On Baal's battlefield, the Hive Will was finally extinguished.

A dozen or so hive overlords burst forth from the swarm of insects. Their bodies were as massive as mountains, their carapaces covered with ancient runes and psionic patterns. Every step they took caused the earth to tremble, as if proclaiming their terror.

However, the most terrifying creature was the colossal Insect Saint. Its body stood tens of meters tall, its carapace covered in corrosive slime and psionic patterns. It spewed psionic breath, each strike carrying devastating power. Its target was clear—Russell.

Russell weaved through the swarm of insects, his golden whip flashing like two golden lightning bolts, each strike carrying devastating power. A hint of madness flickered in his eyes, as if telling every insect soldier that their doom had arrived.

"Insect Saint!" Russell's roar echoed across the battlefield as he lashed out with his golden whip, splitting the head of a Tyrannical warrior in two.

The Insect Saint's gaze locked onto Russell, and it unleashed a psionic breath imbued with the power of a nuclear bomb. The psionic breath, carrying destructive force, hurtled straight towards Russell.

Russell's eyes held a resolute glint; he knew this was his last chance. His golden psionic energy surged wildly within him, like a sun about to burst forth. He thrust his hands out forcefully, channeling all the psionic energy in his body into his hands, attempting to withstand the Insect Saint's psionic breath.

"Boom!" A deafening explosion echoed across the battlefield as golden psionic energy collided with the Insect Saint's psionic breath, unleashing a blinding light. The entire battlefield was engulfed by the shockwave of the explosion, and the Zerg soldiers were reduced to ashes in the light, their flesh and carapace completely vaporized.

When the light faded, Russell's figure had disappeared.

"Russell!" Arya's voice rang out, and her psionic shield quickly deployed, attempting to protect Russell. However, Russell had vanished without a trace, as if he had never existed.

Cato Sicarius appeared beside Arya, his voice tinged with anxiety: "Russell... how... how is he?"

Arya shook her head gently, her voice trembling slightly: "I don't know... but I believe he must still be alive."

Dante's voice came through the communicator, his tone heavy: "All units, continue the fight! Russell bought us time; we cannot let his sacrifice be in vain!"

In the aftermath of the earth-shattering explosion, thick smoke and dust filled the battlefield. The Insect Saint lay on the ground, his carapace riddled with cracks, corrosive slime oozing from his wounds. However, Russell had vanished from the epicenter of the blast. Everyone assumed he was dead; even the Hive Will began to readjust its tactics, preparing to utterly destroy the Imperium's defenses.

However, Russell did not die at the epicenter of the explosion. The Emperor's Blessing Amulet released its full psionic power at the last moment, forming a sturdy shield that barely withstood the Insect Saint's psionic breath. However, the amulet itself shattered completely in the impact, turning to dust. Russell's body was slammed deep into the ground by the immense force of the impact, and he fell into a coma.

The situation on the battlefield took a sharp turn for the worse. Without Russell's suppression, the Zerg offensive became fierce again. A dozen or so Hive Overlords and countless Zerg soldiers quickly surrounded Dante and his warriors. The Blood Angels, Ultramarines, and the remnants of the Astral Army were trapped in the Zerg swarm, and their situation was extremely precarious.

"Damn it!" Dante slew a Hive Overlord with his power axe "Mourning," but his stamina was nearing its limit. His gaze was heavy, as if telling every warrior that they had no way out.

Cato Sicarius swung his power sword, slaying several Zerg guards that tried to approach, but his voice carried a hint of anxiety: "Lord Dante, we're surrounded! If this continues, we won't last much longer!"

Arya's psionic shield quickly deployed, attempting to protect the warriors. A hint of despair flickered in her eyes, but even more so, unwavering resolve: "We cannot give up! Russell... he must still be alive!"

Just as despair was setting in, a piercing whistling sound suddenly echoed from the sky. A golden Thunderhawk gunship descended from the heavens, its surface adorned with the Imperial Skyhawk emblem, gleaming brilliantly. The gunship's hatch slowly opened, and six Imperial Guards emerged.

The Imperial Guards were tall and imposing, their golden armor covered in ancient runes and psionic patterns. They wielded massive halberds and power swords, their gazes cold and sharp. Their very presence seemed to send shivers down the spines of the entire battlefield.

"The Royal Guard..." Dante's eyes held a mixture of shock and hope. "The Emperor... has not abandoned us."

The lead guard approached Dante, his voice deep and powerful: "Commander Dante, we are here to provide support on the Emperor's orders. Where is Russell?"

Dante's gaze was heavy: "Russell... he disappeared in the battle with the Insect Saint. We... we don't know if he's still alive."

A cold glint flashed in the eyes of the Imperial Guard: "Russell is the Emperor's envoy; he will not fall easily. We will find him."

Before the words were even finished, the Imperial Guards had already charged into the swarm of Zerg. With each swing of their halberds and power swords, the Zerg soldiers were torn apart like paper. Their movements were swift and decisive, without the slightest hesitation.

"All units, follow the Imperial Guard, break out!" Dante's voice echoed across the battlefield as his power axe, "Mourning," crackled with electricity as it slashed at the Zerg soldiers.

Kato Sicarius followed closely behind, slaying several Zerg guards that tried to approach with a swing of his power sword. His voice carried a hint of mockery: "Looks like we still have hope!"

Arya's psionic shield rapidly deployed, attempting to protect the warriors. She was certain: "Russell... you must live..."

Meanwhile, at the epicenter of the explosion, Russell's body was buried deep underground. His consciousness floated in the darkness, as if in an endless void. Yet, his golden psionic energy still surged within him, as if telling him that his mission was not yet complete.

“Russell… wake up…” a deep, authoritative voice echoed in his mind, “Your battle… is not over yet…”
