Dapeng's Time Travel Life

This dark creature, bursting forth from the energy vortex, was as massive as a mountain, surrounded by a thick layer of black mist. Eerie red lights flickered within the mist, like the gaze of the abyss. Its body was covered in twisted scales, each scale resembling an independent dark world, radiating a chilling aura. Its head was triangular, and a pair of enormous, vertical red pupils revealed endless ferocity and brutality. From its gaping maw, serrated fangs gleamed coldly, as if capable of easily tearing anything apart.

"Be careful! This is a Dark Star-Eating Beast, extremely troublesome!" The Dawn Star System Guardian warned loudly with a solemn expression. Its voice echoed in this core area filled with violent energy, but was instantly drowned out by the howling energy turbulence.

Zhang Peng gripped the Star Sword tightly, its blade gleaming and resonating with the surrounding stellar power. His eyes held no fear, only a burning fighting spirit. "Perfect timing!" he roared, unleashing the "Starry Universe Mysterious Ruler Power - Fusion Burst." Three powers surged within him, converging on the Star Sword, causing its light to surge and transform into a dazzling beam of starlight, slashing towards the Dark Star-Eating Beast.

The Dark Star-Eating Beast roared, swinging its massive claws to meet Zhang Peng's attack. Claws collided with the Star Sword, unleashing a deafening roar. Powerful energy surges radiated wildly outwards from the point of impact. The surrounding stars flickered violently, as if threatened with extinguishment. Zhang Peng was thrown backward by the recoil, arcing through the air before barely regaining his footing. His arm trembled slightly, his tiger's mouth split open, blood slowly trickling down the sword, but his gaze grew ever more resolute, fixed intently on the Dark Star-Eating Beast.

"The power of this Dark Star-Eating Beast is truly astounding!" Zhang Peng exclaimed inwardly. He knew that to defeat this powerful dark creature, he had to go all out. He concentrated, using the power of the stars and mysterious forces to try and sense the Dark Star-Eating Beast's power fluctuations and find its weaknesses. In the fierce battle, he discovered some tiny gaps between the Dark Star-Eating Beast's scales, where the power was relatively weak. An idea struck him, and he decided to start his attack from these gaps.

Zhang Peng unleashed the "Starry Phantom Step," his figure moving like a phantom, rapidly shifting around the Dark Star-Eating Beast, constantly seeking an opportunity to attack. Whenever the Dark Star-Eating Beast attacked, he skillfully dodged, then seized the chance to counterattack. His Star Sword repeatedly pierced the gaps in the Dark Star-Eating Beast's scales; although each attack only caused minor damage, these small wounds gradually appeared on the beast's body.

Enraged by Zhang Peng's attack, the Dark Star-Eating Beast roared furiously, its black mist blazing brightly, coalescing into a powerful dark force that swept towards Zhang Peng. Sensing the strength of this power, Zhang Peng immediately activated "Starry Sky Mystic Guardian Light - Ultimate Defense Form," a multicolored shield instantly appearing in front of him to withstand the impact of the dark force.

Protected by the shield, Zhang Peng focused his mind and mobilized all the power within him. He fused the power of the stars, the mysterious power, and the power of the universe's origin to their extreme, preparing to launch the final attack. "Starry Sky Mystic Universe Dominator Power - Ultimate Judgment - Strongest Burst!" Zhang Peng roared, and the Star Sword in his hand shone brightly, transforming into a dazzling meteor, carrying boundless power and an aura of destruction, piercing towards the chest of the Dark Star-Eating Beast.

The Dark Star-Eater seemed to sense the deadly threat of this attack. It tried to dodge, but due to its enormous size and slow movement, it was too late. The Star Sword, carrying Zhang Peng's conviction and power, pierced fiercely into the Dark Star-Eater's chest. "Boom!" With a deafening roar, the Dark Star-Eater's body was instantly torn apart by the powerful force, turning into countless black mists that dissipated into the void.

Zhang Peng let out a long sigh of relief. His body was exhausted, but his eyes were filled with the joy of victory. He had successfully defeated the Dark Star-Eating Beast and could finally retrieve the Star Shield. He slowly walked towards the Star Shield, which floated in the center of the energy vortex, each step filled with anticipation.

The moment his hand touched the Star Shield, a powerful and warm force surged into his body, resonating with his own power. The golden light on the Star Shield shone even brighter, as if telling of its antiquity and power. Zhang Peng felt the stellar power contained within the shield; this power was pure and strong, perfectly merging with the stellar power within him, further enhancing his strength.

"I finally got the Star Shield!" Zhang Peng said excitedly. He slung the Star Shield over his shoulder and turned to look at the Dawn Star System Guardian. "Thank you for your help. Without you, it would have been very difficult for me to obtain the Star Shield so easily."

The guardian smiled slightly, "You're welcome. You saved me, it's what I should do. Besides, you're protecting the entire universe, so it's my honor to be able to help."

Zhang Peng nodded. "Next, I need to find the Mysterious Staff and the Heart of the Universe. Do you have any clues?"

The guardian pondered for a moment and said, "I have heard that the Staff of Mystery is sealed in a mysterious dimensional space, filled with all sorts of strange creatures and powerful restrictions. As for the Heart of the Universe, it is said to be hidden in the deepest part of the universe, guarded by a mysterious force, and its exact location is unknown."

Zhang Peng's heart sank. He knew the search would be even more arduous from here on out. But he showed no sign of backing down; instead, his resolve only strengthened. "No matter how difficult it is, I will find them!" He clenched his fist, his eyes gleaming with unwavering determination.

Having bid farewell to the guardians of the Dawn Galaxy, Zhang Peng departed the core region of the Dawn Galaxy. Standing in interstellar space, gazing at the vast universe, he was filled with a sense of mission. He knew he was one step closer to stopping the forces of darkness, but even greater challenges awaited him. He took a deep breath, used his interstellar travel technique, and flew towards the direction of the mysterious dimensional space…
