"Clap!"

"Clap!"

With the sound of numerous angels landing, a group of angels walked towards the hall.

Keisha, walking ahead, said as she went:

"Alan! Activate the Skyblade immediately. The situation on the front lines has changed. The Triangular Matrix and the Beast Matrix are planning a desperate last stand."

This time, we will end this war completely, and let the angels' fame resound throughout the known universe.

"Yes, Queen."

Alan readily agreed and then began arranging the work. And so, they came together into the hall.

Then the angels sensed something was wrong and their gazes involuntarily turned toward the throne. The next moment, an expression of disbelief filled their hearts.

"Shadow King?"

"Why is he here?"

"Could it be that they've come to see the Queen?"

"probably!"

Keisha's expression was somewhat stiff, and the light in her eyes kept trembling, revealing her shock and surprise, along with a little bit of happiness.

Following behind Keisha, Alan's mouth was slightly open, unsure how to express the current situation, but she was overjoyed. Lord Glenn was such a man.

Looking down at the angels below, Glenn said calmly:

"You've arrived? We've been waiting for you for a long time."

Only then did they recover from their shock, and Keisha then spoke in as calm a tone as possible:

"Why are you here?"

Glenn didn't answer Keisha's question directly, but looked at Alan and the others behind him and said:

"Alan, please take them away for a moment. Your queen and I have some matters to attend to."

"Yes, Shadow King!"

Alan readily agreed without hesitation, and quickly pulled the bewildered angels away from the hall, making sure to close the door that had never been closed before.

"Crack!"

Hearing the sound of the door closing tightly, Glenn was very pleased; Alan was quite sensible after all!

His gaze then fell upon Keisha, looking down at her as Keisha always looked down at others.

"Hey!"

Glenn stood up, leaped lightly to stand directly in front of Keisha, and then answered her question.

"I was trying to catch that little girl playing hide-and-seek. Did I find her?"

He then asked Keisha a question in return.

"..."

Looking at the man in front of her, Keisha's usual imposing aura vanished. She simply couldn't put on airs in front of him, and he wasn't buying it either.

Keisha was filled with complex emotions and didn't know how to face him. Ever since Glenn confessed to her, she had been in a state of turmoil and always wanted to escape.

Then I would avoid him, but I also wanted to see him. Every day was filled with chaotic thoughts.

It wasn't until Principal Kieran made the suggestion that Keisha used this as an excuse to begin her long campaign, only then would she not have any wild thoughts.

But in the end, after He Xi's secret communication, she couldn't help herself and returned to the Heavenly Court of Merlo, just to see him. But in the end, she still ran away and left.

Despite this happening several times, he still managed to spot and intercept her.

As if sensing Keisha's inner turmoil, Glenn took a step forward and stood before her. Looking at this beautiful woman, Glenn suddenly felt a pang of heartache.

"Still trying to escape?"

Glenn smiled and asked.

"If I run away, will you still chase me?"

Keisha finally spoke up, and this time she didn't avoid the question but asked it directly.

Where do you think you're going to run off to?

Glenn was completely calm at this moment, his eyes fixed only on that pretty face and those bright eyes.

Keisha's bright eyes flickered, and she said provocatively:

"The known universe is so vast, there will always be places you can't find it."

Glenn stared at Keisha and said disdainfully:

"No matter how vast the universe is, I will find you. You can't escape."

"Wow! You think you can do that?"

Keisha smiled and moved closer to Glenn, looking at his mature face.

Glenn looked at the pretty face so close to his own and whispered:

"Then you'll see if I can't do it!"

After saying that, ignoring Keisha's shocked and panicked eyes, Glenn lowered his head and kissed her directly. The atmosphere was right, and it would be a shame not to do something.

The familiar touch left him with a lingering sense of nostalgia, while Keisha also recalled their first encounter.

This is the second time I've felt this way; the first time was a long time ago!

Outside the hall, a group of angels, led by Alan, were eavesdropping at the door.

A female angel spoke up:

"Sister Alan, do you think the Queen might have something going on with the Shadow King?"

Before Alan could answer, another female angel spoke:

"Is that even a question? Ever since the Shadow King returned, the Queen has been visiting the Heavenly Court of Merlo from time to time. Would she do that if she weren't there to see the Shadow King?"

"Oh! That's right!"

Listening to their chatter, Ailan scolded them:

"Don't speak, you can't hear me."

"what!"

"Oh oh oh!"

The angels all fell silent, listening intently to what was happening inside.

But after waiting for a long time, I still didn't hear any sound. At first, there were voices, but now it's completely quiet.

The angels were puzzled and couldn't help but look at Alan.

Alan couldn't stand the stares and casually replied:

"The Queen and the Shadow King are probably up to something! They don't have time to chat!"

"Oh, I see!"

The angels suddenly realized what was going on and pressed closer to the door to eavesdrop. This was the biggest gossip in the history of angelic civilization, and they would be doing themselves a disservice if they didn't listen.

Their lips parted, and a thin, transparent thread was pulled out before breaking, but neither of them seemed to care.

Looking at the beautiful woman before him, Glenn smiled gently:

"Your coordinates have been recorded. No matter how you try to escape, I will find you this time."

Keisha was still savoring what had just happened and subconsciously replied, "That's it?"

Seeing her like this, Glenn smiled but didn't make any further moves. He knew they had important things to do and it wasn't the right time.

Under Keisha's surprised gaze, Glenn slowly cupped her little head and said earnestly:

"Keisha! Promise me, no matter now or in the future, you won't run away, okay?"

Taking a slight breath, Keisha replied in a low voice:

"it is good!"

Hearing this answer, Glenn was pleased, and then took out an object, or rather an exquisite box, from the micro-wormhole.

Under Keisha's curious gaze, Glenn opened the box, inside which lay a necklace. The openwork silver ornament was inlaid with an unknown gemstone, its azure color noble and coldly beautiful, attracting the attention of others and making them unable to resist.

He picked up the necklace and looked at Keisha, saying:

"This is a gift for you; you'll need it in the future."

Without giving Keisha a chance to speak, he placed the necklace on her swan-like neck, the azure light of the necklace making her even more beautiful against her fair skin.

"this…"

Keisha subconsciously looked down and saw that it was indeed dazzling and eye-catching, attracting her attention at first glance, and she liked it very much.

"Thank you."

Keisha thanked them and said she really liked the gift.

Glenn was pleased to see this and instructed her:

"I hope you will wear this gift forever, no matter how long it takes, even ten thousand years later, and never take it off casually, okay?"

"why?"

Keisha was puzzled, not understanding the meaning behind Glenn's request.

Glenn didn't explain, only telling her that this was very important to her; he couldn't very well say it was insurance for her demise tens of thousands of years from now! She didn't believe him anyway!

Seeing Glenn's insistence, Keisha had no choice but to agree, since she liked it quite a bit anyway.

Only then did Glenn breathe a sigh of relief.

Looking at Keisha's current appearance, Glenn sized her up and blurted out:

"I still prefer you in short skirts, but this is fine too, no one can see it, hehe!"

"cut!"

Keisha spat in dissatisfaction, but she was actually quite happy inside. Her complicated emotions made her conflicted: should she continue wearing the short skirt or keep this outfit, since it would be more convenient for fighting!

After agonizing over it for a while, I stopped worrying about it and decided to leave it at that for now. If he wants to see it, I'll wear it for him later.

So the two lingered for a while longer, and then, urged by Keisha, Glenn opened the door to leave the Skyblade.

But as soon as the door opened, the little angels outside stumbled unexpectedly and gave an embarrassed smile.

Seeing this, Glenn's lips curled up, and he turned back to give Keisha a playful look before leaving under her embarrassed and annoyed gaze.

How Keisha dealt with these eavesdropping little angels later was not something he should worry about.

They finally defeated Keisha, the big boss. Although they will forget about her soon, some things are not so easy to erase.

What the future holds, we must strive for ourselves.
