Suanni said, "Then it's settled. Go back and focus on your cultivation, and try to come to heaven to play with me as soon as possible."

Lin Zhifeng: "..."

"Okay, I promise I won't slack off, don't worry." Lin Zhifeng made a vow to the lazy Suanni that he would never slack off, which even he found a little ironic.

The Suanni was delighted and said, "I'll let you out right now. I also need to hurry back to the Bodhisattva. I'm afraid he'll miss me if I stay out too long." Without waiting for Lin Zhifeng to prepare, it grabbed him with a large paw.

Lin Zhifeng felt dizzy and disoriented. When he came to his senses, he found himself meditating properly on the fifth floor of the pagoda.

He hurriedly looked up at the Suanni and found that it was still lying there sleeping peacefully, without even changing its posture.

Lin Zhifeng almost doubted that he was dreaming, and that the things in his dream were not real.

So how do we get through this? Lin Zhifeng, who had been a lion's slave for a year, was on the verge of losing his mind.

Fortunately, Longquan and the others also woke up at this time.

Longquan said to Lin Zhifeng, "Brother Lin, I just had a dream. In the dream, I was a young monk at Wenshu Monastery, and my daily routine consisted of feeding the Suanni (a mythical lion-like creature)..."

Longquan was still recalling his dream, but Lin Zhifeng was certain from his words that everything in the dream was real. "In that case, don't blame me for being impolite."

Lin Zhifeng leaped up and pounced on the Suanni, stroking its large head vigorously. The Suanni stopped pretending, flipped over and pinned Lin Zhifeng beneath it, licking Lin Zhifeng's face with its large, barbed tongue.

Lin Zhifeng laughed and covered his face with his hands, only to be licked squarely by a large tongue. The part of his arm that was licked immediately turned red. Lin Zhifeng didn't care and just kept laughing.

Longquan and the others stood there dumbfounded for a long time.

Longquan vaguely sensed something was amiss—in his recent dream, this man and lion were often seen frolicking like this. Could it be…

While Longquan was questioning his existence, Lin Zhifeng, having had his fill of commotion, finally remembered his business.

He hugged the lion's big head and whispered, "I'll definitely work hard when I get back and try to see you as soon as possible. You shouldn't be lazy anymore either, try to gain your freedom as soon as possible. We'll play together in the future!"

The Suanni didn't say anything, but just rubbed its big head against him.

Lin Zhifeng genuinely liked this big blue-maned lion, but he simply didn't have the means to do so!

What kind of person could keep a dragon as a pet? Especially since it has an owner, and that owner is a top-tier being like Manjushri Bodhisattva?

So Lin Zhifeng, no matter how reluctant he was, calmed down. He struggled to his feet, said a proper goodbye to Suanni, and then walked towards the steps that had been revealed without looking back.

Upon seeing this, the others hurried to catch up, leaving only Suanni standing there.

Suanni thought: Maybe I should go back this time and ask the Bodhisattva if there is any way to cultivate into a true dragon!

Longquan caught up with Lin Zhifeng on the stairs from the fifth to the sixth floor, but seeing that he was in low spirits, he didn't dare to ask any more questions.

He was actually very curious and wanted to know what his dream was all about.

That dream felt so real; in it, he and Lin Zhifeng were partners and developed a deep bond. Now, when he looks at Lin Zhifeng, he no longer feels the awkwardness he once had; instead, he feels like he's a brother he grew up with.

If everything in the dream was real, then it's no wonder Lin Zhifeng was so reluctant to part. In the dream, they were so close; after being together for so many years, how painful it must be to separate!

Longquan, who was unaware of his surroundings in the dream, believed upon waking that he was born and raised at Wenshu Monastery and had always lived there. Therefore, he assumed that Lin Zhifeng and Da Shizi had grown up together since childhood, leading to this misunderstanding. He then imagined numerous scenes of deep affection and even shed a tear of sympathy.

Lin Zhifeng was reluctant to part with it, but he rationally let go of this constraint and continued to look forward.

He knew that he would encounter many people and many things along his journey. Some people could only stay in his life for a short time. So he wouldn't force anything, letting everything take its course—not clinging to things when the connection ended.

Because he knew that if they were truly destined to be together, they would surely meet again someday.

The group walked to the entrance of the sixth floor, gently knocked on the door, and then opened the door of the six-story pagoda.

Inside the gate lay a vast world, with mountains and water. But the tower keeper, Bixi, was nowhere to be seen.

Lin Zhifeng cheered himself up and decided to become a qualified worker.

He cupped his hands around his mouth like a megaphone and shouted, "Senior Bixi, where are you? We are sent by the Divine Dragon Dynasty to find the sacred artifact. Could you please come out and meet us?"

Only the echo of Lin Zhifeng could be heard among the mountains; the bixi completely ignored his shouts.

Everyone was at a loss. Longquan came to Lin Zhifeng to ask, "Didn't you study the stories and legends about the dragon prince? Do you know the Bixi's weakness? How are we going to get past this?"

Lin Zhifeng carefully searched his memory for relevant information and could only recall that he was good at carrying heavy loads and had once single-handedly carried three mountains and five peaks. When he was young, he was also known for causing trouble and stirring up trouble.

Legend has it that Bixi once hindered Yu the Great's efforts to control the floods and was subsequently subdued by him. After that, the subdued Bixi transformed into a worker on the flood control project, diligently assisting Yu the Great in completing the great task and making outstanding contributions.

Unfortunately, Yu the Great has been dead for many years, and this Bixi has cultivated for so many years. Who can subdue him now? We can't very well go find his tortoise mother!

Lin Zhifeng said to Longquan, "Aside from his parents, Bixi only obeys Yu the Great in this life. But Yu the Great is a figure from the mythological era, where are we going to find him?"

Longquan said, "Our first emperor of the Divine Dragon Dynasty is said to be Yu the Great..."

Lin Zhifeng's history lessons at World History School didn't say it this way. Hearing Longquan say this, his mind was momentarily confused.

What kind of nonsense is this? The same characters are appearing in different worlds, how is this possible?

Before he could figure out the mysteries of time and space, a bixi carrying a huge stone tablet suddenly appeared in front of everyone.

This bixi's body resembles a tortoise, with a huge shell. Most of its body is black, except for its belly, which is yellow with brown patterns.

The biggest difference between the Bixi and the tortoise in appearance is its head and limbs.

His head and limbs are very similar to those of a dragon, clearly indicating that he inherited genes from his father.

The tortoise shell of the Bixi is flat, and a huge stone tablet is carried on its back.

The stone tablet is inscribed with many characters in hieroglyphics.

Lin Zhifeng guessed that these must have been carved by Yu the Great back then. It both praised Bixi's achievements in participating in flood control and morally restrained him from causing trouble elsewhere.

This alone shows that Yu the Great was a capable leader.

After the bixi (a mythical tortoise-like creature) leaped out, it landed directly in front of Longquan and asked, "Are you a descendant of Yu the Great?"

Longquan said, "That's what our dynasty's legend says. But it's all passed down orally, and there's no evidence."

Bixi said disappointedly, "I have been separated from Yu the Great since the flood was successfully controlled. If I had known that he would only live for a few more years, I would not have returned to heaven and would have stayed with him longer."

Lin Zhifeng seized the opportunity and said, "Senior Bixi, since you know the ancestors of Longquan, why not do us a favor and let us pass through the pass?"

Bixi said, "Are you really descendants of Yu the Great? Then I definitely can't beat you. After all, Yu the Great beat me like it was nothing back then. If I could beat him, I wouldn't have been forced to help him control the floods for so many years."

Lin Zhifeng thought to himself, "This is a beautiful misunderstanding!"

But it's a misunderstanding, so let him continue to misunderstand.

Unfortunately, before Lin Zhifeng could remind him, the naive Longquan asked stupidly, "Senior Bixi, wasn't Yu the Great just an ordinary human? How could he possibly defeat you back then? You are a dragon prince, a divine beast!"

Bixi was pleased to hear that the descendants of Yu the Great thought so highly of him, so he told these descendants about what happened back then.

He said, "Yu the Great was not an ordinary human being at all. In fact, he was my half-brother! I don't need to talk about our common father, but his other father—Gun—was actually a yellow dragon."

Lin Zhifeng raised his hand weakly to interrupt, "Excuse me, senior, did I hear that right? Yu the Great had two fathers?"
