Dapeng's Time Travel Life

Zhang Peng and the black-robed immortal crashed heavily to the ground, kicking up a cloud of dust. Zhang Peng's body felt like it was falling apart; every bone in his body seemed to groan in pain. Blood dripped from the corner of his mouth, staining the ground red. His clothes were tattered, and his disheveled hair obscured his face, which was filled with exhaustion and determination. The black-robed immortal was in no better shape. His black robe was torn to shreds by the impact of the energy, revealing his battered body. His mask had also fallen off in the collision, revealing a twisted and ferocious face, his eyes filled with shock and resentment.

"What... what kind of power is this..." the black-robed immortal said with difficulty, his voice trembling. He never imagined that Zhang Peng could unleash such powerful strength in this desperate situation.

Zhang Peng endured the excruciating pain in his body and slowly stood up. His eyes were firm and fervent as he stared intently at the black-robed immortal, his gaze seemingly telling him that the battle was far from over. The black-robed immortal gritted his teeth, a ruthless glint in his eyes. He struggled to his feet, gathering the last of his strength, preparing for a final, desperate struggle.

Just then, a multicolored light suddenly appeared in the sky, accompanied by melodious celestial music. This light and music seemed to possess a magical power, instantly freezing the black-robed immortal's movements, a hint of fear and confusion appearing in his eyes.

Zhang Peng also raised his head and looked up at the sky, his heart filled with surprise. He sensed a mysterious and powerful force contained within the light, a force that resonated subtly with the new power within his body.

The light grew brighter and brighter, and a figure slowly emerged from it. It was a woman dressed in colorful fairy robes, her face exquisitely beautiful, like a fairy descended to earth, radiating a gentle yet powerful aura. "Why are you fighting here?" The woman's voice was like heavenly music, echoing in the air, yet it carried an irresistible majesty.

The black-robed immortal was pale-faced. He knelt down with a thud, "Greetings, Immortal Venerable. I... I was merely following orders."

Zhang Peng was startled; he hadn't expected the woman before him to be a Celestial Venerable. He quickly bowed, secretly wondering about the Celestial Venerable's purpose.

The black-robed immortal lowered his head, not daring to speak. Zhang Peng, however, mustered his courage and said, "Immortal Venerable, these Starry Spirit Pearls are of utmost importance to me. I must collect all three to find a way back to my homeland."

The Immortal Venerable was slightly taken aback, a hint of curiosity flashing in her eyes, "Returned to your hometown? Where do you come from?"

Zhang Peng then recounted his experiences from Earth, his journey to the cultivation world, his ascension to the immortal realm, and his unwavering desire to return to Earth. The Immortal Venerable listened with a touch of emotion, "I never imagined such a wondrous thing could happen in this world. Very well, seeing your sincerity, I will lend you a hand."

As he spoke, the Immortal Venerable waved his hand, and a beam of light shot towards Zhang Peng. Zhang Peng felt his injuries rapidly heal and his strength greatly increased.

The black-robed immortal felt as if he had been granted a pardon. He quickly got up, transformed into a black shadow, and disappeared into the distance.

The Immortal Venerable looked at Zhang Peng and said with a smile, "I know the whereabouts of the third Star Radiance Spirit Pearl; it is at the entrance of the Star Abyss. However, the Star Abyss is fraught with danger, so you must be careful on your journey."

Zhang Peng was overjoyed and quickly said, "Thank you for informing me, Immortal Venerable. No matter how dangerous it is, I will give it a try."

The Immortal Venerable nodded. "I have a celestial talisman here that can save your life in a critical moment. Please keep it safe."

Zhang Peng accepted the celestial talisman and thanked the Immortal Venerable once more. He knew he was one step closer to returning to Earth, and the Abyss of Stars would be his final challenge…
