Dapeng's Time Travel Life

Behind Qingfeng Gate, the mountain was tranquil and secluded, with towering ancient trees blocking out the sun, and a thick layer of fallen leaves piled up on the ground, making a "rustling" sound when stepped on. Zhang Peng, Lin Wan'er, and Su Yao proceeded cautiously, and as they gradually approached the ruins, an ancient and mysterious aura filled the air.

"This is it," Su Yao said softly, pointing to a cave entrance hidden by vines.

Zhang Peng stepped forward, gently parting the vines. The cave was pitch black, with only a faint glimmer of light. He took a deep breath and stepped into the cave first. Lin Wan'er and Su Yao followed closely behind. The three of them groped their way forward in the darkness, their magical artifacts emitting a faint light that illuminated the path ahead.

The cave was filled with a damp atmosphere, and the walls were covered with strange runes, seemingly telling a story of a forgotten history. As they walked, the space suddenly opened up, revealing a huge stone chamber. In the center of the chamber stood a large stone platform, upon which rested a box radiating multicolored light.

"Could the treasure be inside?" Lin Wan'er asked in a low voice.

Zhang Peng didn't answer. He cautiously surveyed his surroundings, sensing an inexplicable eeriness about the place. Just then, Su Yao suddenly exclaimed, "Watch out!"

Suddenly, a group of enormous spiders emerged from a corner of the stone chamber. Their bodies were covered in black hair, their eyes gleamed with blood-red light, and they spat out sticky spider silk as they pounced on the three of them.

"It's a Black-Striped Demon Spider!" Su Yao's expression changed drastically. "These demon spiders are extremely venomous; we must not be harmed by them!"

Zhang Peng swiftly drew his longsword, channeling his spiritual power to slash at the demonic spiders. However, the spiders were too numerous, advancing relentlessly without showing any sign of retreat. Lin Wan'er also used wood-based magic to summon vines, attempting to block the spiders' attacks.

"This can't go on. We have to find a way to break through and get the treasure on the stone platform!" Zhang Peng shouted.

Just then, a gigantic demonic spider fell from the cave ceiling, lunging straight at Zhang Peng. Unable to dodge in time, Zhang Peng was entangled in the spider's silk. The spider opened its blood-red maw and snapped at him.

"General!" Lin Wan'er cried out in alarm and rushed forward without hesitation. Just as the demonic spider was about to bite Zhang Peng, Lin Wan'er used her own body to block the spider's attack.

"Miss Lin!" Zhang Peng was frantic with worry. He struggled desperately and finally broke free from the spider silk. The long sword in his hand shone brightly, and he killed the demonic spider with a single strike.

"Miss Lin, how are you?" Zhang Peng picked up Lin Wan'er and found that her shoulder had been bitten by a demonic spider, and the wound had begun to turn black, clearly indicating that she had been poisoned.

Su Yao rushed over and took out a jade bottle from her bosom: "This is an antidote pill, quickly give it to Miss Lin!"

Zhang Peng took the jade bottle and fed Lin Wan'er the antidote. After a while, Lin Wan'er's complexion gradually regained some color, but she was still very weak.

"It's all my fault, I dragged you into this," Zhang Peng said remorsefully.

Lin Wan'er forced a smile: "General, don't say that... We came here to find the Five Elements Spiritual Objects, we can't give up."
