This is a huge underground city, but it is unlike any structure I have ever seen before.

There isn't even any similar structure.

This place doesn't resemble a village with a clear building structure, nor does it resemble an ancient underground city in the Deep Realm, where everything is made of stone pillars.

The structure here is more like the ruins in the main world that are buried underwater by sand and gravel, except that the structure here is relatively more well preserved.

The most easily identifiable features are the arches built with water-stone bricks and stone bricks, as well as many houses.

These houses are more like bunkers and watchtowers.

It gives people a very solemn and dignified feeling, unlike a normal village that looks peaceful and tranquil at first glance.

As Shi Qian walked around, he noticed the sea lanterns lining the roadside, which added to the atmosphere.

He also saw several fountains, but unfortunately, the water inside had long been frozen into ice.

However, ice fountains do have a unique kind of beauty.

The place where Shi Qian is now is not the center of the city, and there are not as many sea lanterns here as he saw the center point from the air.

Although the top of this underground cave is about the same size as the pool formed by the boiling spring, it does not mean that the location of the boiling spring is the center of this place.

The area behind him looked like a plaza and crop fields, but it was underground...

Shi Qian didn't know what crops were there, so he decided to check what was in the brightest spot first.

It's not too late to go when you get back.

The lava had already flowed onto the ground, and Shi Qian could see it as soon as he turned around.

The dazzling orange beam of light stood out starkly against the dim light of the underground cave.

The further you go into the center, the fewer the building structures there are, but the larger the overall size becomes.

Shi Qian also entered a house, but unfortunately, there didn't seem to be any treasure chests there; everything had vanished with time.

All that remains are these hammered and cut stone bricks, and the sea lanterns, perhaps because their composition comes from a relatively mysterious guardian, can still provide a stable light source after so long.

The larger houses clearly show divisions between work and living areas once you step inside.

Further into the city, Shi Qian passed through a very long corridor. The corridor was not low, and the fountains outside could be clearly seen through the holes in the columns.

After passing through a huge archway, Shi Qian saw a building that was both relatively novel and familiar.

Along the way, more and more Shanghai crystal lights appeared, eventually converging at the center.

The building in front of us resembles an altar, with four massive stone pillars curving from all sides toward the center.

It looks a lot like the teeth of some kind of creature, converging towards the center.

Each stone pillar has a sea lantern attached to its exterior from the bottom up, outlining the pillar's shape.

Shi Qian felt it looked familiar because, looking at the internal stone pillar structure, it resembled the temple in a fan fiction work he had read in the original world called "Song of War".

That's where the Adonis used to activate the power of Go.

However, it's important to know that this world doesn't have any of the creatures from fan-made works that belong to its original world.

Not to mention War Song, even HIM doesn't have it.

And he has never heard of any player named Steve or Alex.

These two can be considered the "kings" representing players in Minecraft fan art.

If they don't appear in this world, it means this is a completely separate timeline related to Minecraft.

Shi Qian is still very much looking forward to seeing how this world will develop, after all, the stories within it...

No one has told this story yet.

In the center of the altar is a 3x3 square table. The outermost square on each side has been replaced with carved stone bricks, and there is one in the very center.

Each of the five stone bricks had a new block that he had never seen before placed on it.

White Crystal Rock

This doesn't look like a texture that's just been changed to a different color from amethyst; instead, it looks very much like a real crystal, with a translucent quality that extends from the inside out, and is even somewhat semi-transparent.

It was the first time Shi Qian had ever seen such a beautiful cube. He couldn't help but tap it twice, wanting to hear if its sound was as clear and melodious as amethyst.

But this tap caused a problem.

The four outer white crystal rocks and the one in the middle kept flashing and lit up alternately.

The shimmering white light grew stronger and stronger, slowly radiating outwards in beams.

The cave was no longer filled only with the lava released by Shi Qian and the lights from the sea lanterns in the city. The pillar of light from the white crystal rock slowly rose upwards, reaching all the way to the top of the cave.

Then it begins to spread outwards until it illuminates the entire cave.

The light was strong, but not dazzling.

After the entire cave was illuminated, the flickering stopped and remained in its current state.

The light was so strong that it reflected throughout the entire cave, making even the houses behind it clearly visible.

Shi Qian could barely see his own shadow; this was the first time he had ever seen anything like it.

Who knew that just hitting a random rock could cause this...

However, the existence of such an anomaly proves that this underground city is definitely not something simple.

Built so deep underground, this place would never have been discovered if it had been in the ocean before.

Because this is a very deep place below the seabed, no marine life would dig down to such a place.

In addition, the architectural style here is highly defensive, so the creatures that used to live here were probably quite powerful.

Therefore, the probability of being discovered is extremely low.

However... some doubts remain.

Shi Qian leaned back against the table and began to think.

The houses here are still severely damaged.

If we compare this village to a zombie village, we can say that this village is even more abandoned than a zombie village.

Based on the current state of the world being explored, the timeline of the creatures that built and live here is estimated to be even earlier than that of the Ancient Guardians.

This is clearly unreasonable...

For the marine life here, the ancient guardians were the earliest creatures to exist in this dimension.

In those murals, the "gods" did not create this place, but instead transformed it into an ocean and a snowfield.

Therefore, these creatures, or rather the timeline here, are completely out of sync.

unless...

The creatures that exist here predate this dimension.

But that's even more illogical. If this dimension doesn't exist, then they don't exist either.

There is only one possibility: this place has always existed in this dimension.

But not in the current dimension, but as a relic left behind by the "previous era".

Are dimensions reused?

The previous era, the ocean era of the guardians of the great dolphins, must have been very different...

Shi Qian kept his head down, deep in thought, unaware that the place was beginning to change...
