That's when he made a request to Shugo, who doted on him the most.

"First of all, there are many squirrels there, not just one, so how do you plan to determine which squirrel attacked you?"

Muzan hesitated, his expression extremely stifled.

"Secondly, how do you plan to get revenge on that squirrel?"

Hiiragi said slowly

Shugo lowered his head and continued reading his book, when a loud bang came from outside the door.

Shugo paused, putting down the book and getting up to go outside to check. As soon as he stepped out, he saw Muzan lying on the wooden plank at the corner.

Shugo's expression changed, and he quickly went over to pick up the dazed child and check on him.

"What happened?" Shugo turned to the guard behind him.

"It looks like...a cat?" the two guards said hesitantly. They had only seen a flash of orange and couldn't be sure.

Shugo immediately felt embarrassed for doing something wrong.

Of the entire Fujiwara Kita family, only he loved keeping cats, and his cats were the only ones that could roam freely.

Everyone in Heian-kyo knows that the eldest son of the Fujiwara Kita family loves cats and even makes all sorts of cat toys.

Muzan was unhappy; he felt uncomfortable every time he saw his biological father.

The grown-up Muzan is called hypocritical and will use various excuses to escape, but the current young boy can't do that, so he has to obediently go to see people tomorrow.
