You'd better look back, Mr. Shen is about to break.

Chapter 101 Wanting Special Treatment from His Wife

Almost everyone who came to camp on the mountaintop participated in the bonfire party that evening. The staff of the resort danced in a circle around the bonfire, partly to ensure the safety of the tourists and partly to create a festive atmosphere.

Yu Nanqing sat on a small stool and quickly became acquainted with a mother next to her. The mother had a little girl of about four years old who was nestled obediently in Yu Nanqing's arms. Once they were familiar with each other, the little girl moved into Yu Nanqing's arms and refused to leave.

All she knew was that the older sister was pretty and smelled nice, and that her bag was full of beautiful dolls.

Shen Mochen leaned back on the camping chair next to him, staring at the two of them with an inscrutable expression. His fingers tapped lightly on the back of the chair from time to time. He was itching to pull his good wife back and wrap her in his coat so that no one could take her away.

He Jing, Zheng Yan, and Yu Yan stood with Qiuqiu at a free food stall not far away. The two of them and the dog were all foodies. They hadn't eaten enough earlier and were now eating voraciously. Only Yu Yan leaned against the umbrella stand, her gaze fixed on Shen Mochen.

"Brother Shen brought us here to show off, right?" Zheng Yan ate watermelon, glancing at the two people who were easily noticeable outside the campfire.

He Jing wasn't surprised at all. Ever since Shen Mochen called him late at night to talk about his marriage, he knew that Shen Mochen was a love-struck fool. He took a couple more bites of chicken leg, glanced at him, and said, "You're right."

After finishing speaking, she didn't forget about Qiuqiu on the ground. She shook the bag of dog food she was carrying and poured some more for Qiuqiu.

After He Jing finished eating, he wiped his hands, handed the dog leash to Yu Yan, grinned at him, and then mingled into the crowd dancing around the campfire.

The bonfire party didn't end until midnight. Yu Nanqing was still holding the little girl in her arms, but the little girl had already fallen asleep, still tightly holding her fingers.

The mother looked at her apologetically, pried open the little girl's fingers, and forcefully picked her up, saying, "I'm sorry for making you hold her for so long."

"It's alright, she's very well-behaved. I quite like children." Yu Nanqing waved his hand, helped her pick up the chair on the ground, and watched her leave before turning around.

Shen Mochen was still leaning lazily in his chair. Seeing that she had finished her work, he got up, reached out and hooked her hand, pulling her into his arms. "My dear, you talked to that woman for thirty-five minutes tonight, and the smile on your face never left."

Yu Nanqing was taken aback, her eyes flickering slightly. "Are you jealous?"

"Yeah, I'm so jealous." Shen Mochen didn't bother to hide it. He leaned down and kissed her, then sighed softly before bending down to pack his things.

He slung her bag over his shoulder, grabbed a chair with one hand and took her hand with the other, and walked towards the other end of the tent.

Once inside the tent, after putting down what he was carrying, he pounced on her, pressing her down and kissing her repeatedly, his voice hoarse as he complained, "I don't feel any special treatment from you at all. You seem to be this nice to everyone, always smiling at everyone..."

"Sometimes they're even better to me than to me. Clearly... we're each other's indispensable treasures."

"Good girl, you should only have eyes for me."

Just like him, she only had eyes for him, treating her as his possession and himself as her possession, always adhering to male virtues.

He doesn't take off his clothes casually anymore, not even in front of Qiuqiu.

He hardly ever showed his face in public anymore, spending his days in her small apartment waiting for her to come home like a devoted husband.

Yu Nanqing stared at him blankly, feeling that he was like an insecure little dog. She unconsciously reached out and touched his head, leaned down and kissed his forehead. She found that his unreasonable request was quite reasonable. "I'm sorry, I will smile when I see you from now on, and treat you as my only... one and only treasure."

"Only two? Goodness, you've got two minds?" Shen Mochen suddenly looked up, his dark eyes scrutinizing her.

"And there's Qiuqiu." After saying that, she paused for two seconds, "No, there are only three, and there's also my dad."

“…Oh.” Shen Mochen responded softly, his tone revealing disappointment.

Sure enough, he could never be the only one in her heart. Perhaps, her heart was divided into two equal parts, and he was the extra part that wasn't divided evenly.

My heart is breaking.

He buried his face in her chest and nuzzled her, two tears welling up in his sore eyes, which clung to her fur coat and turned into tiny, transparent pearls.

Seeing his lifeless appearance, Yu Nanqing cupped his face and kissed him a few times, "You can't expect me to be an ungrateful wretch."

Shen Mochen's body stiffened for a moment, and his mind suddenly recalled memories from a long time ago when he was suppressed at the bottom of the valley.

That was when he was in the mental hospital. There was a boy next door who was about the same age as him. The boy had a mother who would visit him often.

Unlike his manic-depressive disorder, the boy seemed to have autism, sitting by the window all day, looking depressed. Every time the boy's mother came, she received no response.

It seems that it was near the end of the year when the woman needed the boy to sign some documents. After not receiving a response, she hysterically cursed the boy as an ingrate.

His daily routine was extremely regular, and his mild obsessive-compulsive disorder made him unable to resist going crazy if his routine was changed. After his afternoon nap was disturbed for several days in a row, he could no longer bear it and went berserk, scaring the woman away.

The woman never came again in the following days, and the boy... became his follower.

Listening to him ramble on about these things, Yu Nanqing felt a pang of emotion. "Is that boy still alive?"

Shen Mochen lifted his eyes, leaned forward and kissed her lips, lingering for a few moments before pulling back breathlessly. "His name is Yu Yan."

Yu Nanqing was taken aback. She glanced at the dark figure still standing outside the tent, rubbed the stray hairs on Shen Mochen's forehead with her fingertips, and murmured the words in her mouth for a long time before finally uttering them, "Shen Mochen, you are a good person."

Before she could finish speaking, her lips were suddenly sealed again, this time fiercely, like a storm.

"I don't need a friend card." He kissed her for a long time before pulling away, pinching her cheek, opening the tent to let Yu Yan go to sleep, and only after she left did he turn around and continue to squeeze her again.

His wife's soft moans were so alluring that he couldn't bear to let anyone else hear them.

--

After staying at the resort for three days, the group headed back home.

Unexpectedly, as soon as she entered the apartment, she was startled by Yu Tu sitting on the sofa. "Dad?"

She suddenly felt a little relieved that she had insisted on letting Shen Mochen take Qiuqiu back instead of letting him come upstairs with her.

She needed her household registration booklet when she went to Beijing to transfer work documents and apply for a residence permit, so she brought it with her.

In other words, she hadn't actually told Yu Tu that she and Shen Mochen had gotten their marriage certificate.

Yu Nanqing poured water for Yu Tu, sat down on the sofa, and her eyes suddenly fell on the photo of her and Shen Mochen on the TV cabinet.

She paused for two seconds, her nerves on edge, then immediately got up and moved over. "Dad, I'll put the TV on for you."
