Tavern of the Spear: Desire for Pleasure

Chapter 51 "Consecration Ceremony"

The scene shifts to the other side, where Cheng Yu has been brought by Qian Tu to the territory of the Northern Wolf Clan. This is not the desolate landscape Evand remembered, but a vibrant grassland dotted with sparse bushes. In the gentle breeze, the grass ripples like a green ocean. The moment Cheng Yu steps onto this land, he feels countless eyes fixed on him, as if he were a lamb that has strayed into a wolf pack, making his hair stand on end.

“Don’t be nervous,” Qian Tu seemed to sense Cheng Yu’s unease and patted him on the shoulder reassuringly. “They’re just curious.” Then, he raised his voice, his tone carrying a hint of warning, “All of you, take your eyes off me! These are my guests, and no one is allowed to be rude!”

Sensing the authority in Qian Tu's tone, the prying gazes gradually disappeared, and Cheng Yu relaxed slightly. Qian Tu led him deeper into the territory. Along the way, Cheng Yu saw many members of the Northern Wolf Clan. Most of them were tall, with gray-black fur, sharp eyes, and a wild aura.

“Our chieftain is waiting for you up ahead,” Qian Tu said, pointing to a huge tent not far away. “He is looking forward to meeting you.”

Cheng Yu nodded and followed Qian Tu into the tent. The interior was much more spacious than he had imagined, with a huge wooden table in the center, surrounded by animal hides and blankets. At the far end of the wooden table sat a figure that startled Cheng Yu.

It wasn't the tall, imposing clan leader he had imagined, but a child who looked only seven or eight years old! He had short, silver-white hair, eyes that shone like rubies, and a tender, adorable face. If Qian Tu hadn't stood respectfully before him, Cheng Yu would never have believed that this was the clan leader of the Northern Wolf Clan.

What surprised him even more was what happened next. Qian Tu walked up to the little boy, knelt on one knee, and bowed respectfully, saying, "Father, I have brought our guest."

“Son, you did very well.” The little boy’s voice was clear and melodious, yet it carried a kind of authority that did not match his age. “This must be the guest from the South. Welcome to the Northern Wolf Clan.” He raised his head and looked at Cheng Yu with his bright, ruby-like eyes, his gaze filled with curiosity and inquiry.

Cheng Yu stood there, stunned, unsure how to react. He never imagined that the chieftain of the Northern Wolf Clan was actually Qian Tu's father, and such a young child at that. He tried to suppress his shock, bowed slightly, and said politely, "Hello, Chieftain. It is an honor to visit the Northern Wolf Clan."

The little boy smiled and said, "Don't be so formal, just call me Kaimen Richie." He gestured to the seat next to him, "Please sit down, let's have a good chat."

Cheng Yu sat down as instructed, his mind filled with questions. What kind of power and wisdom did this seemingly young chieftain possess to lead the entire Northern Wolf Clan? He couldn't wait to learn more about the story of this mysterious tribe.

Kaimen Rich jumped down from the tall wooden chair, landed steadily on the ground, walked up to Cheng Yu, and looked up at him, saying, "Squat down, it'll be easier for us to talk that way."

Although Cheng Yu felt a little strange, he obediently squatted down. Kaimen-Rich circled him, scrutinizing him closely, clicking his tongue in amazement as he looked: "Incredible, your aura is completely different from ours. How did you get here?"

Feeling a little uncomfortable under his gaze, Cheng Yu tried to stand up, but a small hand pressed down on his forehead, rendering him immobile. Kaimen Richie's strength was unexpectedly great; Cheng Yu felt as if he were being crushed by a small mountain.

"Qian Tu, have you already blessed him?" Kaimen Richie turned to ask Qian Tu, his tone carrying a hint of barely perceptible expectation.

Qian Tu paused for a moment, then nodded firmly, "Yes, Father."

Kaimen-Rich's face immediately darkened. He leaped onto Qian Tu's head and gently tapped it with his small hand: "You brat! How dare you not bless your father first? This is outrageous! Don't you have any respect for me as the clan leader?"

Qian Tu lowered his head, not daring to argue, letting Kaimen-Rich lecture him. Cheng Yu watched this scene from the side, his heart filled with doubt. Consecration? What does that mean? Could it be some kind of ritual unique to the northern wolf clan?

After teaching Qian Tu a lesson, Kaimen-Ritchie jumped back to the ground, walked back to Cheng Yu, and said, "Since Qian Tu has already blessed you, you are now officially a member of our Northern Wolf Clan. From today onwards, you are my subject, and I will protect your safety."

Cheng Yu was completely bewildered. He had no idea what had happened, but he still politely thanked him, saying, "Thank you, Clan Chief."

Kaimen Rich waved his hand and said, "You're welcome. By the way, what's your name?"

"My name is Cheng Yu."

“Cheng Yu…” Kaimen-Ritchie repeated his name, then said, “From now on, you’ll stay with Qian Tu; he’ll take care of you.”

"Okay." Cheng Yu nodded.

"Alright, you guys can go and rest now. I still have things to take care of." Kaimen Rich waved his hand, indicating that they could leave.

Cheng Yu and Qian Tu stepped out of the tent together. The sunlight outside was exceptionally bright, warming them comfortably. Cheng Yu took a deep breath, feeling as if he were in a dream. He never imagined that he would join the Northern Wolf Clan in this way.

“Cheng Yu, don’t worry,” Qian Tu said, seeing Cheng Yu’s unease. “Although your father looks like a child, he is very strong and cares a lot about his people. As long as you remain loyal to the Northern Wolf Clan, he will treat you well.”

Cheng Yu nodded, feeling a little more at ease. He looked at the vast grassland before him, his heart filled with anticipation for the future.

"Qian Tu, your father... doesn't he intend to talk to me about the seal?" Cheng Yu couldn't help but ask as they walked, his mind preoccupied with this matter concerning his safety.

Qian Tu shook his head: "It's not the right time yet. Father has his own plans." He paused, then added, "Don't worry, since Father has promised you, he will definitely keep his promise."

Cheng Yu nodded, though he still had doubts, but he didn't press the matter further. He then recalled Kaimen-Ritchie's unusual appearance and asked curiously, "Qian Tu, your father...why does he look like a child?"

“This is due to the influence of the magic runes,” Qian Tu explained. “My father’s true age is much older than he looks, and he doesn’t only have one appearance.” He didn’t explain the specific effects of the magic runes in detail, only mentioning it vaguely.

Passing through a patch of low bushes, they arrived at a simply decorated wooden house. This was Qian Tu's home. Cheng Yu was about to step across the threshold when he was surprised to find Kaimen-Ritchie already sitting by the fireplace inside, holding a steaming cup of milk tea, seemingly having been waiting for some time.

"Father, what's wrong with you..." Qian Tu was also somewhat surprised.

Kaimen Richie gave them a knowing smile. "I have my own way of doing things." He didn't explain how he had gotten there so quickly, just smiled mysteriously.

To Cheng Yu's even greater surprise, there were four or five scantily clad young women in the room, sitting around Kaimen Richie, attentively serving him tea and water, massaging his shoulders, their eyes filled with admiration and respect.

"Who...who are they?" Cheng Yu asked Qian Tu, pointing at the women.

“They are all my mothers,” Qian Tu replied calmly. “I have many mothers and many brothers and sisters.”

Cheng Yu was stunned. He hadn't expected the family structure of the Northern Wolf Clan to be so unique. He smiled awkwardly, inwardly marveling at how "unruly" this seemingly young clan leader was.

Kaimen Richie seemed to notice Cheng Yu's surprise. He put down his milk tea and explained, "We Northern Wolves value free love. After all, this is also a way of understanding pleasure. There is no limit to the number of partners. As long as two people are in love, they can become partners and raise offspring together."

Cheng Yu nodded, indicating his understanding. Although this concept was completely different from the education he had received since childhood, he did not feel repulsed by it. He realized that he had come to a completely new world with unique culture and customs, and he needed time to adapt and understand it.

“Alright, Chengyu, you must be very tired after your long journey,” Kaimen Richie said. “Go and rest, your room is ready.”

Qian Tu led Cheng Yu to a clean and tidy guest room. The room contained a soft animal skin bed, a simple wooden table, and a few wooden chairs.

“You rest here for a while, I’ll go prepare dinner,” Qian Tu said. “If you need anything, just call me.”

Cheng Yu nodded in thanks. He went into the room, closed the door, and let out a soft sigh of relief. He walked to the window, looked at the beautiful grassland scenery outside, and his heart gradually calmed down.

Just as Cheng Yu was immersed in his dreams for the future, the door was suddenly pushed open. Kaimen Richie walked in, a sly smile on his face. "I'm here to consecrate you," he said lightly, as if he were talking about something trivial.

Cheng Yu was stunned. Although he had a general understanding of the meaning of "consecration," he hadn't expected Kaimen-Rich to personally perform the ceremony for him. He smiled somewhat awkwardly: "Chief, isn't this... a bit too fast?"

Kaimen Richie waved his hand dismissively: "It's alright. Although you're not the first one I've blessed, I won't be angry. After all, you were brought back by Qian Tu, so you're practically my son."

Cheng Yu felt even more embarrassed. He secretly glanced at Kaimen Richie's petite figure and wondered to himself: Is such a small body really okay? And, I always felt that this might be a bit boring for him?

As if reading Cheng Yu's thoughts, Kaimen-Ritchie suddenly grinned mischievously: "What? Think I'm too small? Don't worry, I'll satisfy you." As soon as he finished speaking, his body began to expand rapidly, his muscles bulged, his bones stretched, and in the blink of an eye, he became a burly man who was two and a half meters tall.

Cheng Yu stared dumbfounded at the incredible change before him, speechless for a moment. Kaimen-Ritchie walked up to him, bent down, and whispered in his ear, "Now, is this alright?"

Cheng Yu felt a wave of heat hit him, making his heart race and his breathing quicken. Before he could answer, Kaimen Richie scooped him up and threw him onto the soft animal skin bed.

In the time that followed, Cheng Yu experienced a "consecration ceremony" unlike anything he had ever experienced before. Kaimen Richie displayed a wildness and passion that was completely different from his childlike appearance, making it an unforgettable night for Cheng Yu, filled with a mix of pain and joy.

The next morning, as the first rays of sunlight streamed into the room through the window, Cheng Yu slowly awoke. He felt sore all over and could barely get out of bed. He turned to look beside him; Kaimen Richie was nowhere to be seen, only the messy marks on the sheets silently testifying to the madness of the previous night.

Cheng Yu struggled to sit up, rubbing his aching back, his heart filled with mixed emotions. He didn't know how he felt about this "consecration ceremony"—was he relieved or fearful, expectant or resistant? He only knew that he had completely integrated into this peculiar northern wolf tribe, and his future would be inextricably linked to this tribe.
