A painting was quietly covered by the corner of the curtains, unnoticed by anyone. Although the view was dim and only half of the painting was visible, she could still make out some of its contents.

It was an incredibly beautiful half-face, with jet-black hair flowing in the wind, and dark, bright eyes gazing serenely into the distance, their thoughts unreadable.

Her snow-white, high-bridged nose showcased her delicate and beautiful facial features, and her lips parted slightly, as if she were looking at something.

She looks remarkably like Lina.

She couldn't help but feel incredulous: "Is this me? Who gave you permission to paint me with such a lowly hair color and eyes? How dare you!"

Ni Qing looked at her, puzzled: "Lowly? I think you might have misunderstood. I drew myself."

"I am or my human self."

"You yourself?" Lina was stunned for a moment. She looked at the other person more carefully. There was indeed a difference between the other person's appearance and hers, but the other person's spirit was very similar to hers, which made it difficult for her to tell them apart for a moment.

Does she look a lot like Ni Qing?

She didn't deny the half-vampire's appearance, and even vaguely felt that he had the upper hand over her. Lina pursed her lips and looked at Ni Qing suspiciously again.

It really does seem a bit like it. How come she never noticed it before? And every time, she was stunned by her calm and composed demeanor.

Once words are spoken, they are like water spilled; it's too late for her to take them back. Now that things have come to a head, there's no need for her to keep up the pretense.

Getting her to apologize is virtually impossible.

"I have something to do, I have to go now." She offered no explanation for her outrageous remarks, nor did she show any remorse. After all, in her heart, she had always believed that half-vampires were lowly, and so were humans.

The humans she had encountered were undoubtedly greedy, selfish, lustful, and despicable... How could Your Highness possibly like Ni Qing, who was once born a human?

Was it simply because Ni Qing had helped him?

If it were her who was being helped, she would only feel that it was something a half-vampire servant should do, and even if he were to die for her, it would be only natural, after all, she was born noble.

Why did Ni Qing paint this picture? Don't humans all yearn for immortality? Humans who become half-vampires have never regretted it, and even despise their former selves, let alone paint their own portraits.

Is this enough to prove that Ni Qing still prefers himself as a human rather than a vampire?

In terms of lineage, Ni Qing is no match for her; in terms of background and etiquette, she is inferior; and in terms of appearance...

She lowered her eyes, her blood-red pupils shimmering with a subtle, brewing emotion.

Today's trip was definitely worthwhile; her hard work and perseverance over the past few days were truly worthwhile.

The black-haired girl disappeared into the darkness, her black hair fluttering in the breeze outside the window. A pair of blood-red eyes watched her departing figure with a meaningful look, a faint smile playing on her lips.

"Guess what you look a bit like right now?" 103 asked nervously.

Ni Qing smiled: "Guess whether I'll guess or not?"

103: "..."

103: "You're a bit like one of those jumpy female ghosts in horror movies."

Ni Qing's smiling face froze instantly.

She said expressionlessly, "It's not just similar. Next time, find me another supernatural dimension, and see if I can just rely on my talent to turn into a female ghost."

The system wisely withdrew.

After all the teasing, every time Vanina turned around to look at her, she was terrified.

Ni Qing glanced at her casually, her red lips parting slightly: "Idiot."
