The Return of Stars to the Jianghu

A golden light flashed rapidly outside the window, and suddenly a woman appeared in the courtyard, gesturing with her fingers.

Suddenly, a golden light flew into the woman's hand. Luo Yifei and Shen Lixi saw that it was a golden dagger with a yellow gem on it.

The woman looked at the two of them.

The two knew that this was the person who had saved them yesterday.

The woman was tall and slender with delicate features, and her long, jet-black hair flowed in the wind. She held a golden dagger in her hand, her gaze sharp, as if she could see through all hypocrisy and lies.

"You're the people who were being chased yesterday, right?" the woman asked, her voice clear and firm.

Luo Yifei and Shen Lixi exchanged a glance and nodded.

"Thank you for saving me yesterday, young lady," Luo Yifei said, cupping his hands in thanks.

"No need to thank me, I just can't stand what those people are doing," the woman said calmly.

"Does the young lady know where this place is?" Shen Lixi asked.

Upon hearing this, the woman frowned slightly, seemingly displeased with the question.

"Luo Family Village, you have already left that dangerous place," the woman said.

"Where is this? How do we get out of here?" Luo Yifei pressed.

The woman remained silent for a moment, seemingly considering whether she should tell them. Finally, she spoke.

“This is a forgotten village, located on the edge of the continent. If you want to leave, you will need to cross that forest and climb over that mountain to reach the nearest town,” the woman said.

"Thank you for your guidance, young lady." Luo Yifei bowed again in thanks.

The woman nodded and turned to leave. But just as she turned, Luo Yifei suddenly called out to her.

“Young lady, could you tell us your name? If we have the opportunity in the future, we will definitely repay your kindness,” Luo Yifei said.

The woman stopped and looked back at him, a complex emotion flashing in her eyes.

"My name is Roland." After saying that, she transformed into a golden light and disappeared into the sky.

Luo Yifei and Shen Lixi gazed in the direction where Roland had disappeared, their hearts filled with gratitude and respect. They knew that Roland was a powerful and mysterious woman, her appearance and departure as unbelievable as a myth.

After returning to their room and unpacking their luggage, the two went to wake up Shi Hao and Han Yue.

After having breakfast, the four prepared to leave the hotel.

"Excuse me, is this Luo Ji's manor?" Before leaving, Luo Yifei couldn't help but jokingly ask the innkeeper.

The boss was a middle-aged man, burly and with a full beard. He paused for a moment upon hearing this, then shook his head.

“Luo Ji? Who is Luo Ji? We’ve never heard of that name before,” the shopkeeper said.

Luo Yifei smiled and didn't say anything more. After thanking the owner, he left the hotel with Shen Lixi and the others.

They crossed the courtyard and arrived at the riverbank. The four of them stood on the riverbank, gazing at the forest on the opposite bank and the distant mountains.

"Are we really going to cross that forest?" Shi Hao asked with some concern.

“Yes, Roland has already told us the way out,” Luo Yifei replied.

"But that forest looks so eerie. What if we encounter any danger?" Han Yue said.

"Don't worry, we'll be careful," Shen Lixi reassured her.

The four discussed it and decided to cross the forest together. They walked along the river for a while and then entered the forest.

The forest was dense with trees, and sunlight could only filter through the gaps in the leaves to dapple the ground. The air was filled with the damp scent of earth and the fresh fragrance of leaves. The four of them walked cautiously, afraid of disturbing any wild animals.

After walking for a while, they suddenly heard a strange sound. The sound seemed to come from deep within the woods, deep and powerful.

"What was that sound?" Shi Hao asked nervously.

"I don't know, let's be careful," Luo Yifei said.

They continued onward, the sound growing ever closer. Suddenly, a huge beast burst forth from the woods, charging straight at them.

"Ah!" Han Yue exclaimed, nearly falling over in fright.

Luo Yifei and Shen Lixi quickly drew their weapons, ready to fight. Shi Hao, meanwhile, nervously hid behind them, gripping a wooden stick tightly in both hands.

The beast charged at them, its jaws wide open, revealing sharp fangs. Luo Yifei and Shen Lixi attacked simultaneously, one targeting the beast's head and the other its body.

After a fierce battle, they finally defeated the beast. The four of them, panting heavily, sat down to rest.

"Phew, that was close," Shi Hao said.

"Yes, I didn't expect there to be such a powerful beast in the forest. Its shape looks a bit like the leopard described in ancient books," Han Yue said.

“However, we did get something out of it,” Luo Yifei said, looking at the beast’s carcass on the ground. “Its fur and teeth are valuable materials that we can sell in the market.”

“Yes, we still have these spoils of war.” Shen Lixi laughed as well.

After disposing of the beast's carcass, the four continued their journey. They encountered several more dangers along the way, but managed to overcome them all.

After a day's trek, they finally emerged from the forest and arrived at a bustling town. The town was lively and bustling with people. They found an inn to stay in and prepared to get some rest.

That evening, the four of them sat together and talked about their experiences that day.

"I didn't expect this forest to be so dangerous. Luckily, we're all safe and sound," Shi Hao said.

"Yes, we owe a great deal to Roland's guidance this time," Luo Yifei exclaimed.

“However, I think Roland’s identity is definitely not simple,” Shen Lixi said. “She can easily see our cultivation level and point out the way we leave. This is not something an ordinary person can do.”

“You’re right.” Luo Yifei nodded. “However, do you know if you’ve noticed her dagger? There’s a yellow gem on it.”

“I know what you’re going to say. I also suspect that it’s one of the five divine artifacts, but what a coincidence! We’re looking for the five divine artifacts, and the artifact just appears out of nowhere?” Shen Lixi replied.
