Over the long years, this door has become solidified, as if it were a single, unified structure.

Glenn made a slight adjustment, stretched out his hands and pressed them firmly against the door. His muscles tensed up suddenly, and a tremendous force burst forth from his arms. The solidified door began to tremble, and finally a crack appeared in the middle of the door.

As the gap appeared, light poured in all at once, a ray of white light extending into the interior space, but at the end of the light was a huge figure that blocked the light's extension.

The gap widened until it was large enough for one person to pass through, at which point Glenn stopped pushing.

Looking up, the massive, blurry outline vaguely hinted at a murderous intent.

"what is this?"

Glenn narrowed his eyes, a glint of light flashing within them. With his Eye of Insight activated, he wanted to see the figure's specific details.

But he was disappointed; the Eye of Insight seemed to have lost its function here, providing no data feedback whatsoever.

Glenn's inner alarm told him that this situation was not a good sign, and whether to leave or stay was entirely up to him.

Standing silently in place, Glenn was hesitating and making a decision.

Ultimately, impulse prevailed over reason, and Glenn stepped inside.

As Glenn entered, he placed a blazing light source high in the air, and in an instant, the interior environment was revealed as the light shone through.

"this…"

Glenn was stunned. In the small space inside, there were three huge stone statues standing in a triangular formation around an altar.

Above the altar, a small, triangular, solid-shaped object floated silently, like a small, weightless pyramid, completely obscured by a thick layer of dust.

Concealing his surprise, he took a step forward and stood before the statues. Instead of examining the triangular cube-shaped object, he looked up at one of the statues.

The stone statue was robust and tall, at least five meters high. It was covered in dust, making it impossible to discern its exact appearance. However, from its outline, it seemed to be wearing a tight-fitting suit of armor, the style of which Glen had never seen before.

Beneath the slender, light armor was a flared skirt armor, and her arms were outstretched, supporting a strange three-meter-long weapon that resembled a mace, but was surrounded by a profusion of sharp blades.

Looking at the head, the angular face is covered by a mask with strange patterns. The most eye-catching feature is the small, pointed horn protruding from the forehead, slightly peeking out from a gap at the top of the mask.

The stone statue exudes a murderous aura, affecting every living being that gazes upon it.

"Could these be the creatures of this place? Judging by their physiques, they seem extraordinary! Truly a race of war gods."

Glenn sighed with emotion. If such a race still existed in this era, what would be the point of the Divine River Civilization? The idea that one person could fight against a million soldiers was no joke. The chilling aura emanating from them even made Glenn tremble with fear.

Of course, if this creature were still alive, Glenn would definitely run away as fast as he could. He had no confidence in fighting it, not even now that he was a third-generation god. That was his inner judgment.

After observing for a while, Glenn finally came to his senses, turned his gaze back to the object in the center of the altar.

After a slight hesitation, Glenn strode forward, leaving his footprints in this place where no life had existed for millions of years.

The journey went smoothly, and Glenn couldn't help but breathe a sigh of relief. At least there were no melodramatic plot twists like in novels. In a ruined civilization, traps and such were no longer necessary.

Looking at the floating, motionless triangular cube in front of him, Glenn did not reach out to touch it. Only a fool would touch something of unknown origin!

With a thought, a black longsword appeared in his hand. Gripping the hilt, Glenn held the sword out to the opponent.

The slow pace seemed to reflect Glenn's state of mind; a sense of tension arose within him, as if he were about to uncover the truth of this civilization.

For some reason, after entering this space, the dark energy-like fluctuations disappeared, and their origin was unknown.

But Glenn believed that the energy fluctuation was definitely related to the triangular cube in front of him. Didn't he see that it was firmly encircled in the center by the three stone statues? And that altar—who would build an altar for no reason? Why would they do that? So this object must be very important, and they had to be careful.

Time seemed to slow down as Glenn's longsword approached inch by inch. Finally, after countless years, the tip of the black longsword gently touched the triangular cube.

At that moment, Glenn was ready to run away at any moment; if things went wrong, he would run.

"Ding!"

With a crisp metallic clang, the two made contact, and nothing else happened, which relieved Glenn's nerves considerably.

As Glenn sheathed his longsword and was about to step forward to examine it, the triangular cube seemed to activate itself, and the dust covering it slowly fell away, revealing its true form.

This commotion made Glenn instinctively take a step back, his face tense.

But then nothing happened, which finally made Glenn completely relax. Feeling that his young heart had been frightened, Glenn couldn't help but curse:

"Holy crap, that was terrifying! These unknown things are always unsettling. I almost scared myself to death! Uh! When did I become such a coward?"

Just as Glenn was cursing himself for being a coward, fine cracks appeared on the surface of the three stone statues behind him, and the slight cracking sound was masked by Glenn's cursing.

Calming his excited emotions, Glenn carefully examined the object before him. The ordinary triangular cube revealed its true form after the dust had settled.

Its dark, shiny surface is as dazzling and colorful as a sapphire. In particular, the smooth surface is covered with red lines that cover the entire triangular cube. If you look closely, you can see something slowly flowing in the red lines, which is quite eerie.

Upon seeing this, Glenn was greatly surprised and leaned forward to examine it closely.

"Hmm! The black, translucent material doesn't look like metal, but its texture makes it seem like a metallic object. It's really amazing. Also, the red patterns on it have some similarities to those on the gate. What does that represent? What is its significance?"

Lost in thought, Glenn didn't notice that the cracks on the statue were increasing and gradually connecting. Small fragments began to fall off, revealing a black metal surface that was no different from the material of the triangular cube. Its surface also had patterns, but its color was golden, giving it a noble and majestic feel.

"Crack, click, click!"

Large chunks of stone began to fall, the soft thuds sounding particularly jarring in the quiet space, like a drop of water falling into boiling oil, causing the entire space to shatter—and this was only the beginning.

Finally, Glenn, who was deep in thought, suddenly woke up and subconsciously turned his head to look. When he saw what was there, his pupils shrank and his heart started pounding.

What did he see? He saw two points of golden light, or more accurately, a pair of golden eyes.
