Through persistent efforts, Zhu Wuyao finally mastered the basics of flying on a sword.

But she could only float forward steadily, unlike Ye Xiaozhou who could sometimes be far ahead and sometimes flip and jump.

In short, flying on a sword was merely a means of transportation for Zhu Wuyao, and a form of entertainment for Ye Xiaozhou.

Zhu Wuyao stepped onto the sword, took out a map, unfolded it against the wind, gestured for a while, and said:

"It will arrive tomorrow morning."

Ye Xiaozhou came to her side, glanced at the map, and suggested:

"There's a group of people up ahead, shall we go and take a look?"

"Ok?"

"When practicing divination, one must naturally follow the natural course of events!"

Zhu Wuyao glanced at Ye Xiaozhou with a hint of suspicion, only to see her eyes full of anticipation, as if she couldn't wait any longer.

What kind of fate could make Ye Xiaozhou so overjoyed?

After walking a distance, not only Ye Xiaozhou was looking forward to it, but even Zhu Wuyao's eyes lit up.

The group of several dozen people had lit a campfire and were drinking and eating meat. Even before they got close, the aroma of meat was irresistible. It seemed they had hunted something good and had even brought their own salt and other seasonings.

An outdoor barbecue, what a coincidence!

Ye Xiaozhou and Zhu Wuyao took their luggage out of their storage bags, disguised themselves as ordinary travelers, and went to pay their respects.

The person leading this group was an older woman surnamed Mu.

She noticed that besides their group, there were also two young women in this desolate wilderness, which surprised her.

After scanning the two men up and down, they didn't look like weary travelers at all.

Having traveled all over the country for so many years, Sister Mu has seen a lot of things. Several guesses flashed through her mind, and in the end, she guessed it to be pretty close to the truth.

"It is fate that we met here. We are all heading to Boruo City. If it's on our way, why don't we travel together?"

Beruo City?

Zhu Wuyao was slightly surprised. If she remembered correctly, this seemed to be a very remote city. It might take half a year to get there from here.

It truly lives up to the phrase "traveling all over the country".

"Sister Mu, we will stop at the next city. We don't know when we will set off yet, so we dare not delay your journey."

"It was just a chance encounter tonight, and I saw the fire and the lively atmosphere, so I came to pay my respects!"

As he spoke, Zhu Wuyao conscientiously handed over the money to pay for the food and lodging for the night.

Sister Mu reached out and refused the money, saying nonchalantly:

"It's nothing serious. You two should rest assured and travel together tomorrow."

"Dazhuang! Take these two girls somewhere and get them some hot food to warm them up!"

Zhu Wuyao and Ye Xiaozhou were able to get a free meal in a very respectable way.

This group of people seemed to have many skills, including not only reselling but also performing arts, lion dancing, and escorting goods.

Ye Xiaozhou filled a large bowl with wine, leaned against Zhu Wuyao, and drank it with his head tilted back. Zhu Wuyao looked down and poked at the embers, occasionally moving the meat skewered on the flames to make it roast more evenly.

"There is a Foundation Establishment cultivator in this group to keep watch."

Upon hearing Ye Xiaozhou's words, Zhu Wuyao stopped sifting through the sparks.

So this group is no ordinary people. The people who accompany the escort team in an ordinary escort agency are only at the Qi Refining stage, and they are going from Nanli City to Boruo City, which is quite a long distance.

It may not contain any treasures from the cultivation world, but it is definitely a treasure from the mortal world.

"We're just here to freeload a meal," Zhu Wuyao replied softly.

Aren't you curious about what kind of treasure it is?

“I’m not curious. If it’s something common, it’s bound to be disappointing; but if it’s something precious, Sister Mu has treated us to drinks and meat, so we can’t just try to snatch it, or we’ll only add to our regret.”

"That makes sense. Did you use the 'Fate-Binding' skill?"

After leaving Zhongling City, Zhu Wuyao would always use the game of chess to find traces of old friends in every village, town, and city he passed through.

Unfortunately, he hasn't been to many places, and there's still no news from him.

Upon hearing this, Zhu Wuyao glanced around and said in a low voice:

"I plan to use it after I enter the city tomorrow. These people don't seem to like reading storybooks, so it's unlikely to work on them."

The next morning, before we even set off.

Ye Xiaozhou said mysteriously to Zhu Wuyao:

You'd never guess what they were transporting!

Zhu Wuyao followed Ye Xiaozhou's gaze and saw a carriage that was wrapped up very tightly.

"Could it be a person?"

Ye Xiaozhou scoffed, "If they were people, what's so strange about that? They're just transporting ordinary water."

This is truly unheard of.

Zhu Wuyao used his imagination to its fullest extent. Could it be that there is some mysterious spring in their city of Boruo, which requires the collection of water from various water veins in the Mosang Continent, and once the water is collected, the spring spirit can be summoned?

Before she could speculate further, she saw Sister Mu come out with a gong-beater. With a few gong sounds, everyone woke up.

Sister Mu called out, "We're about to enter the city, everyone be alert!"

Then he waved to Zhu Wuyao and Ye Xiaozhou and said, "Come on, get in that carriage. They're going to start a lion dance soon, it'll be quite a mess."

The two responded and nimbly boarded the carriage.

I never expected that not only did I get to eat meat yesterday, but I also got to join the lion dance troupe today. How could I miss such a lively event?

The carriage they were riding in followed Sister Mu, who was beating a drum.

The drumbeats played by Sister Mu were not those of the Lion Dance Three Star Drum; they sounded like drumbeats unique to their group, more for conducting purposes.

The two men, Dazhuang and Erzhuang, became the lion heads of the red and yellow lions respectively. As soon as they passed through the city gate, they heard the sound of the Three Star Drum. As soon as the drum sounded, the entire lion dance team immediately got into position.

They weren't a proper lion dance troupe; at most, they knew a bit about the unwritten rules of the trade. Wherever they went, they could liven up the crowd and earn some money for their travel expenses by performing.

Zhu Wuyao noticed with her sharp eyes that the vehicle transporting the water had broken away from the group, but she didn't pay much attention to it.

As more and more people gathered around, Zhu Wuyao quietly drew the seal for forming a bond. Before he finished drawing, a commotion came from the opposite side where the lion dance was taking place.

As she finished the last stroke, she looked up and saw another lion dance troupe coming from the opposite direction, their three-star drums beating with exceptional liveliness and prowess.

The two lion dance teams met on a narrow path.

Sister Mu hurriedly called out, "Did Old Ge go or not? Press down the lion's head! Press down the lion's head!"

Old Ge was seen holding a visiting card and walking in a square stride to clear the way, as was the lion dance team opposite him.

Zhu Wuyao felt it inappropriate to stand up in the carriage. Leaving the group now seemed like a bit of a nuisance, and they hadn't even said goodbye properly yet, so he could only suppress his curiosity and sit quietly.

Ye Xiaozhou didn't care whether she was causing trouble or not. Ignoring the older sister's attempts to stop her, she jumped down to watch the fun.

The kind lady next to me explained:

"Our lion dance team was only recently formed, and we don't quite understand many of the rules yet. But if two lion dance teams meet, they must lower their lion heads as a sign of courtesy."

"Otherwise, the lion raising its head would be considered a provocation."

Sitting in the car, Zhu Wuyao looked behind him and asked, "Why is the other side raised even higher?"
