Three burly men walked into the tent; the one who had spoken earlier was the big man at the front.

"Ji Mohan, I knew you'd pull this stunt, trying to hog everything! Luckily we arrived in time, or you would have succeeded."

"General Song, General Luo, and General Liu, what brings you here?" Ji Mohan asked.

General Song said, "We heard that the 'Six-Six Great Success' team from Mingxi Sacred Academy came here for training. We waited for ages, but you not only took them away, but you also brought them under your command. We don't agree to that. We're all top-tier, we're capable too! Why should we give them to you?"

Ji Mohan smiled, a hint of smugness in his voice: "So you guys came here to steal my people? That night, they even took my token. They're mine now!"

General Luo glanced at the token in Ji Mohan's hand and quickly pointed out, "It hasn't been taken yet. Isn't the token still in your hands?"

Before he finished speaking, he immediately retrieved his token from his mental space and, without waiting for Chu Qiuchi and the others' consent, shoved it into their hands. After doing so, he gave Ji Mohan a smug look, "Now they're mine!"

Upon seeing General Luo's actions, Ji Mohan was both amused and exasperated, and cursed, "You bastard, you're shameless!"

He then hurriedly stuffed his own token into the hands of Chu Qiuchi and the others.

Seeing this, the other two generals were not to be outdone and followed suit, each taking out their tokens and stuffing them into Chu Qiuchi's and the others' hands.

Chu Qiuchi and the others looked at the several tokens that had suddenly appeared in their hands, and were at a loss for what to do.

Looking at the bewildered children in front of him, Ji Mosen shook his head helplessly. "Do any of you have any semblance of generalship? You're acting like bandits, forcing people to buy and sell! You're making a fool of yourselves with the children!"

General Liu immediately chimed in, with a mix of joking and seriousness: "Commander, you have to give us a chance to prove ourselves! Let's compete fairly! We're no worse than General Jimo, you can't show favoritism!"

General Song and General Luo quickly chimed in, "That's right, that's right! Commander, you can't show favoritism. Everyone should compete fairly!"

Ji Mosen glanced at the generals, rubbed his temples, and then turned to Chu Qiuchi and the others, asking gently, "Kids, these generals each lead a top-tier team. Which general would you prefer to join?"

General Luo immediately chimed in, with a hint of urgency: "Yes, we are all generals of the front-line battle teams, just like Ji Mohan! My soldiers were thrilled to hear that you were coming and are especially looking forward to your joining us."

General Song quickly added, "You speak so quickly! My soldiers are just as eagerly awaiting your arrival. You are very popular in all the war zones, and everyone has been waiting for a long time!"

General Liu nodded in agreement: "That's right, you all know why. No matter which team you choose to join, you will be warmly welcomed!"

Chu Qiuchi pulled the others aside and they discussed the matter in private.

She then walked up to the generals, her tone both polite and decisive: "First of all, I am very grateful for your kind invitation. After discussion, we have come up with a solution that satisfies both sides. I wonder if it is feasible!"

The generals asked in unison, filled with curiosity, "What method?"

Ji Mosen also showed a curious expression: "Tell me, how can it be the best of both worlds?"

Chu Qiuchi paused for a moment, then said clearly, "We have a total of two years of training in the war zone. Now, all four generals want us to join their respective teams. No matter which one we choose, the other generals will be disappointed. So we propose that we take turns training under each general for six months. This way, we can satisfy the generals' invitations and also learn different experiences from each general. I wonder if this method is feasible?"

Upon hearing this, Ji Mosen laughed heartily, his eyes flashing with approval: "What a clever little fellow! Generals, what do you think?"

The generals exchanged glances, and General Song then spoke up: "We think this proposal is good and acceptable. Let's go with it!"

Seeing this, Ji Mohan quickly replied, "Then let's start with me. I've already told them that I'll take them out for reconnaissance and training tomorrow."

General Luo wasn't going to be outdone: "Then I'll be second."

General Song followed closely behind: "Then I'll be the third."

General Liu concluded by saying, "Alright, then I'll be last."

After some discussion, Ji Mohan led them to his camp area and arranged a nearby tent for them. He explained in detail the precautions for the war zone and the daily training tasks, then let them rest.

Inside the tent, five small beds were neatly arranged, signifying that they would be living together in this space. After a tacit discussion, they quickly arranged the beds: Chu Qiuchi in the middle, Chu Yichen to her left, Puyang Minghui to her right, while Nalan Xingyao and Ji Moyu slept at opposite ends.

Faced with this rudimentary environment, Chu Qiuchi secretly rejoiced that they had learned cleaning magic before coming here, otherwise even washing up would have been a problem.

No wonder the academy training requires a magic level of Grand Mage. It's not just for safety, but also for convenience!
