The strongest astral army in Warhammer 40K
Chapter 70 Night Raiders
“Excellent. At this rate, we will soon be able to storm the hive and completely resolve this rebellion,” Commissar Arek said happily.
That's true in theory, but his opponents are never people who play by the rules.
"Squeak squeak squeak..." A strange sound suddenly came from Russell's communicator.
Commissar Arek asked in surprise: What's going on?
"Look!" Someone saw a different sky.
The once azure sky had turned blood red, and an unknown energy was violently churning.
Commissar Arek immediately recognized that this was the power of the warp.
The hurricane began to howl, sand and stones flew everywhere, and visibility was so low that no one could see their own hand in front of their face. The rear of the Star Guardian Army was thrown into chaos.
A strange person appeared out of nowhere at the rear of the battlefield.
This person hadn't expected to come here. He looked around curiously, everything around him felt unfamiliar, but soon he revealed a cruel smile.
Judging from his appearance, this person was very tall, nearly two meters, but his body was very thin. He wore a black suit of armor, which was different from human armor, which was wide and thick. This armor was very streamlined and aesthetically pleasing, and it looked like a tight-fitting suit on him. One thing that was puzzling was that his shoulder armor had sharp barbs. He wore a pointed helmet and held a black longsword with a red blade.
If Space Marines were here, they would recognize this person at a glance. The "Dark Elves," also known as Black Sprouts, are the grim reapers of the battlefield, the epitome of cruelty and ruthlessness.
What's really strange is why he's here? And there's only one of him?
This dark elf has a resounding name: "Night Raider!"
"Humans?" The Night Raider let out a cruel laugh and then vanished.
After the hurricane stopped, everything returned to normal. About a hundred Krieg guards were advancing in neat formation, completely unaware that death was looming over them.
The Night Raiders suddenly appeared in front of the Krieg Guards.
The Krieg guards were stunned; they had never seen a dark elf before. Just as they were in a daze, the night raiders disappeared.
Some of the Krieg guards thought they were seeing things, but suddenly they felt a chill on their necks and blood gushed out; the heads had already flown into the air.
Almost instantly, more than a hundred heads fell to the ground, and the corpses lay neatly arranged.
This scene was truly shocking, and many people around witnessed it.
"Enemy attack!" Before he could shout it out, his head flew off.
The Night Raider unleashed a bloody massacre among the Astral Army; his speed was incredible, and combined with his ability to become invisible, no one could stand against him.
One hundred, two hundred, three hundred... As more and more people were killed, panic began to spread among humanity.
Commissar Arreek and Russell also saw the chaos in the distance.
Russell picked up the Fire Kirin and was about to rush over when Arek grabbed him and said, "Don't go. Going there will only cost you your life. There must be a terrifying enemy there. We need the Space Marines' support."
"Company Commander Aksu, a formidable enemy has appeared in the rear camp. He has already killed more than two thousand Star Realm soldiers!" The political commissar's voice came through Aksu's communicator.
Aksu's expression immediately turned serious as he said, "Received. I'll go down and provide support."
The Night Raiders' slaughter continued, with more and more people dying by their blades.
A Thunderhawk fighter jet roared past and slowly landed on the ground. After the hatch opened, Aksu, dressed in the Iron Cavalry Terminator uniform, stepped out, followed by a squad of Arbitrators.
Aksu, who had just come down, saw corpses all over the ground. The corpses were all dismembered, and the wounds were clean. He quickly realized that only the Spirit Race could do this.
“Be careful, everyone, it’s the Adalings!” Aksu shouted.
When the Space Marines appeared, the Night Raiders stopped slaughtering mortals; killing these ordinary people was meaningless to him.
Now the Space Marines have arrived, and he has set his sights on them.
Almost all the Space Marines here had fought against the Eldar and knew they were formidable opponents, so they were all on high alert.
When Night Raiders fight Space Marines, they must kill them with a single blow, because Space Marines will not give them a second chance. However, killing a Space Marine is not an easy task.
The Night Raiders did not launch an attack immediately but instead hid.
His decision not to attack is wise; the arbitrators are all very close together now.
Aksu looked around but didn't see any Aidalings. He knew these despicable hunters must be hiding. These guys were very patient; he had to find a way to lure them out.
"Everyone, spread out and search, but be careful, the Aidalings are all around you." Aksu directed the arbitrators to disperse.
The arbitrators, of course, understood why the company commander was doing this, and they dispersed to search. While searching, they remained extremely vigilant, as the Adalin tribe's sneak attacks were always fatal.
An Arbitrator warrior was looking around when a Night Raider suddenly appeared behind him, its sharp blade aimed at his neck.
The moment the Night Raiders appeared, the Arbiter Warrior seemed to have eyes in the back of his head. Astartes' senses were many times greater than those of ordinary people, and he could sense even the slightest movement or breeze behind him.
He suddenly turned around and saved the Astartes' life, his sharp longsword plunging close to the terracotta armor on the Astartes' neck.
The slingshot fired repeatedly, but the Night Raider vanished without a trace.
"He's here! He's a dark elf!" the Arbitrator warrior shouted.
The arbitrators moved closer, firing their explosive guns incessantly as they approached. They weren't just firing randomly; they were forming a firepower blockade.
A burst of blood exploded in the air, proving that a bomb had grazed the Night Raider.
"He was bleeding, and he fired while looking at the bloodstains." Aksu saw that tiny patch of blood.
The scanning filter on the Astartes helmet immediately began tracking the drops of blood falling from the Night Raiders.
Sure enough, a drop of blood would appear on the ground from time to time, and the Astartes would fire based on the location of these drops.
The grenades kept firing, and the Night Raider could only keep moving and dodging. He dared not relax; if he was even a quarter of an hour slower, he would die here today.
