On Saturday, after they finished rehearsing in the practice room, one of the boys suggested that they all have a meal together, since they had been practicing together for a week and were now friends.

Everyone agreed.

Ning Yi said somewhat awkwardly, "Well, I don't have much time today. I have plans with someone else. You guys go ahead, we can go together another time."

"Oh, that's such a pity," Tan Qinqin said from the side.

Another boy, Xue Ze, looked at Ning Yi and said half-jokingly, "Then let's have a get-together after our performance goes smoothly. Can we book a time now?"

Ning Yi smiled and said, "Of course."

As soon as Ning Yi stepped out of the practice room, Li Man quickly followed her, saying with a grin, "Going out on a date?"

“Yes, it just so happens that he’s not too busy with work lately, so we can meet up,” Ning Yi replied.

Li Man asked curiously, "You came to pick you up at the school gate? Let me see who you are!"

Hearing this, Ning Yi's heart tightened, and she quickly said haphazardly, "He won't pick me up at the school gate. His car had a bit of a problem on the way here, so I'll just take a taxi to find him."

Li Man pouted: "Alright then, we'll see it another time."

After finishing her business, Ning Yi hurried off the campus.

When she saw Ji Yan's car, she quickly crawled inside.

"I'm here," Ning Yi said with a smile as she closed the car door and looked at Ji Yan.

Ji Yan met her gaze, a smile in his eyes: "Why are you running so fast?"

Ji Yan took a delicate bag from the side and handed it to Ning Yi: "These are the raspberry shortbread cookies you wanted."

Ning Yi saw the logo on the bag and said in surprise, "You bought it from Chef Laoshi?"

Ning Yi had eaten there twice before, once when Li Man bought it for her, and the other time when she bought it herself.

Chef Chef's is a very famous chain dessert shop. There are always long queues, and you might not even get to finish them all by the time you get there. She really likes their raspberry shortbread cookies.

I mentioned it to Ji Yan when I was with him before, and I didn't expect that Ji Yan would actually remember it and go and buy it.

Ji Yan helped her open the packaging bag: "Didn't you say this was delicious last time? Try it!"

Ning Yi was touched: "So you queued up by yourself?"

Ji Yan took out a cookie and held it to Ning Yi's lips: "Hmm, there will be fewer people in winter."

Ning Yi was shocked by the thought of Ji Yan queuing up to buy her cookies in the dead of winter, especially since he was a public figure and it was such a risky move...

Ning Yi took a bite of the cookie that was handed to her, then reached out and took it, saying happily, "This is the best I've had today!"

Ji Yan smiled indulgently.

"Where do you want to go?" Ji Yan asked.

Ning Yi said while eating, "Where do you want to go..."

"I kind of want to go to the aquarium."

Then she suddenly remembered something and said, "It seems a bit inconvenient, let me think about it again."

“If you want to go to the aquarium, we’ll go,” Ji Yan replied.

Ning Yi was taken aback: "Huh? But the aquarium is crowded, it won't be convenient for you. It's okay, I'll think about it some more."

Ji Yan reached out and wiped Ning Yi's mouth: "It's okay, I'll contact a friend of mine. He owns an aquarium, we can clear it out."

Ning Yi was a little embarrassed by this action, and then said, "So extravagant? Are you just clearing out the whole place?"

Ji Yan smiled and said, "Yes, it takes about twenty minutes to get there. There aren't too many people there, but they have everything you need."

Then Ji Yan made a phone call to explain the situation and then hung up.

Ji Yan said to her, "My friend said we should go over in another hour and a half."

Ning Yi nodded obediently: "Okay."

Ningyi wanted to get something to drink, so they went to a place that served afternoon tea and chose a corner seat.

Ning Yi looked at the menu, pointed, and said, "How about we order two soufflés?"

"What would you like to drink? Juice or milk tea?"

Ji Yan replied, "Let's have some juice."

Ning Yi nodded and said, "Two matcha-flavored soufflés, one orange juice, and one mango juice."

"I don't want mango juice, I'll have orange juice instead," Ji Yan said after thinking for a moment.

Ning Yi was a little surprised, then nodded: "Okay, I'll go order then."

Ningyi returned to her seat after ordering.

"Why did you decide to try something different today?" Ning Yi asked curiously.

"Seeing that you like to drink it, I wanted to drink it too," Ji Yan said.

Ning Yi smiled happily upon hearing this.

After having afternoon tea, Ji Yan drove to the aquarium owned by his friend.

Ji Yan got out of the car and took Ning Yi's hand as they went inside.

"Ah Yan, long time no see!" Chen Ji stood up and greeted Ji Yan with a smile when he saw him arrive.

Chen Ji noticed Ning Yi beside Ji Yan, then glanced at their clasped hands, raised an eyebrow, and said, "No wonder you came to my aquarium; so you're on a date with your girlfriend."

Ji Yan smiled and patted Chen Ji on the shoulder with his other hand: "It's been a long time. How have you been?"

"Not bad. You know I opened this aquarium on a whim, and business is usually alright." Chen Ji took out a pack of cigarettes from his pocket and gestured to Ji Yan to smoke.

He waved his hand to indicate that he didn't need it, then introduced Ning Yi: "This is my good brother of over two years, Chen Ji."

Ning Yi nodded, smiled, and said to Chen Ji, "Hello, my name is Ning Yi."

"My girlfriend," Ji Yan continued.

Ning Yi couldn't help but look up at Ji Yan. This was the first time Ji Yan had said in front of others that she was his girlfriend...

Chen Ji couldn't help but tease, "Tsk tsk tsk, are you trying to make me feel like I'm being fed dog food?"

Then Chen Ji greeted Ning Yi warmly, saying, "Hello! You look so young!"

Then Chen Ji glanced at Ji Yan and said with some surprise, "You didn't date a minor, did you?"

Upon hearing this, Ning Yi quickly shook her head and said, "No, no, I'm an adult, I'm already nineteen."

“I’m turning twenty this year,” she added.

Chen Ji said half-jokingly, "Ah Yan, I didn't expect you to target a young girl!"

……

After Chen Ji left, only Ning Yi and Ji Yan remained in the aquarium.

This was Ning Yi's first time visiting an aquarium without anyone else, and she felt like the entire aquarium was hers to enjoy.

In the dim light, they were shrouded in blue shadows.

Ning Yi stepped forward, gently placed her hand on the glass, and interacted with one of the dolphins inside. She exclaimed happily, "Brother Ayan, come and see! This dolphin seems to understand human speech!"

Ji Yan stepped forward, stood in front of the glass, and looked over. It was a little dolphin, as if it were playing with them, circling around them.

Ning Yi couldn't resist picking up her phone and starting to record a video.

After the dolphins swam away, they continued their stroll.

"Brother Ayan, let's take a group photo," Ning Yi said, raising her phone.

Ji Yan chuckled softly, "Okay."

Then Ji Yan took the phone and stood next to Ning Yi, moving closer to her. Ning Yi felt that they were so close that if she turned her head, she could kiss Ji Yan's Adam's apple.

Ning Yi couldn't help but feel her heart race as she leaned against Ji Yan, inhaling his unique scent.

"Xiaoyi, look at the camera," Ji Yan reminded him.

Then Ning Yi immediately turned her attention to the camera.

Sure enough, Ji Yan is a professional; he knows how to find the best angle for a group photo.

They took several photos, and Ning Yi looked at the pictures on her phone with satisfaction: "Looks like I'm one of the lucky audience members today, I got to take a photo with a big star!"

Ning Yi was a little envious when she saw others being chosen to go on stage and take photos with Ji Yan, but now she's not envious at all.
