The battle ended more easily than expected. The three-headed giant wolf was quickly defeated by the combined attack of Cheng Yu and Bai Yu in their slime forms, turning into a pool of black liquid and disappearing into the night.

"Is that all?" Bai Yu looked at the spot where the three giant wolves had disappeared, feeling that the battle hadn't been satisfying enough.

So the two of them followed the singing and walked toward the direction from which the sound came.
