The web series I'm currently auditioning for is called "Farewell Song of the Frontier," and the original novel was quite popular a few years ago.

It has amassed a considerable fan base and is an ancient political intrigue novel, with the story mainly revolving around the male protagonist.

The male protagonist is named Gao Zhi, who was originally the crown prince of the Southern Kingdom.

His mother, Empress Qin, came from a powerful family, and his maternal grandfather, Qin Yanzhuang, was a famous minister who helped establish the dynasty.

The founding emperor, Gao Jin, enfeoffed him as the King of Huainan, making him the first non-royal king to be enfeoffed since the founding of the Southern Kingdom.

However, as time went on, the King of Huainan grew more ambitious and even demanded that the emperor marry his daughter, Qin Suyao, as his empress.

The King of Huainan held military power, and it is no exaggeration to say that he conquered half of the southern kingdom.

How could one tolerate another snoring on one's own bed? And so, day after day, this accumulated.

The King of Huainan became a thorn in the heart of the Southern Emperor, something he couldn't remove, yet which often caused him unbearable pain.

Qin Yi and the female lead, Yu Wenwan, met at a brokerage firm. Qin Yi was originally a member of a collateral branch of the Prince of Huainan's mansion.

He was gentle and kind, and his conduct was upright and polite. His talent was also outstanding among his peers.
