The Journey to Godhood in Another World

With only two days left of the National Day holiday, at seven in the morning, sunlight streamed into the room through the gaps in the curtains, and Luo Li was peacefully playing chess with the Duke of Zhou in her dreams.

Suddenly, a rapid cell phone ring broke the silence.

"Ah Li, Ah Li, I'm about to board the plane. I'll arrive in Shanghai in half an hour. Hurry up and get ready to pick me up!"

Ling Wei's loud voice rang out over the phone without reservation, instantly chasing away Luo Li's drowsiness.

Ling Wei responded with a smile, then her gaze fell on Lin Weixi. Luo Li quickly introduced, "This is my roommate, Lin Weixi. She's a really nice person."

Lin Weixi greeted her with a smile, "Hello, I've often heard Luo Li mention you." Ling Wei, with her cheerful personality, took Lin Weixi's hand and said, "Haha, we're friends now!"

The two, who had similar personalities, quickly became acquainted, chatting and laughing along the way, and the topic of conversation unconsciously turned to Luo Li.

Ling Wei seemed to have opened a floodgate, telling Lin Weixi all of Luo Li's embarrassing past. Luo Li, feeling both ashamed and annoyed, pretended to glare at Ling Wei, saying, "Can't you give me some face?"

Ling Wei laughed without a care: "What's the big deal? They're just funny stories."

Ling Wei didn't have much luggage, just a small, elegant bag. Luo Li found a shopping mall near the airport, stored their luggage, and the three of them stood at the mall entrance, starting to plan their sightseeing itinerary.

The sun shines warmly on you, and the streets are bustling with traffic and people, creating a lively National Day scene.

"Let's go to the Bund first and experience the prosperity of Shanghai," Luo Li suggested.

Ling Wei and Lin Weixi both nodded in agreement. The three of them then hailed a taxi and set off for their destination.

In the taxi, Ling Wei sat by the window, gazing at the receding street scene outside. Suddenly, as if remembering something, she turned to Luo Li and asked, "Li, I've run into something troubling me lately."

Luo Li looked at her in confusion: "What's wrong?" Ling Wei frowned slightly, her eyes filled with a hint of struggle: "I've fallen for two boys at the same time, and I don't know which one to choose."

Luo Li was slightly taken aback after hearing this, then thought about it seriously for a moment and slowly said, "I think you should choose the second one."

Ling Wei fell into deep thought after hearing Luo Li's words, her eyes becoming somewhat unfocused. She lowered her head, her fingers unconsciously twisting the hem of her clothes, pondering Luo Li's words over and over again.

Looking at Ling Wei's expression, Luo Li thought that this was probably why she had come to find her. She hoped that Ling Wei could understand her own feelings.
