My grandmother Zhang Yunyu, my fourth aunt Yu Qingyue, and I stood in the center of the bustling Moshigu settlement, our eyes drawn to the lively scene before us. Crowds moved about, and various shouts and bargaining sounds mingled together, creating a unique symphony of everyday life.

We first arrived at the Wanbaoge store, ready to sell the blood beast materials we had worked so hard to obtain. After entering the store and negotiating with the shopkeeper, the transaction was successfully completed. Carrying our newfound wealth, we felt exceptionally relaxed and happy.

Stepping out of Wanbaoge, the three of us strolled leisurely through the streets of the Moshigu settlement. The dazzling array of goods lining the streets was overwhelming: exquisite handicrafts, fragrant snacks, and all sorts of strange and wonderful trinkets. We admired the surrounding scenery and chatted casually, fully enjoying this rare moment of tranquility.

Just as we stepped out of the Wanbaoge store, He Beixi, He Beiyu, He Beixu, He Yuanteng, He Beizhi, He Beihang, He Yuanzhen, and He Xuanya unexpectedly arrived. They, too, carried the carcasses of the blood beasts they had hunted, intending to exchange them for their rewards. And so, our two groups, like two parallel lines that briefly intersected, perfectly missed each other.

However, fate always seems to like playing tricks. Although we initially went our separate ways, we eventually met again in front of an inconspicuous little stall. When we saw each other's familiar faces, we were both taken aback at first, and then we both smiled with delight.

Fourth Aunt Yu Qingyue saw a familiar yet slightly weary figure slowly walking towards her from afar. As it drew closer, she finally recognized the person as her son, He Beixi, whom she had been longing for day and night! Yu Qingyue couldn't help but burst into tears of joy, her voice trembling as she said, "My son, I've missed you so much! You only went to the Northern Wilderness for a short trip, how come it's been almost a year and we still haven't heard from you?"

He Beixi quickly stepped forward and supported his mother, who was unsteady on her feet due to her emotional state. He said with deep remorse, "Mother, I encountered many unexpected events during my trip, which prevented me from sending messages to the family in time. I am so unfilial to have caused you so much worry!"

Before she could finish speaking, Yu Qingyue could no longer suppress the surging emotions within her. She tightly embraced He Beixi, tears streaming down her face like a burst dam. In that moment, it seemed as if she wanted to convey all the longing and concern she had felt for her son over the past year through this hug.

He Beixi was also deeply moved, knowing full well that this journey to the Northern Wilderness was fraught with peril. Although he ultimately failed to find the coveted fire-attribute Dao Foundation Treasure, the fact that he had been fortunate enough to receive the inheritance of a Celestial Realm expert and the incomparably precious Golden Spirit Yuan Breaking Vine made the trip worthwhile. Now, being able to return safely and once again be embraced by his mother filled him with immense happiness and fulfillment.

The mother and son stood embracing, reluctant to part, drawing the attention of everyone around them. In this noisy and bustling world, this genuine and pure family bond was especially precious and moving.

He Beixi spotted that familiar and dear figure from afar—his grandmother, Zhang Yunyu, was standing not far away, smiling at him. Like a joyful little deer, he ran over to greet his grandmother.

"Grandma! Grandma! I've missed you so much!" He Beixi exclaimed excitedly. "It's been so long since I've seen you. How have you been lately?"

Grandma Zhang Yunyu patted He Beixi's head affectionately and replied with a smile, "Don't worry, child, Grandma's cultivation has recently made a breakthrough! That's why I accompanied your older brother to this northern border for an adventure. But you, you little rascal, are always running around everywhere, making Grandma quite worried. Now that we've met, if you don't have anything important to do, just go home and stay for a while, so Grandma can rest easy and get some rest."

He Beixi nodded hurriedly and replied, "Yes, yes, Grandma is right! I'll definitely need to rest for a while when I get home." As he spoke, he turned his head and saw me standing beside him, and quickly greeted me, "Big brother! Hehe, I've really had a very fruitful trip! I'll tell you all about it when we get home."

I nodded slightly in agreement: "Fifth Brother, that's excellent. Once we get home, we brothers must sit down and I'll listen to you tell me about the strange and interesting things you've experienced along the way."

I smiled and walked towards my grandmother Zhang Yunyu and my fourth aunt Yu Qingyue. They were standing to the side chatting with He Beiyu, He Beixu, He Yuanteng, He Beizhi, He Beihang, He Yuanzhen, He Xuanya, and others. I greeted them politely one by one, and they all responded warmly, exchanging pleasantries and creating a very harmonious atmosphere.

After some discussion, we decided to leave the Moshigu settlement together and embark on our journey home. After all, my grandmother Zhang Yunyu, my fourth aunt Yu Qingyue, and I had been away from home for almost a month, while He Beixi, He Beiyu, and eight others had been away for almost a year. Everyone was filled with longing for home and wished they could fly back immediately.

The next morning, the sun shone warmly on the earth. Our group of eleven set off on our journey, full of energy. Along the way, we chatted and laughed, sharing our experiences and observations. Although the journey was long, time passed quickly because we were with our loved ones.

Before a day had even passed, we could see the magnificent Taichang Pass in the distance. This pass stood like a giant barrier, protecting the peace of our hometown. As we approached, we recognized many familiar faces among the guards—all members of our family. Everyone was overjoyed to see each other, exchanging greetings and pleasantries. Then, as required, we presented our exit documents and underwent a thorough inspection. After everything went smoothly, we were finally allowed to enter our family's stronghold at Taichang Pass for a short rest.

Although the outpost wasn't large, it was furnished warmly and comfortably. We entered the room and found places to sit and rest. Some brewed hot tea, while others shared their provisions. We ate and drank while continuing to chat, dreaming of riding our Azure Spirit Horses swiftly back to our clan the next morning. At that moment, everyone's hearts had already flown to that warm harbor…
