Chapter 80 Hela's Journey to Godhood
"Forget it, I already said I wasn't going. Let's leave Hela alone and see the next world." Dio used the system to locate another universe, instructed his subordinates to properly receive Thanos's legacy, and then led a squad of Imperial Guards into it.
However, Dio still left a message for Hela, telling her to take a few Imperial Guards or other guards with her before going to the next world.
If you rely on yourself to do everything, what are your subordinates doing?
On Hela's side, in the world of Kratos, the God of War.
Asgard, in the Nordic region.
Heimdall was sitting on the edge of the high wall, eating an apple, when suddenly he seemed to notice something. He turned around and saw a blue portal appear behind him.
Heimdall frowned and looked at the emerald green raven beside him: "Odin, something's happened here, come quick!"
As he spoke, he drew his sword, remaining vigilant.
Before long, Saul arrived. Judging from his dizzy appearance, he must have just been pulled up from the table.
Odin followed closely behind, holding his scepter.
The gaunt Odin stared wide-eyed, trembling all over.
“This…this is the same as the crack, it is…” Odin was very excited. He sensed a similar energy fluctuation from this spatial portal to the crack in his basement.
Could it contain the same kind of knowledge as the one mentioned?
Heimdall frowned. "This thing looks dangerous."
Thor shook his head, tidied his messy hair, and snapped his fingers to summon Mjolnir.
"Then I'll go smash it!"
He was about to step forward and swing the hammer.
"No, no, no!" Odin quickly stopped Thor, extending his scepter to block him.
Just as the three were arguing, footsteps sounded, and a figure walked out.
"It seems that Asgard in this world is quite hospitable." Hela stepped out of the portal and looked at the system display on her wrist, learning some information about this world.
Odin and the other two fell silent, staring in shock at the woman who had emerged.
She was tall and slender, wearing a crown of thorns and spikes, and a tight-fitting, dazzlingly white leather armor.
The portal disappeared, and Odin immediately came to his senses and rushed forward to try to stop it.
"Why did this happen!" Odin stared at the vanished portal, ran to the spot where it had just appeared, and knelt on the ground in despair.
"I said, who are you?" Unlike Odin's embarrassed appearance, Thor and Heimdall did not care about the disappearance of the portal and still looked at the woman in front of them warily.
"Hela, Hela Odinson!" Hela proudly raised her head.
"The former first in line to the throne of Asgard."
Hela's first sentence made Thor and Heimdall look at Odin in surprise, and her second sentence made all three of them look at her in surprise.
"Not Asgard of your world."
Oh ~
Thor and Heimdall remained on guard.
As gods, Odin would occasionally mention during their formative years that there were many worlds beyond the Nine Realms, so they had long known of other divine races, but parallel worlds…
Who knows if they had any ill intentions?
"You said you are the first in line to the throne of Asgard in another world?" Odin caught the words in Hela's words, stood up, came to Hela, and looked up at her.
Hela enjoys the opportunity to look down on Odin, even if this Odin is not her Odin.
"This is crazy!"
Odin's crazed expression made Hela frown and involuntarily take a step back.
"I'm so sorry, I'm so sorry." Odin quickly explained after noticing Hela's expression.
"I just didn't expect parallel worlds to exist, although they do theoretically exist!" Odin laughed, turned around and told Thor and Heimdall to put away their weapons, then pulled Hela along, trying to walk back.
"Could you tell me what the other Nine Realms is like?"
Hela thought about it and decided that since she was already there, it wouldn't hurt to have some fun.
They followed them all the way to the Golden Palace.
It's called the Golden Palace, but it's actually just a larger room.
Hela thought of Midgard, of the mortals who once worshipped them, whose dwellings were no different from the house before her, and vastly different from her own Asgardian palace.
She pursed her lips and walked in with a hint of disdain.
There were several people standing inside the Golden Palace, whom Odin had notified in advance.
“That’s Heimdall outside, this is Thor, you should know him, this is Sif, Baldr, Manny… Where is my god of courage?” Odin introduced them, then noticed that one person seemed to be missing and asked in confusion.
Odin was making introductions, while Hela was also observing these people.
Heimdall was actually a short white man, and his skin color was similar to that of mortals in myths and legends.
Thor is too fat and taller than Dio (Thor in the God of War series is 2.5 meters tall).
Sif... blonde with big breasts and a voluptuous figure. Hela calmly compared herself to her and was completely defeated!
Baldr... in her world he's the old man who guards the Rainbow Bridge, Heimdall's mentor, but in this world he's a short, shirtless man, about the same height as Odin before him.
As for Manny, in the Marvel universe, Manny was a powerful warrior in Hela's own Asgardian army. He later joined the Ultramarines of Astartes and was one of her honor guards. He died in Valhalla after trying to save himself from the Supreme Evolution.
The man in front of them, Manny, was a tall, shirtless man.
“Modi took his sister out hunting,” Sif explained to Odin.
“Alright, whatever.” Odin rubbed his hands together and introduced, “This is Hela from a parallel world’s Asgard, and she was once the first in line to inherit the throne of Asgard in that world.”
Odin's words drew everyone's attention.
Hela felt uncomfortable; it felt like being an animal on display in a zoo.
“Alright, as the former first in line to the throne, may I ask you a few questions?” Odin asked, standing at the foot of the throne steps.
Hela looked at the people around her, her mood improved considerably, and she nodded.
"If you can cross parallel worlds, then how did Odin on your side avoid Ragnarok?"
As soon as Odin finished speaking, gasps of surprise rippled through the hall.
Thor and Sif exclaimed excitedly, "Didn't you say it was a lie?!"
Heimdall looked incredulous and wanted to ask.
Badr, on the other hand, looked excited.
Manny then went to Sif and, together with his father Saul, comforted his mother.
Seeing the somewhat noisy atmosphere in the hall, Odin waved his hand, unleashing powerful magic that instantly silenced everyone.
Hela narrowed her eyes. She was unaffected, but she realized that Odin was not as simple as he seemed.
As everyone realized they couldn't speak, they gradually calmed down.
Odin then waved his hand again and said, "I'm sorry you had to see this. Now, can you tell me?"
Hela wiped her head, removing her headdress, and let her black hair fall down. She stretched a bit and said, "Of course."
"My husband hasn't been taken care of yet, and it was my husband who brought me to this parallel world," Hela said truthfully.
