The Legend of the Strongest Saiyan
Chapter 208 Cell of Hell
Sun Wukong used Instant Teleportation to arrive at the Yama Palace.
"It's the same as always. Every day, the souls of the dead line up. I wonder if Lord Yama has time to help me out."
In the Yama's Palace
King Yama printed out the destination of one soul and looked at the next soul.
"Well, you're not bad. You're filial to your elders, law-abiding, and have never committed any major offenses in your life. Although you've made some minor mistakes, you've also done great good deeds. I'll send you to heaven."
The spirit, overjoyed at hearing Yama's judgment, bowed deeply to express its gratitude; this scene was witnessed only by Yama.
"Okay, next one."
After the previous soul ascended to heaven, the next soul arrived in front of Yama, the King of Hell, in the main hall.
Yama, the King of Hell, found the soul's life story in the Book of Life and Death on his large table. After reading it for a while, he arranged the soul's fate.
"Song...you killed an ordinary student who was striving for a peaceful life because of a fish...As a teacher, you acted worse than an ordinary child. Go to hell and repent."
As soon as Yama finished speaking, two ghost soldiers came up and took the soul away.
After a while, Sun Wukong arrived in front of Yama, the King of Hell.
When Yama saw Sun Wukong, he thought the other party was dead again. However, due to his duty, he still went to look up Sun Wukong's life story.
Sun Wukong understood that Yama was checking whether he would go to heaven or hell, so he said directly, "Lord Yama, no need to look, I'm here to go to hell!"
"Um?!"
When Yama heard Sun Wukong's outrageous statement, he blinked repeatedly before realizing that Sun Wukong was not dead.
"Sun Wukong, why do you want to go to hell? You're not dead, and I can't just send a living person to hell; even the dead are not an option."
Sun Wukong didn't want to say much, so he brought up Beerus, the God of Destruction. When he heard that it was Beerus who had assigned Sun Wukong the task, King Yemma, in order to protect his own life, readily agreed to Sun Wukong's request.
In Hell
Cell gazed listlessly at the distant hellish landscape.
“If Frieza can be resurrected day after day, I believe I have the same chance, so it is impossible for me to easily obey and be reincarnated.”
A gust of wind swept past Cell, and a familiar voice rang in his ears.
"Cell, do you want to be resurrected?"
Cell heard Goku's voice and calmly turned around. "I wonder what brings you here, Goku... You wouldn't happen to be here to revive me, would you?"
"If that's really the case, then after I'm resurrected, I'll let you experience a thrilling battle. How about you consider resurrecting me?"
Cell said seriously that he knew Goku's personality well, and that Goku was indeed capable of reviving him, or at least had a chance of doing something that sounded absurd.
Instead of immediately responding to Cell's words, Goku talked about Cell's strength.
"Cell, you've been in Hell for so long, and you haven't improved your strength at all."
Cell completely ignored Goku's words and bluntly said, "You should know that you can't improve your strength in Hell. Otherwise, would those ambitious guys who died billions of years ago have been willing to reincarnate?"
"Only those who possess a physical body in Heaven can cultivate and improve themselves in the world of death."
"Haha, you seem to know quite a lot, Cell."
"Alright, if you have something to say, just say it. Don't ramble on like that."
Sun Wukong asked, "Don't you want revenge?"
"You are practically immortal now. As long as you're in hell, I can't kill you. And I'm a living person. Don't you want to try?"
Cell turned around: "You suppressed your aura and look very ordinary, just like before. But I don't believe your strength has stagnated. After all these years, as a Saiyan, your strength should have risen to a level that I can't match. If you wanted to, I might not even be able to survive in my current state."
Cell is still so clever. If Frieza dies in hell, knowing he can't die and that I'm alive and will be killed, he'll definitely keep haunting me.
Cell was also wondering why Goku had gone to Hell. He wasn't that stupid to think it was just to make fun of him about his strength.
Furthermore, since Goku had initially asked if he wanted to be resurrected, Cell had already figured things out. The clearest thing was that his only chance to be resurrected lay in Goku's attitude today, or rather, his own attitude.
With Piccolo cells and cells from various races, Cell possesses exceptionally high intelligence, making him one of only two super warriors who combine strength and wisdom.
As Cell was pondering Goku's purpose, Goku activated his ancient Saiyan bloodline and evolved into Super Saiyan 6 in one breath. A powerful energy wave was released from his body, and layer upon layer of invisible energy caused violent turmoil in Hell, Yama's Palace, and Heaven.
Cell sensed Goku's ki, and his soul dimmed slightly in front of Super Saiyan 6 Goku. He was certain that if he were alive and standing next to Goku, the pressure released would be enough to knock him unconscious, or even allow Goku to use the pressure to explode his body.
That's terrifying! Is this all the power Sun Wukong has right now?! How did he even manage to do that?!
After transforming into Super Saiyan 6, Goku quickly suppressed the savage and violent aura within him.
Lying on the floor of the Yama King's Palace, Yama looked at the scattered souls and sighed helplessly, "Wukong, can you please stop exploding your energy on my floor? I can't take it... I really can't take it."
"Sharu, if I give you a month, can you reach my level?"
When faced with Goku's question, Cell learned from Goku's words that Goku's condition for reviving him was that he had one month to raise his strength to Goku's level.
Cell said with certainty, "My strength in Hell has not increased, but my mental strength is no less than yours, and may even be higher. If I were to be resurrected and train for a month, I would not be able to surpass you 100%, but I would at least be tens of thousands of times stronger than I am now."
Having the cells of countless top-tier powerhouses, Cell was quite confident in his talent. In addition, since he had never trained before, he didn't know how effective his training would be.
"Alright, you can wait in Hell for a while. I'll go back and collect the Dragon Balls to revive you. But a month later, you'll have to come with us to participate in the Universal Tournament. If you can defeat me and Vegeta, then the victory is yours."
Cell knew he had no choice but to accept, so he readily agreed.
"I'll participate."
