Luo Yifei turned around and was also surprised to see Sanmu. He and Shi Hao had been trapped here for more than a month without encountering a single person. Now they had actually run into someone who should have been on the Floating Life Continent.

"Sanmu, is that you?" Luo Yifei asked in disbelief.

"It's me, Luo Yifei! What are you doing here?" Sanmu said excitedly.

Luo Yifei sighed: "Shi Hao and I accidentally entered the barrier while trying to escape the bandits. We finally got out of the barrier, but unexpectedly, we ended up in this forbidden land of death in the Xuan Tian Continent. We tried to get out, but no matter which way we went, we were still in the forbidden land. It seems that we are trapped in a huge maze."

"Shi Hao? Is he really Shi Hao?" Sanmu was very surprised. Shi Hao was clearly dead.

"That's a long story," Luo Yifei replied.

“Sanmu, the grain officer of Free City, weren’t you kidnapped by Fan Ye on your way to Southern Han with Qi Yuan? Qi Yuan is fine, and he even ransomed you,” Shi Hao said from the side, holding a few herbs in his hand.

Han Yue stepped forward and said, "I am Han Yue, and I rescued Sanmu."

After exchanging information, Luo Yifei recounted how, after Sanmu was kidnapped, Qi Yuan led them safely south to An Island. After settling Huaxi and Qingwei, they went to Tang Kingdom to meet Li Chao, the sect leader of Tang Clan. Later, they headed north to meet Mr. Ding of Wu Kingdom, but encountered bandits on the way and accidentally arrived at Xuan Tian Continent.

Han Yue then told them how he had suppressed bandits in the Southern Han Dynasty and how he had rescued Sanmu. He also explained how he and Sanmu had come to the Xuan Tian Continent and how, guided by the Lingyi Clan, they had arrived at the Forbidden Land of Death in search of the elixir of immortality.

Sanmu recounted how, after separating from Luo Yifei, he was captured by Fan Ye and imprisoned in a bandit's cave. He was later rescued by Han Yue, and in order to save Freedom City and find the secret of the path to immortality, he traveled through the ruins of Lanting County and through a tunnel to the Xuantian Continent.

Shi Hao recounted how his undercover work in Qi was exposed and he was wanted by the authorities. Later, he faked his death and escaped with the help of Song Han, a swordsman from the Tang Clan. After that, he received a secret order from Mr. Ding to escort Luo Yifei northward. However, on the way, he was hiding from bandits and accidentally entered a barrier. While searching for an exit and crossing a tunnel, he ended up in the Xuan Tian Continent.

After learning about everyone's experiences, Sanmu couldn't help but exclaim, "I never imagined that we would go through so much together and meet again here today."

Luo Yifei nodded: "Yes, fate is truly wondrous. However, the most important thing now is how we can leave this forbidden land of death."

Han Yue frowned: "The Spirit Wing Clan said that this forbidden area is protected by powerful mazes and monsters, so we have to be careful."

Shi Hao optimistically said, "Since we can find the elixir of immortality, we will definitely find a way out."

“That’s right. However, although this herb is called the elixir of immortality, it doesn’t actually make people live forever. It only has the effect of prolonging life and strengthening the body,” Shi Hao replied.

“Yes.” Luo Yifei nodded. “However, the first thing we need to figure out is how to get out of this maze.”

“I think we can try to keep going in one direction, and we’ll eventually find an exit,” Mitsumu suggested.

"The Monkey Clan told us about the effects of the elixir of immortality, saying that these medicines are located within these ten great mountains. "The Spiritwing Clan told us the same thing. They said the elixir of immortality is on the Immortal Peak among these ten great mountains," Han Yue said.

"It seems we need to find a way to control this maze in order to leave," Luo Yifei said thoughtfully.

"But how can we find a way to control the maze?" Sanmu asked, somewhat puzzled.

"Perhaps we can start with the elixir of immortality," Han Yue suggested. "Since this herb is the key to the maze, it may also hold the secret to escaping it."

“That makes sense.” Shi Hao nodded in agreement. “We can study these herbs carefully and see if we can find any clues.”
