"Tiger Roar, Crane Feather, a storm is brewing at sea, let's all be careful." Chu Xinyao rushed into the cabin, her voice breaking the tranquility inside.

Hu Xiao and He Yu immediately stood up, their faces showing tension.

The ominous signs of a storm quickly enveloped the entire sea. The clouds in the sky began to gather, growing thicker and heavier. The sky was overcast, and the sea wind howled wildly across the deck.

Seagulls and other seabirds also sensed the power of the storm, scattering in panic and searching for safe havens. The waves began to churn, crashing against the ship one after another with a roar, as if the sea were howling.

Through the window, Hu Xiao shielded Chu Xinyao, preventing her from getting wet from the splashing seawater. His large hands firmly held the window frame, forming a protective barrier.

Chu Xinyao frowned and looked at the sea. The scene on the sea was changing rapidly. The sky, which had just been a little dark, was now as black as ink. The wind was also more violent, and the huge merman ship was swaying in the gale.

The terror of the storm began to manifest; the waves, like enraged beasts, repeatedly pounded against the large ship, causing it to sway violently in the massive waves, as if it might be swallowed up at any moment.

On the giant ship, the crew busied themselves, moving swiftly to secure ropes to the mast and adjust the sails to the optimal angle to minimize the wind's impact on the vessel. Cargo was firmly secured in the hold to prevent it from being thrown out during the storm.

"What should we do, He Yu, Hu Xiao, hurry up!" Chu Xinyao stood in the swaying cabin, looking at the two men, whose faces were as white as paper, with some heartache.

"Yaoyao, I'm fine." Hu Xiao forced a smile, his hands gripping the cabin tightly.

On the other side, He Yu's forehead was covered in sweat, his face was pale, and he could no longer speak. Already suffering from severe seasickness, the swaying made him feel even more dizzy and nauseous. Even though he hadn't eaten anything, he still felt waves of nausea. His hands gripped the edge of the cabin tightly, his knuckles turning blue from the force.

Seeing his condition, Chu Xinyao was a little worried and said to Hu Xiao, "Hu Xiao, come and take care of He Yu. I'll go ask the crew if there's any way to alleviate the situation."

"Xinyao, no need." He Yu grasped her hand. In the current situation, staying in the cabin was the safest option. He didn't want Chu Xinyao to take any risks in such a dangerous situation.

Chu Xinyao gently shook off his hand and patted his back: "Don't worry, I'll go find you some medicine. I just encountered some merfolk; they're very experienced. As long as I follow them, I won't be in any danger."

She now looks like Rabbit Dodo, with an innocent and harmless appearance, so she probably won't attract too much attention.

"Yaoyao, I'll go!" Hu Xiao, his face pale, stumbled over.

"Alright, I'm the only one of the three who doesn't get seasick. You should take care of yourself," Chu Xinyao helped Hu Xiao up and sat him down next to He Yu. "I'll be back soon."

She quickly left the cabin and walked forward. The corridor was unprotected and particularly dangerous in the raging storm. The sea wind, like sharp blades, stung her face.

Chu Xinyao clung to the railing as she walked, her hands becoming wet from gripping the seawater so tightly. The crew members were busy on deck; she planned to ask them for some seasickness medication, hoping to alleviate He Yu and Hu Xiao's discomfort.

Just then, a huge wave suddenly crashed down from the side, its force so great that the ship was nearly capsized.

Chu Xinyao lost her balance and was thrown out of the cabin, falling into the surging sea.

The seawater pressed down on her like a wall, and the world went dark in an instant. The icy water surrounded her, and she felt her limbs being tightly bound by the seawater, unable to move.

The pressure of the seawater caused her eardrums to ring, and her lungs constricted due to lack of air, making each breath extremely difficult.

Her vision blurred, and the salty taste of the sea filled her mouth, making her feel nauseous. Fear gripped her heart like a cold hand.

Chu Xinyao felt as if she were imprisoned in a silent world, with only the roar of the sea and her own heartbeat echoing in her ears. Her limbs began to weaken, and each struggle felt like fighting an invincible enemy.

Her body grew heavier and heavier, as if being pulled by an invisible hand into the deeper parts of the deep sea.

[Sister Ting, help me...]

At this critical moment, countless images flashed through Chu Xinyao's mind: her family, her friends, Hu Xiao and He Yu, who must be anxiously searching for her. She couldn't just give up like this.

However, as her oxygen was depleted and her strength waned, she felt her consciousness becoming increasingly blurred.

The cold seawater began to seep into her body, her heartbeat grew weaker and weaker, and she felt her life force slowly slipping away. Her vision was reduced to a blurry blue, her body no longer obeyed her commands, and she began to slowly sink, sinking into that endless abyss.

Just as her consciousness was about to fade, a warm light pierced through the dark seawater, illuminating her vision. It was a merman, the beautiful fish bubble, whose body emitted a faint blue glow. The fish bubble quickly approached Chu Xinyao, then opened its mouth, forming a giant bubble that enveloped her. This bubble not only protected her from the impact of the seawater but also provided oxygen, allowing her to breathe.

Chu Xinyao felt a warm force surrounding her, and her consciousness gradually returned. Fish Bubble's strong arms encircled Chu Xinyao, and they began to swim towards the surface.

He was incredibly fast, and in no time he broke through the water's surface and returned to the air. Chu Xinyao gasped for breath of fresh air; she had finally come back to life.

Fish Bubble placed Chu Xinyao on the deck, then turned and went back into the water.

When Hu Xiao and He Yu on the ship saw that Chu Xinyao had been rescued, their despair turned into ecstasy, and they ran towards the deck.

"Yao Yao, Yao Yao." Hu Xiao cried with joy. Facing his beloved who had been lost and found again, his heart was filled with indescribable excitement. He hugged Chu Xin Yao tightly, his arms trembling slightly with emotion.

He Yu stumbled over, his usually calm eyes reddening, his voice hoarse as he said, "Xin Yao, you scared us so much, we thought..." He couldn't finish his sentence, and stepped forward to hug the two of them tightly.

"I'm fine, really fine." Chu Xinyao raised her hand and wiped away the tears on Hu Xiao's face.

She looked out at the sea and murmured, "Who... is he?"
