After playing enough, the beastmen transformed back into human form and took another bath before going ashore to pack their things.

The river wasn't far from the tribe, and it was still early, so the beastmen weren't in a hurry. Bai Ling transformed into her beast form and carried Yue on her back. Chen also transformed into her beast form and ran to Xiao. Its two eyes stared at Xiao expectantly, the meaning of which was self-evident.

The little boy's cheeks flushed slightly. He reached out and stroked the white wolf's smooth fur twice, then nodded gently.

In an instant, the white wolf's eyes went from pitiful to overjoyed. It gently nudged the little one's body with its head and then obediently squatted down beneath it.

Little climbed onto the white wolf's back, grabbed the wolf's mane with both hands, and laughed, "Let's go."

The white wolf slowly stood up and then started running. It ran steadily, which was completely different from its usual behavior.

When Yue saw Xiao sitting on Chen's back, she lowered her head and leaned close to the white lion's head, saying, "Chen looks so silly right now."

The white lion growled twice, indicating that it agreed with this statement.

Bai Ling carried Yue forward. It wasn't very fast, but it left everyone else behind. Yue sat on Bai Ling's back, humming a tuneless melody softly.

There was a slight breeze today, and the breeze carried various sounds into Bai Ling's ears, including birdsong, animal roars, and what sounded like the shouts of orcs.

The shouts started off in the distance, but gradually grew louder and clearer until Bai Ling could even hear the panic and fear in the voices.

Yue also heard the orcs' shouts, and he gleaned more information than Bai Ling. Yue gently patted Bai Ling's fur, and Bai Ling stopped.

Yue listened intently, then pointed in a direction: "Ling, the sound is over here, let's go check it out."

Bai Ling ran in the direction Yue pointed. The land was covered with grass taller than a person, and many trees blocked the view, preventing Bai Ling from running at a slower pace.

Bai Ling heard several orcs shouting, interspersed with the roars of beasts. The howls of those wild animals were "humphs," sounding very muffled. Bai Ling was an orc, and naturally could understand the simple meanings behind the sounds of wild beasts. This particular beast seemed to have gone mad, its roars were especially loud.

Bai Ling climbed up a sloping hill and stood on it, finally seeing what had happened.

Not far away, a group of orcs were hunting.

Their situation didn't seem good. Several animals that looked like cows but were two or three times larger were chasing the group of orcs. The orcs included leopards, wolves, and several foxes. One of the leopards seemed to be injured.

Two bison were chasing the leopard-man. Because of his injury, the leopard-man was not running fast and had to use the trees to barely dodge the attacks from behind.

Yue stood up on Bai Ling's back and said, "Ling, hold on tight."

Bai Ling gave a soft exclamation, indicating that she understood.

Yue took down the bow and arrows from behind him, then took out another arrow from the quiver. He nocked the arrow, drew the bowstring to its fullest extent, and aimed the arrow at the bison chasing the leopard.

The ear's heart was pounding so fast that it didn't even have time to look back; it could only focus on running forward.

But the beasts were getting closer and closer to it. The two beasts had already smelled the blood and would never let it go.

Worse still, its wounds were getting more and more painful, and because of its injuries, it was losing a lot of strength and becoming increasingly weak.

There was a tree in front of it. Er dodged to the side, avoiding the tree, and continued running forward. However, the beast behind it did not dodge the tree and crashed into it. The tree crashed into Er and fell straight down, with some branches and leaves even hitting Er's body.

Ear continued running forward, and the beast behind it was getting closer and closer. It could even hear the beast's heavy breathing. Ear's heart was beating faster, and it had no other thought but to run forward as fast as it could.

At this time, its tribesmen were all fighting with wild beasts, and even if they noticed it, they couldn't come to its rescue immediately.

Just when Ear was almost in despair, it heard the sound of the wind.

The gust of wind seemed to rush towards it at lightning speed, carrying a chilling aura. Its ears were momentarily stunned, but its instincts remained, and it continued to run forward with all its might.

The wind whistled past, barely grazing the fur around my ears, followed by a loud "bang," like wood hitting flesh.

A roar came from behind it.

Ear was familiar with this roar; it was the last cry of a wild beast before its death, filled with despair and resentment. Ear was shocked and panicked. Although it knew that its most important task now was to escape, it still subconsciously looked back.

Then its eyes were filled with horror. The beast chasing it behind it had fallen to the ground, a wooden stick stuck in its neck. The stick was still trembling, and red blood was gushing out of the beast's neck like water. Although the big-eyed beast was still alive, its eyes had lost their luster. It could only lie there twitching and waiting to die.

The other big-eyed beast chasing it was also startled by this turn of events. It jumped up on all fours and ran off in another direction.

Another gust of wind came, and a strange-looking wooden stick flew over, chasing after the fleeing big-eyed beast. It then stuck in the big-eyed beast's rear end, causing the beast to let out a sharp, piercing cry and immediately increase its running speed.

The danger was temporarily averted, and Er breathed a sigh of relief. But as soon as it relaxed, pain took hold of its head, causing it to let out a cry.

Its mind was still in a state of high tension, and the danger had not been completely over. It looked in the direction from which the wooden stick had flown. On the distant earthen slope, a huge white lion stood motionless, with an orc standing on its broad back.

The orc had long silver hair. He remained motionless, holding something he didn't recognize, and facing the battlefield.

Er didn't know what the orc was holding, but it instinctively felt that it was the thing that could throw that strange little stick over.

Because of the distance, it couldn't see the orc's expression clearly, but it thought that the orc must be cold and quiet, otherwise how could he remain motionless!

Yue drew the bowstring fully, aimed at the distant beast, but did not immediately release the arrow; instead, he waited.

The two arrows he fired just now hit two wild beasts, and most of the beasts scattered and fled. The relationship between orcs and wild beasts has been reversed.

Now it's the orcs chasing the beasts.
