On the second day of the Lunar New Year, sunlight streamed through the thin curtains, falling on Luo Li's face and awakening her to the new day.

Luo Li listened quietly at the door for a while, her heart filled with bitterness. She took a deep breath, composed herself, and then gently pushed open the door to the ward.

"Teacher Cao, Mrs. Cao, I've come to see you." Luo Li said softly with a smile on her face.

Hearing the voice, Teacher Cao and his wife turned around. Upon seeing Luo Li, a hint of surprise flashed in Teacher Cao's eyes, followed by a relieved smile: "Luo Li, what brings you here? Please, have a seat."

The teacher's wife also mustered her spirits and greeted Luo Li, "Child, it's the New Year, and you still have to make this trip. You've really gone through a lot of trouble."

Luo Li walked to the bedside, put the gifts aside, and said, "Master's wife, please don't say that. It's what I should do. I was very worried when I heard that you were sick, so I thought I would come to see you as soon as possible."

Luo Li smiled and said, "Teacher Cao, please don't be so polite with me. The most important thing right now is your wife's health. As long as she can get better soon, that's more important than anything else."

The three of them chatted and laughed.
