The strongest astral army in Warhammer 40K
Chapter 103 Living with Beasts
When Russell got up from the ground again, he realized that he had no chance of winning without using the Serpent Soul. Of course, he couldn't use the Serpent Soul under any circumstances! The Serpent Soul could only be used once a day. Even if he defeated this big orc, the orc leader was still watching him closely. This guy seemed very smart.
He didn't have much time left. The giant orc pounced on him, its huge fist coming straight at him.
Russell didn't have time to think and raised his right fist to punch the orc giant's fist.
The two fists collided with a muffled thud, and Russell, no match for the orc's immense strength, was sent flying.
The giant orc followed Russell relentlessly. Before Russell could get up again, the orc had already rushed over, grabbed Russell's calf, and hurled him away. Russell was thrown like a stone and crashed into the wall.
The orc boy let out a cheer.
"This human shrimp is no good!"
"He is very strong, but he is no match for the big guy."
"He might never be able to get up again after this fall!"
The orc boys started talking about it.
The big orc strode toward Russell, thinking Russell was finished. But before it could reach Russell, the tenacious human shrimp actually stood up again, albeit shakily.
The big orc nodded and said: "Kid, you're pretty tough, aren't you?"
Russell wiped the blood from the corner of his mouth and laughed: "What's this? Let's continue."
After saying that, Russell roared and pounced on the enemy.
The big orc didn't dare to be careless and swung his fist at Russell.
This time, Russell was smarter. He didn't dare to punch the big orc again, turned around to dodge its attack, and grabbed one of the orc's legs.
"Ah!" Russell used all his strength to try to knock down the big orc.
The giant orc smiled slightly and slammed it down. Russell was so exhausted that he almost collapsed.
"You've lost, human!" the orc roared, then swung his fist and slammed it down on Russell's back.
With a loud thud, Russell was knocked to the ground by a heavy punch. Before he could get up, the big orc stepped on his back, and no matter how much he struggled, he couldn't get up.
Finally, Russell admitted: I lost, and I accept the loss, but if we were to use weapons, I might not necessarily lose.
The big orc thought for a moment and said: I admit, if you had a weapon, I would have failed at the very beginning.
The orc was well aware that the armor on its knees was weak, and the human's weapon was extremely sharp; once the human flanked it, it would be unable to resist.
While they were talking, the big orc pulled Russell up.
Russell picked up the Bloodthirster and the Power Axe and walked up to the orc leader, saying: I lost. For the next three months, I will follow your orders, but during these three months, I cannot attack my own people.
The orc leader laughed: Of course, I don't need you to fight humans or canned goods. I'm planning to organize a revenge war in three days, and you'll need to participate.
Russell nodded and asked: "Avenge against whom?"
"Another tribe, you should know about it."
After hearing what it said, Russell understood. It must be that Black Flag tribe. Russell didn't care what tribe it was. All he wanted to do was "become stronger".
They were very well prepared for this attack. Russell was assigned to the orc leader's team, and he had already earned the orcs' respect. No one objected to the new leader's arrangement.
A set of rough orcish armor fit Russell quite well; he didn't like orcish weapons, so he didn't choose any.
In order to quickly defeat the new leader, he decided to launch a surprise attack on the enemy, stating that he must not show any mercy and kill them all.
Three days later, there were two hundred burly orcs, more than 500 orc warriors, and thousands of orc lads—this was almost their entire strength.
Although there were quite a few people here, the new leader still felt uncertain about winning. It knew very well that the enemy tribe had not experienced the baptism of two wars, so there was only one way for them to win: to quickly kill the enemy's "new leader".
Of course, the new enemy leader is not easy to deal with. Only by taking him by surprise can this mission be completed. Neither he nor any other big orc can complete it. Only that human can complete this assassination mission.
Firstly, in terms of height, the human would look like a young orc and wouldn't attract the attention of the enemy orc leader, thus allowing for a surprise attack. That was the plan, with Russell following the big orcs to charge towards the enemy leader and carry out the assassination.
Russell fell silent as he looked at the camp before him. There was no way to fight this battle. These orcs were far stronger than them. This was evident from the walls; their walls were dilapidated wooden fences, while this one was made entirely of piled stones.
That's not all; every section of the wall has a watchtower, with flames burning on top, and several orc warriors watching over everything outside.
Russell could see very clearly that the walls were not only filled with countless orc warriors, but also with countless cannons and heavy machine guns; a rash attack would be suicide.
"What should we do?" the new orc leader asked Russell, unsure of what to do.
Russell frowned slightly and said: You are the boss, you should make the decisions.
"Is it all my fault for not investigating properly?" the orc leader muttered to himself.
Russell wanted to laugh, but didn't. He said, "So what should we do now?"
The orc leader was stumped by the question and thought for a while before saying, "I really have no idea right now. You humans are so cunning and always come up with a good idea. Can you think of a better one?"
Russell said helplessly: Okay, I'll think about it for you.
Sure enough, Russell came up with a plan and said to the orc leader: "If I'm not mistaken, there must be a drainage outlet in this city wall. We can plant explosives there, blast a breach, and then rush in to wreak havoc."
The new orc leader laughed and said, "Good idea! I'll send some men to search along the city wall and see if there's a place to drain water."
Soon, an orc boy discovered a ditch with foul-smelling water flowing through it.
Upon hearing the orc boy's report, Russell immediately said: "This is a good place. If we can plant the explosives properly, we can definitely blow open a section of the city wall."
The orc leader turned to look at Russell and said, "Let's go take a look. We can't completely trust what the kid says."
This time it learned to be more cautious.
Russell nodded and followed the orc leader to the stinking ditch.
