The strongest astral army in Warhammer 40K

Chapter 82 Heretics Must Die 2!

Russell did not answer him directly, but instead replaced the battery for the Fire Kirin.

"Heretics must die!" he said.

This signaled the start of an attack, and the Kadian warriors began to prepare.

"Fire!" Russell shouted, then stood up from his bunker and opened fire on the heretics.

The Cadian warriors followed closely behind, and laser bullets engulfed the heretics.

Despite being overwhelmed by laser weapons, the heretics were incredibly resilient. Some survived being riddled with bullets and charged towards the Astral Army with strange cries.

"Blow them up!" The Astronauts threw all their grenades, and a series of explosions sent the heretics flying into the air.

A gigantic, bloated monster covered in tentacles, completely unfazed by the barrage of laser weapons and the explosions of grenades, moved mockingly toward the Astral Army, its enormous tentacles flailing wildly back and forth.

"This monster is unkillable!" exclaimed a Cardian warrior.

Russell's expression also turned grim. He had lost count of how many shots he had fired at the monster. The Fire Kirin was incredibly powerful; each shot could scorch the monster's flesh and blood, but the monster's flesh and blood could regenerate automatically.

Just when the Cadian warriors were at their wits' end, a loud bang suddenly came from the dome, and a silver-armored giant descended from the sky.

The newcomer was a Space Marine from the Silver Knights, wielding a bomb gun in his left hand and a chainsaw sword in his right.

The sudden appearance of the Space Marines greatly boosted the morale of the Cadian warriors.

The monster let out a roar, then brandished a tentacle and attacked the Space Marine.

The Space Marine reacted swiftly, swinging his chainsaw sword at the tentacle. The chainsaw mercilessly tore through the flesh, splitting the tough tentacle in two.

As the tentacles were severed, the bomb gun fired with a "bang," and the monster's head exploded.

Before the monster's head could recover, the Space Marine rushed forward and swung his chainsaw sword, severing its head.

The monster's enormous body crashed to the ground.

Monsters that the Star Guardians couldn't kill, the Space Marines easily took them down.

After killing the monster, the Space Marines chose to leave.

“Captain Russell, should we follow?” a Cardian warrior asked.

Russell shook his head and said: "The Space Marines have their mission, and we have ours. Now we need to get out of here."

After advancing for some time, they entered an open area.

This is a large hall, where a fierce battle has clearly taken place, with corpses of Astragalus, Orcs, rebels, and all sorts of other dead bodies scattered everywhere.

"Search around and see if there are any survivors?"

The Kadian warriors began searching everywhere.

"Captain, there's someone still alive!"

Russell quickly ran over, glanced at him, and said: "It's a political commissar, quickly help him up."

The political commissar was pulled up by two Kadian warriors. It was clear that the political commissar was seriously injured, covered in blood, and his face was so dirty that it was impossible to recognize him.

"Put him down quickly, he's dying."

Two Kadian warriors laid the political commissar down on the ground. After careful identification, Russell exclaimed in surprise: "It's Political Commissar Arrek! Quick, does anyone have a first-aid kit?"

"Captain, I have it."

Russell took the first aid kit, took out a sedative syringe, and injected Commissar Arreek in the chest.

"Quickly take off his shirt, his wound needs to be treated."

With the help of two Kadian warriors, Russell applied medicine and bandaged Commissar Arrek's wounds.

With the help of sedatives and emergency medication, Commissar Arrek's injuries have temporarily stabilized.

“We need to get him out of here, or he’ll die here!” Russell said, staring at Commissar Arek.

"But we have a mission, Captain Russell!"

Russell pondered for a moment and said, "Don't worry about the mission for now. You carry him and we'll leave this place."

Two Kadian warriors hastily made a stretcher, lifted Commissar Arek, and followed Russell away.

…………

The spacecraft crashed through the roof of the hive and entered the hive.

After the hatch opened, Aksu came out.

Aksu was lucky; he entered a den of thieves, a house teeming with hundreds of them.

When the cunning men discovered that it was a Space Marine, they became very excited and charged towards Aksu with a roar.

Aksu raised his Storm Shield and roared, "Come on!"

The first cunning one rushed forward, his sharp, giant claws slashing down.

Aksu's Storm Shield sent the cunning fellow flying, and with a powerful swing of his right-hand power axe, the cunning fellow was unable to dodge and was cut in two.

…………

Russell and his men, who were making a rapid retreat, ran headlong into a group of orcs.

A young orc roared and charged at Russell. Russell raised his Fire Kirin and fired a shot at the orc's head. The laser pierced through the orc's skull, and his strong body fell to the ground.

The battle between the two sides was about to break out, and dozens of orc boys, armed with crude weapons, charged towards the Astral Army.

"Fire!" In fact, even without Russell's order, the Kadian warriors had already opened fire, but the distance between them was simply too close. After the orc lads lost more than a dozen of their men, the two sides collided with a deafening roar.

Russell was also knocked to the ground by an orc boy, the force of the impact making him dizzy.

Russell finally managed to get up from the ground, then pulled out the Blood Drinker and thought to himself: These monsters are still so powerful.

He charged quickly toward an orc boy who had just punched a Kadian warrior flat and was in a berserk state.

Seeing Russell charging towards him, the orc boy roared and pounced on Russell as well.

Although Russell is already very strong, he is not confident that he can go head-to-head with the orc boy.

Just as the two were about to collide, Russell quickly dodged to the side. The orc boy, of course, wouldn't let him go and reached out to grab him. The Blood Drinker seized the opportunity and struck hard, severing the orc boy's arm in two.

The intense pain fueled the orc boy's ferocity, causing him to lunge at Russell with even greater recklessness.

Russell, still wounded, used the same trick to turn and dodge, then swung his shovel backhand. Soon the orc boy was covered in wounds and finally collapsed to the ground. Russell, of course, wouldn't let this good opportunity pass and chopped off its head with his shovel.

Although the orc boys were fierce, their numbers were too small, and they were wiped out one by one by the Kadian warriors.

Before they could celebrate for long, the surrounding walls collapsed with a crash, and a huge orc appeared before them.

The orc war leader appeared before them.

Seeing the formidable enemy before him, Russell almost gave up the desire to resist. His Blood Drinker couldn't even break through the plate armor of the orc giant, let alone the orc war leader.
