Yu-Gi-Oh!: Phobic Peptide Mad Dragon Executioner Dragon

Chapter 145 The Rise of the Emperor (3)

The Great Sun deck is quite weak.

Despite being a Synchro deck, the Special Summon points of this archetype are pitifully few.

Other decks can at least have a complete endgame or a decent finish when they normally play, but Dainichi can't play at all when it normally plays; the maximum endgame is very cool, but without adding other cards, it is impossible to have the maximum endgame with the deck itself.

(While other decks from the same DT universe have received buffs and new cards, some even receiving repeated buffs, it's unclear when Konami will remember the Great Sun deck.)

To win the duel, you must add other components.

As for cheats...

"The effect of the Great Sun Element is not once per turn! Therefore, when an Equip Card with 'Great Sun' in its name that is on my field is destroyed, Special Summon up to the same number of Tuner Cards with 'Great Sun' in their name that are destroyed from my Deck to my field!"

"Both 'Great Sun Fragment' and 'Great Sun Component' have the same Graveyard effect: If this card, which is face-up on the field, is sent to the Graveyard, add 1 Spell Card with 'Great Sun' in its name from your Deck to your hand!"

C1 is the element of the Great Sun, C2 is a fragment of the Great Sun.

"I add the 'Great Sun' Spell Card 'Great Sun Thread' to my hand from my Deck, and Special Summon a third Great Sun Cube from my Deck."

Another large solar cube emerged from the "door".

Dainichi Cube ATK800

Just when Ampri thought Ment was going to continue repeating the effect cycle of the Great Sun Elemental Equip Card, the two Great Sun Cubes on the field suddenly emitted points of light that only appear when Xyz Special Summoned.

"When a monster Special Summoned by the Elemental Effect of 'Great Sun' is used as Synchro Material, Synchro Summons cannot be performed using monsters whose names do not contain 'Great Sun'. However, this does not restrict me from performing other Summons. Therefore, I stack two Level 3 Great Sun Cubes on my field to Xyz Summon a Level 3 'Lost X-Swordsman Summoner'!"

Lost X-Swordsman, Summoner ATK 1600

"Lost X-Swordsman's effect: Once per turn, remove 1 Xyz Material to activate this effect, then Special Summon 1 Level 4 Warrior or Beast-Warrior EARTH monster from your Deck in Defense Position!"

Ampri remained inactive.

"Using this effect, I Special Summon a Level 4 Warrior-Type EARTH monster from my Deck in Defense Position: Amazon Shooter!"

Amazon Shooter DEF1000

An unremarkable humanoid elf, the kind that would be hard to spot among a group of strangely shaped monsters.

On the field, Ampri didn't notice anything amiss, but someone off the field spotted a blind spot.

"Isn't this a banned card? When was it released?"

They couldn't recall the specific effects, and although they had doubts, they assumed that the card was too ordinary to cause any significant impact when it was released, to the point that they didn't even know when it was unbanned.

It seems that it will be some time before the human world realizes that the "balance" has disappeared.

"I activate the Equip Spell Card [Great Sun Thread] targeting Alpha Sun on my field, but due to the effect of the Staff of Tranquility, the effect of Great Sun Thread activated targeting Alpha Sun is negated and destroyed."

Mente started the effect loop again, omitting some of the process, and soon, three more Great Sun Monsters appeared on his field.

【Dairi Prism】ATK1500 (x3)

"Amazon Archer effect: Free up my X-Swordsman and one of my Sun Prisms on the field to deal 1200 damage to you."

The X-Swordsman and the Great Sun Prism decomposed into points of light, which transformed into arrows that fell into the hands of the Amazon archer.

The Amazon archer aimed an arrow at Ampri and fired, but the arrowhead struck Ampri's pectoral muscle and bounced off without causing any pain.

"If this card, Great Sun Prism, is sent from the Monster Zone to the Graveyard, pay 500 Life Points to equip this card as an Equip Card to my face-up Alpha Great Sun Equip on the field."

Mente LP8000→7500

"However, due to the effect of the Staff of Silence, the effect of the Great Sun Prism, which is used as an equipment card, is nullified and destroyed."

Before the Great Sun Prism could even touch the Alpha Great Sun, it was shattered by the ripples emanating from the Staff of Silence.

"When any of my face-up Equip Cards with 'Great Sun' in their name on the field is destroyed, the Great Sun Elemental Effect is triggered again, and I Special Summon a 'Great Sun' Tuner Monster from my Deck: [Great Sun Sphere]!"

Big sun sphere ATK400

"Amazon Archer's effect is not available once per turn! Free up one Sun Prism and one Sun Sphere on my field to activate this effect, dealing another 1200 damage to you!"

The Amazon archer drew his bow again and aimed at Ampri.

Ampri nodded slightly. "I see. By repeatedly summoning the Amazon archer with a deck that doesn't have a special summon every turn, you're trying to achieve an FTK through effect damage?"

The idea is good, but it's not enough.

"I send the Effect Veiler from my hand to the Graveyard, and then target the Amazon Archer on your field. Negate the Amazon Archer's effects until the end of this turn."

C1 Amazon Shooter, C2 Effect Masker, Chain Reverse Processing.

The veiled one spread its wings and embraced the Amazon archer, blocking her vision and causing the arrow to miss its mark.

"...The effect of the Great Sun Prism is not once per turn, while the Great Sun Sphere has the same effect. Therefore, if the Great Sun Prism and the Great Sun Sphere are sent from the Monster Card Zone to the Graveyard, each of them is paid 500 Life Points as Equip Cards to Alpha Great Sun."

Mente LP7500→6500

"Afterwards, the two Sun Prisms were destroyed by the effect of the Staff of Silence, triggering the Sun Elemental effect. I Special Summoned two Tuner monsters with 'Sun' in their names from my Deck: two [Sun Spheres]."

Big Sun Sphere ATK400 (x2)

Mente fell into deep thought.

Amazon Shooter is nullified, so FTK (First Strike) is impossible. He remembered that Emporium's Emperor Deployment required repeatedly activating monster effects…

In that case, the plan has changed.

"Materials required: 1 or more LIGHT Attribute Tuners and 1 non-Tuner monster. I will upgrade the Level 4 Sun Prism (Tuner) and the Level 4 Amazon Archer (Non-Tuner) to Synchro Summon the Level 8 [Epsilon Sun]!"

Epsilon Dainichi ATK2800

"Pay 500 Life Points again, use the Great Sun Prism that was just sent to the Graveyard as Synchro Material to equip Alpha Great Sun as an Equip Card. Due to the effect of the Staff of Silence, the Great Sun Prism is destroyed again, triggering the effect of the Great Sun Elemental, and Special Summoning [Great Sun Star] to the Deck."

Mente LP6500→6000

ATK1400 Dainah Star

"The required materials are 2 Tuner monsters + 1 non-Tuner monster with 'Omega Sun' in its name. Level-1 two Omega Sun Spheres (Tuner) and Level-8 Epsilon Omega Sun (Non-Tuner) are Synchro Summoned to Level 10 [Omega Sun]!"
