Chapter 77 Strange Gene Seeds?

Russell was like a kite with a broken string, soaring into the air and then crashing heavily to the ground.

"Fire!" The Van Grey squadron leader had already drawn his explosive pistol and fired at a motorcycle.

The Arbitrators squad was already impatient and opened fire wildly upon receiving the order, with crossfire forming a barrage that enveloped the speeding motorcycle vehicles.

The sound of explosions rang out continuously, and all the motorcycles that rushed over exploded, filling the entire tunnel with flames and thick smoke.

After the smoke cleared, a brief silence fell over the tunnel, but this silence did not last long.

A huge, red orc knight charged forward.

A giant Skull charged forward, riding a very powerful orc.

This orc is no ordinary orc; it is an ancient orc known as the "Giant Orc."

You can tell from their name that these orcs are taller and more savage.

The enormous spear, ten meters long, had a blood-red flag hanging from its tip, embroidered with a huge orc face.

The Orcish Giant Knight stands about 10 meters tall, making the Terminator Space Marines seem insignificant in comparison.

Aksu was very excited to see the appearance of powerful orc units; for him, slaughtering ordinary orcs no longer brought him any pleasure.

“This orc knight is mine,” Aksu declared loudly.

As he spoke, Aksu activated his power backpack and charged toward the orcish giant knight.

The orcish giant knight roared and charged toward Aksu. Sgug leaped and closed the distance by more than twenty meters.

Although Aksu was highly motivated to fight, he dared not underestimate the Giant Barbarian Knight.

Sgugh only took three leaps before rushing to Aksu's side, and the orcish giant knight raised his lance and thrust it at Aksu's heavy shield.

With a loud thud, the lance collided with the heavy shield.

Aksu was thrown away, and his giant shield was pierced.

The Van Grey Captain frowned deeply; he knew very well that now was not the time for one-on-one duels.

"Kill the orc knight!"

Dozens of Space Marines swarmed forward, unleashing a barrage of bullets at the giant orc, who screamed and fell off Sgugh.

The giant orcs without mounts were only slightly stronger than ordinary orcs, and were no match for the Terminators' siege.

Aksu was greatly surprised. He had not expected the giant barbarian knight to be so powerful. The spear almost pierced him. If it hadn't hit his shoulder armor, he might have been pierced through. This showed the power of the giant barbarian knight.

Even so, a large dent was pierced into the shoulder armor.

He had no objection to Van Grey's orders, and he knew that this was not the time for a one-on-one fight.

The most difficult to deal with is Sguger.

These enormous beasts have extremely tough fur and are incredibly resilient.

But faced with an attack by dozens of Space Marines, it had no choice but to die.

"There's no road ahead?" Van Grey quickly went forward to investigate, and sure enough, there was no way forward; it was all uncarved rock.

"Do we need to go back?" Aksu asked Vangre.

Van Grey waved his hand and said: No need.

"Captain Russell, send someone forward to check carefully and see if there really is no way out here. Remember to check carefully."

Russell agreed and immediately led his men to conduct a thorough inspection.

After a while, Russell ran back and said: "Commander, this should be an orc's storage room."

Van Grey nodded and asked: "Is there any way to open it?"

"I'll give it a try!" Russell figured that since it was a storage room, there must be a switch. After searching carefully, he found something that looked like a switch.

"Commander, there seems to be a switch here!"

"Step back, Terminator, step forward." Van Grey felt there must be some kind of trap here, and if there was, the Terminator would be safe.

A Terminator in the form of an Iron Cavalry walked up and pressed the switch.

With a scraping sound of rocks, a huge stone door was opened.

A chill swept over us, and surprisingly, the storage room turned out to be a huge freezer.

When Van Grey went inside, he found that the storage room was not large and was filled with ice blocks all around.

He glanced around and suddenly noticed a collection of iron boxes in the corner, numbering about a thousand.

Van Gret was very curious, picked up an iron box, opened it, and was shocked. He quickly said, "Aksu, come in."

Aksu hurriedly came in from outside.

"What do you think this is?"

"Gene seeds? How could orcs store gene seeds of Space Marines?" Aksu exclaimed in surprise.

Van Grey frowned and said, "The Orcs' ways are unfathomable. Heaven knows why they've collected so many Gene Seeds. There's something I don't understand: how did they collect so many Gene Seeds? Did they kill over a thousand Space Marines?"

"They must have stolen it. It's impossible that they killed a thousand Space Marines and took their genetic seeds, right?" Aksu must be right.

Van Grey nodded and said: "How exactly we obtained them is no longer important. Now, how should we deal with these gene seeds?"

Aksu smiled and said: "How about we split it between our two legions? This is a valuable asset."

A legion can be divided into 500 gene seeds, which means it can increase the number of space marines by several hundred.

Van Grey shook his head and said: "Although I also really want to get these gene seeds, it doesn't indicate which legion they belong to. What if they are from a traitorous legion?"

Aksu paused for a moment and said: Then we have no choice but to hand it over to the imperial high command.

"This is probably our only option!"

"All pharmacists outside, come in," Aksu called out to the pharmacists outside.

Three pharmacists walked in from outside.

"Check these gene seeds to see if they are still usable and if they have mutated!" The three pharmacists were also greatly shocked, never expecting that the orcs would store so many gene seeds.

Thanks to the efforts of the three pharmacists, all the genetic seeds were quickly examined.

"Company Commander, 95% of the genetically modified seeds here are usable, while some are unusable due to improper storage," the pharmacist reported truthfully.

"Is there any way to bring these genetically modified seeds back?" Aksu asked.

A pharmacist shook his head and said: This time I only brought 60 boxes containing gene seeds. I can only take 60 of them. As for the others, I can't take them for the time being.

"Could we take them away by freezing them, like the orcs did?" Van Grey felt there must be a way.

"Commander, we need specially made boxes to ensure the survival rate of the gene seeds during long journeys."
