"Be careful, it might be a trap," Li Ming said warily.

Just then, the mansion gate suddenly slammed shut, and countless black threads surged from the ground, wrapping around them. Zhang Peng and the others quickly cast spells to defend themselves, their multicolored light, sword energy, and magical light intertwining in an attempt to sever the black threads.

However, the black threads were inexhaustible and extremely resilient, making their attacks seem to have little effect. Worse still, as time went on, they discovered that these black threads contained a strange power that was gradually eroding their spiritual energy.
