After Gohan's death, Trunks and Goten were defeated by the Saiyan leader who had descended to Earth. This Saiyan leader possessed the Super Saiyan 6 transformation. After Super Saiyan 4 Gotenks was defeated and disintegrated, he did not kill the two. Instead, he waited for Vegeta to return and, in front of Vegeta, unhesitatingly used his strongest form to kill the two unconscious men.

In a state of extreme rage, Vegeta transformed into Super Saiyan 5 at full power, losing all control of his reason.
