Third planet in an unknown star system

Imperial Forward Base

"I feel like someone is watching me. Who is it?" On a peaceful day, Xing was lying in her office chair with the back reclined when she suddenly felt like she was being watched.

"Tsk~ Elena isn't here. If she were, she could help block out these strange feelings." Xing said with a displeased expression, and then started grumbling.

"Your Majesty, our patrol squad in the Seventh District has been attacked, and there were no survivors," an officer suddenly walked in and reported.

"Hmm? What's going on?" Xing became interested.

"It's an Eldar ship. They suddenly appeared in front of a Storm-class frigate patrolling the area and opened fire, crippling its engines. According to the internal surveillance footage found in the wreckage, most of the crew were killed, and a dozen soldiers were captured," the officer reported.

“Eldar? Let me think… How did these bastards end up on my turf? Send dimensional reconnaissance ships to find their home base, then dispatch the main fleet there.” Xing thought for a moment and then issued an order.

"Remember, just use the wave cannon to blast their homeland to pieces. The Empire doesn't need these alien creatures that could rebel at any time."

"Yes, Your Majesty." The officer left the office.

"Snap!" Just after finishing speaking with the officer, Xing suddenly reached out and snapped his fingers. Then, something shattered, and a speck of light slowly drifted down onto Xing's desk.

"What is that?" Xing raised an eyebrow, looking at the point of light in front of her, and reached out to touch it...

"Buzz—!"

A strange energy fluctuation swept across, and Xing briefly found herself in a peculiar space. After looking around at the ornate decorations, Xing turned her head to look at the golden figure sitting high on the throne not far away…

"Hmm~" While still pondering what had happened, Xing suddenly returned to normal. Xing felt that the golden skeleton she had just seen looked somewhat familiar. After frantically searching through her fragmented memories, she finally remembered who it was.

"Oh~ the emperor of the human empire~ what was his name again? Never mind, it's not important. I just want to know what this emperor wants from me all of a sudden." Xing pondered for a moment, then gave up.

"..." A certain voice rang in Xing's ears.

"...What do I care? I just need to wipe out all of humanity's enemies. As for your human empire? You'd better not get in my way, or I'll annihilate the entire galaxy where it is located," Xing replied.

"..." the voice continued.

"Humans? Look at those haphazard modifications, can they still be pure-blooded humans? I can randomly pull out a vampire from the old Terra era tens of thousands of years ago, and he's more pure-blooded than any human today, believe it or not?"

"........."

"The Imperial Guard? Do as you please, just don't interfere with my fleet's fight against the aliens."

".........!"

"Tsk~ What nonsense." Xing finally lost her patience, waved her hand to shoo away the voice, and finally her ears were quiet.

"Damn, they really know how to play. They dumped all those human prayers for the emperor's protection on me..." Xing muttered, then patted his ears and finally could no longer hear those noisy sounds.

"Hahahahahaha..." The voice let out a mechanical laugh.

"..." Xing paused for a moment, then unilaterally closed the divine communication channel between the two... people? Yes, between the two gods.

"Watch out for those guys in the warp; they've got their eyes on you," the Emperor's voice rang out once more.

"Guess whether my fleet will travel through warp space?" Xing paused and said.

"Oh~ I almost forgot about that, I really envy you~" came the envious voice from the Emperor's side.

"How about I give you a hyperspace engine sometime? It's so much better than your super dangerous subspace engine. You can fly freely throughout the Milky Way," Xing said with a smile.

"I would love to have it too, but unfortunately those four demon bastards in the warp would never agree. Not to mention the navigators who guide Imperial ships, and families like the Star Language Hall and all those connected to the warp," the Emperor replied.

"Oh, and those mechanical cultists who are crazy about technology. If it weren't for the fact that their empire's spaceship blueprints and construction hadn't been reduced to what they are now, every time a sage dies, there's one less blueprint."

“Indeed, the people in your court and the Imperial State Church are beyond belief. Just a few days ago, they killed an Inquisitor who tried to summon a demon in my territory... Are all the Imperial Inquisitors this audacious?” Xing replied.

"The empire's territory is too vast, and I am unable to move while sitting here," the emperor said.

"It can't compare to the civilizations in another universe I've seen, but the Milky Way is indeed large for the current human empire. At least people can live peacefully for a period of time, even though the environment isn't great," Xing said.

"But in the world I've seen, the randomness of ordinary people's lives and deaths is just as random. Your four evil gods' subordinates are crazy? Sorry, the guys in the world I've seen are even more insane. They can affect half the universe with just one problem."

"Forget about that, you don't mind if I arrest all those court personnel who come to my side, do you?" Xing asked the Emperor.

“They are not under my jurisdiction, but there are still loyal ones among them,” the emperor replied.

“I know that I will keep an eye on those who don’t act recklessly and release them when the opportunity arises. But those who are so obsessed that they want to kill me should not blame me. Especially those who go crazy and start fighting when they hear that my troops do not believe in the Emperor,” Xing said.

"Those who have betrayed their country because of the current oppression of the Empire, you can take them in. After all, they did not surrender to Chaos." The Emperor did not respond to Xing's words, but sighed and then mentioned the troops and planets that had been forced to betray their country.

"As for their loyalty to me, I will send someone to talk to them."

"Alright, leave it to me. We're all under divine protection anyway, aren't we?" Xing said with a smile.

"Speaking of which, you only have the Imperial Guards left by your side, right? Can you communicate with them? Don't accidentally wipe out the entire enemy force."

"I will take care of the Imperial Guard issue."

"Alright, it's up to you. I was just planning to visit a planet that pays a tithe in your name, do you mind?" Xing said with a smile.

"Whatever," the emperor replied.

"Hehe~" Xing laughed out loud, and after completely and unilaterally shutting down the divine power channel once again, she opened a portal and ran inside.

Human Empire - Terra Palace

"What a god with such an unpredictable personality~" On his throne, watching the Imperial Guards frantically running around trying to find something for some reason, the Emperor chuckled, and then his power began to extend towards them…
