Chapter 250 United We Stand, Darkness Defeated

Chapter 250 United We Stand, Darkness Defeated

But they knew there was no way to retreat; behind them lay the severe punishment of the dark forces.

Faced with the overwhelming pressure of the righteous army, they had no choice but to grit their teeth and fight back.

"What do we do? There are too many of them, and so many of them are really tough!"

A man in black spoke in a trembling voice, his eyes filled with terror.

He thought to himself, "I should have known better than to take this lousy mission. It looks like I'm doomed!"

"Shut up!" the leader of the men in black roared, though he himself was flustered, he still tried to appear calm.

"If we retreat, our superiors won't let us off the hook. We're going to die either way, so we might as well fight for a chance to survive!"

He gritted his teeth secretly, calculating in his mind:

"Maybe we can break through in the chaos. If we manage to get back alive, I'll have to have a good talk with the higher-ups. This mission is absolutely inhuman!"

The wolf king launched the first attack, rushing into the group of people in black like a black lightning bolt, so fast that it was almost impossible to catch its figure.

Sharp claws and teeth instantly tore several men in black apart, blood splattering out and appearing particularly glaring in the moonlight.

Its roar shook the surrounding trees, as if announcing the arrival of justice to the forces of darkness.

"Ah! This wolf king is too powerful, I can't stop it at all!" A man in black screamed as he was struck by the wolf king's claws and fell to the ground.

He was filled with despair: "I don't want to die, I have a wife and children at home..."

Grandma waved her staff, and mysterious runes flew out from the tip, shimmering with an eerie light in the air.

Like fireworks blooming in the night sky, beautiful yet deadly.

Then, like raindrops, they fell upon the group of men in black. Wherever the runes touched, the men in black screamed in agony.

Their bodies seemed to be bound by an invisible force, unable to move.

"What kind of bizarre spell is this! I can't move!" a man in black shouted in terror, struggling desperately, but to no avail.

He was filled with remorse: "I really shouldn't have joined the dark forces for that little bit of money. It's too late to regret it now."

Grandma moved like a ghost among the men in black, the dagger in her hand gleaming coldly in the moonlight, each strike accurately hitting the vital points of the men in black.

Before the men in black could even react, they were already on the ground, blood spreading beneath them.

"Watch out for that old woman! She's ruthless!" a man in black shouted, his eyes filled with fear.

He was terrified: "If this continues, I'm sure I'll die here. I have to find a way to escape."

The mother then cast healing spells from behind, her hands radiating a soft light.

The light, like warm sunshine, gently shone on the injured people.

The light, like threads, drifted towards the injured people, instantly healing their wounds.

The wounds healed at a speed visible to the naked eye, as if they had never existed.

"They still have people to treat them, how are we supposed to fight them!" a man in black cried out in despair, his heart filled with helplessness.

He thought, "The enemy is too strong. We have no chance of winning. Are we really going to die here?"

The aunt pushed her hands forward, and the accumulated magical power transformed into a huge shockwave that swept towards the man in black.

Wherever the shockwave passed, the men in black were sent flying, tumbling through the air like leaves blown by a gale, before crashing heavily to the ground.

"That shockwave is too powerful! Get out of the way!" a man in black shouted in panic, but he was still hit by the shockwave and sent flying far away.

His heart was filled with resentment: "Who did the higher-ups offend that sent us here to die!"

My uncle-in-law wielded a huge battle axe, which stirred up a gust of wind that howled as if it would engulf everything in its path.

He charged into the group of men in black, and with each swing of his sword, he cut down a group of them.

His strength was astonishing; the man in black was utterly unable to withstand his attacks. The battle axe struck the man in black with a dull thud, and blood splattered everywhere.

"This guy is too strong, we are no match for him!" A man in black looked at his uncle in horror, his body trembling uncontrollably.

He thought to himself, "I don't want to die here, I want to go home..."

The uncle brandished his longsword, unleashing a torrent of sword energy that shot towards the man in black like sharp blades.

After being struck by the sword energy, the man in black suffered numerous wounds, from which blood flowed freely.

Those sword energies were like nimble venomous snakes, accurately hitting their targets.

"Sword energy is coming, be careful!" a man in black shouted, trying to dodge, but he was still cut by the sword energy.

His heart was filled with fear and anger: "These people are too powerful, how can we possibly win? The dark forces have really screwed us over this time!"

The aunt raised a golden shield to protect her companions.

The shield was as solid as a rock; the man in black tried to attack it, but could not inflict any damage.

The golden shield shimmered brilliantly in the moonlight, resembling an impregnable fortress.

"How do we break this shield? We can't even scratch it!" a man in black said dejectedly, his weapon hanging limply in his hand.

He thought to himself, "Are we really going to be trapped here, waiting for death to come?"

Aunt Jiaolong threw out the blue water ball in her hand. The water ball quickly grew larger in the air and then turned into countless sharp ice spikes, shooting towards the man in black.

Ice spikes rained down like a storm, and the men in black dodged them, but many were still hit by the spikes.

The ice picks pierced their bodies, bringing a chilling cold and excruciating pain.

"Ouch, ice spike! It hurts!" A man in black was hit by an ice spike and howled in pain.

He was filled with despair: "I don't want to die, someone save me..."

Flower and Leaf Grass was completely focused on casting the Good Luck Spell, her little face flushed red with concentration.

In an instant, the man in black seemed to be caught in a vortex of misfortune.

Some of the men in black were about to raise their swords to attack when they suddenly discovered that a crow had snatched their swords away from their hands as it fell from the sky.

The crow cawed smugly and flew away into the distance, leaving the man in black looking utterly bewildered.

"What the hell! Where did the sword go?!" The man in black was both shocked and furious, cursing his bad luck in his heart.

He thought to himself, "Today is really weird, why do all sorts of bad luck happen to me!"

Some of the men in black had just taken a step when the ground beneath their feet suddenly collapsed.

He fell directly into a deep pit that had appeared out of nowhere, and all that could be heard was a pitiful cry for help.

"Help! I've fallen in!" the man in black cried out desperately in the pit, his heart filled with fear.

He thought in fear, "Will I never get out of this pit? Am I going to die here?"

Some of the men in black suddenly developed itchy red rashes all over their bodies, making them roll around on the ground from the itch. They had no will to fight and kept cursing under their breath.

"What kind of strange disease is this! It's so itchy!" a man in black cried out in pain as he scratched the red rash.

His heart was filled with resentment: "It must have been that little girl who did this. When I get out of here, I'll definitely settle the score with her!"

Watching this scene, the foliage secretly rejoiced: "Hehe, let's see how arrogant you can be now. You've got a lot more bad luck to come!"

She continued to activate her magic, and suddenly a large dark cloud drifted in from the sky, and large raindrops poured down, turning the ground into a muddy mess.

The men in black struggled to move forward in the mud, and every now and then someone would slip and fall, getting covered in mud.

Worse still, the rain seemed to possess some kind of magic, making their weapons heavy, as if they were under a spell of being weighed down by a thousand pounds.

"This rain couldn't have come at the worst possible time! And why are these weapons so heavy!" a man in black complained, struggling to swing his weapon.

He was extremely frustrated: "This war is impossible to fight. If this continues, we'll be finished without them even lifting a finger!"

Hua Yeqing continuously cast ice spells, creating ice walls among the group of people in black, trapping many of them.

The ice walls were crystal clear yet hard, trapping the man in black inside. He struggled to escape, but to no avail.

"It's over, I'm trapped by the ice wall! What do I do?" The trapped man in black frantically pounded on the ice wall, his heart filled with despair.

He thought, "Am I really going to die inside this ice wall? I'm not willing to accept this!"

Under the fierce attack of the crowd, the men in black gradually lost their grip and began to scatter and flee, their figures appearing so disheveled in the darkness.

Some of the men in black fell to the ground, but ignoring the pain, they quickly got up and continued running, their hearts filled with fear.

"Run! Run or you're dead!" a man in black shouted as he ran.

He had only one thought in his mind: "As long as I can get out of here alive, I'll never do this kind of thing again, even if you kill me!"

Some of the men in black were knocked down by their companions, cursing angrily, but they could only run away with them; they had lost the will to fight.

This battle is like a contest between light and darkness, and at this moment, light is gradually gaining the upper hand.

As they gave chase, the crowd shouted, "Don't let them get away! We must destroy the forces of darkness!"

Everyone was filled with the belief in victory and determined to drive the dark forces out of this continent.

Their voices echoed in the night sky, like a stirring battle song, proclaiming the imminent victory of justice.

On this battlefield filled with hope and courage, light is gradually dispelling darkness, and justice will surely triumph over evil.

After a fierce battle, the group finally managed to defeat the men in black and break through the encirclement.

As they watched the men in black flee in disarray, a surge of triumphant joy welled up within them.

"We finally broke through! This battle was truly hard-fought!"

"I can't believe it!" one of my companions exclaimed, his face beaming with a smile of relief.

As he spoke, he waved his arms vigorously, as if trying to spread his joy into the air.

He secretly rejoiced: "That was truly a brush with death. Those men in black were extremely vicious."

Luckily, we were united, otherwise we would have been in deep trouble today.

"But this is just one of the dark forces' schemes; there are probably more dangers ahead."

Another companion frowned and replied worriedly, his gaze fixed on the distance.

It seems that the many dangers hidden in the darkness have already been seen.

He couldn't help but think to himself, "The forces of darkness are always treacherous and cunning. This breakout might just be a deliberate act by them."

Who knows what even more ruthless tricks they might have up their sleeves later.

Everyone sighed with mixed feelings, a mixture of joy and worry.
