Whether the world Mimir refers to is the Nine Realms of Norse mythology or the entire mythological world is unknown.

"I really want to know how you got here," Mimir said, his eyes wide with curiosity.

“You’ll find out,” Dio said, and Kratos, ignoring Mimir’s objections, put him back in his back waist.

Dio also used his telekinesis to send Kratos and his son into the temple.
