Kilsager and Chat Groups

Chapter 65: The Second Impact Ends

Kilsager watched the hybrid's every move with high vigilance, his heart filled with tension and unease.

She was terrified that Narud might suddenly turn around and leave her in a desperate situation.

Just then, the battered hybrid Destroyer struggled to his feet, took a few slow steps toward Kirsaj, and then suddenly collapsed to the ground.

At the same time, psionic energy emanating a ghostly blue light surged from its body and quickly disappeared into the air.

"call......"

Kirsagh finally breathed a sigh of relief, confirming that the hybrid was indeed dead.

She couldn't comment on the battle just now, but facing a creator god-like enemy right from the start was just too exciting.

At this moment, the artifact's psionic interference gradually weakened, dropping to a level that humans could tolerate.

The Imperial soldiers who had fallen to the ground struggled to their feet, and when they saw Kirsha standing unharmed in the same spot, and the mangled hybrid corpse not far away, they couldn't help but cheer.

Killer Jake stared silently in the direction of the artifact, his eyes revealing deep suspicion and vigilance.

She knew all too well that Narud, as a being of the level of a creator god, would not only have such limited abilities.

Artanis quickly arrived at the battlefield, but he was clearly too late. He swiftly surveyed his surroundings and soon spotted the hybrid corpse that stood out from the other creatures.

He frowned, a sense of foreboding rising in his heart.

Artanis strode towards Kil'jaeden and asked seriously, "A new hybrid has appeared?"

Kirsa took a deep breath and slowly said, "It's not a hybrid, it's Sa... Narud."

She wanted to say Xel'Naga, but remembering that Artanis had come here specifically to find Xel'Naga, she held back.

“Narud?” Artanis was somewhat unfamiliar with the name, but he remembered that Renault had told him about the Morbius Foundation, mentioning an executive named Narud.

He looked at Kirsar with suspicion, hoping for more explanation.

Kirsage hesitated, unsure if telling Artanis the truth would be a heavy blow to him. But ultimately, she decided to tell him anyway.

“A fallen Xel'Naga, a servant of Amon, now called Narud,” Kil'jaeden’s voice was low and serious.

Upon hearing Kilsager's voice, Artanis pondered the matter; he wasn't too surprised by it.

"It seems that Amon isn't the only one who can use void energy."

Artanis's calm demeanor surprised Kirsaj, but upon reflection, she realized it was a good thing.

“Archbishop, I think we shouldn’t stop. We should at least deal with these enemies.”

Kirsage pointed to the Morbius Foundation forces that were attacking them, with a hybrid Destroyer mixed in among them.

“You are right, Kilsager.”

Artanis drew his light blade, lowered his body, and prepared to face the enemy.

El: Oh my god! Oh my god!

Tina: It really hurts, but we seem to be alright.

El shook his head vigorously to clear his mind.

He blinked and took in the situation outside.

Voyles stood atop the massive carcass of a hybrid raider, his golden armor riddled with dents and scratches, a testament to a fierce battle.

Several fanatics, their blades gleaming, stood warily beside him, protecting his safety.

The hybrid raider's body was covered in various types of wounds, and all its tentacles were severed and scattered on the ground. Judging from the reduced number of Protoss troops present, it could be inferred that many of their warriors had been recalled.

El sighed inwardly; this battle was undoubtedly a major loss for them.

As he watched the humans rise from the ground one by one, Voyles jumped off the hybrid's corpse and walked toward them.

“Now we need to spend more time regrouping our troops.” Voyles walked up to the three men and said in a heavy tone, “You can go first.”

El jumped off the dove, and the jetpack at his waist emitted a burst of air to help him reduce the impact of the landing.

After he regained his footing, his gaze fell on the wounds on Voyers' armor, and a sense of doubt welled up in his heart.

He clearly remembered that Protoss warriors were usually recalled before they were seriously injured in order to avoid death.

However, Voyles was not recalled. What does this mean? Did his recall system malfunction?

Voel didn't respond to Aiel's questioning gaze; he turned and returned to the Protoss ranks.

“I will go with you.” Just then, the Dark Templar broke his invisibility and appeared before El.

"Ah! Okay, then be careful." El, who was startled by the sudden appearance of the Dark Templar, finally calmed down and said nervously.

The Dark Templar nodded slightly, then transformed into a cloud of black mist and quickly disappeared from El's sight.

Sensing that the Dark Templar had left, El patted his chest lightly, saying with lingering fear, "Couldn't they have spoken properly? That was terrifying..."

However, before he could finish speaking, the voice of the Dark Templar suddenly rang in El's mind: "Our people have always walked in the shadows."

The sudden sound startled El again.

"You haven't left yet..." El looked around cautiously, and after a long time without receiving any response, he finally breathed a sigh of relief.

Seeing El's ridiculous behavior from not far away, Voyers couldn't help but shake his head helplessly, which was one of the reasons why he hated these "heretics".

"High Archbishop, my troops are ready, and the attack force has set off," Valerian said to Artanis over the channel.

"Perfect timing, I've already organized an attack here, let those bastards feel our fury." Renault's voice also rang out in the channel.

Artanis looked at the hybrid Destroyer that Kirsage had punched into a pulp and felt a chill run down his spine. He solemnly said to Raynor, "Raynor, your friend... Kirsage, she's not too... violent, is she?"

Upon hearing Artanis's words, Renault burst into laughter. At that moment, Artanis deeply understood his feelings back then.

"No, no, Kilsaji is a good boy."

Artanis watched as Kirsage tore open the Morbius Foundation's Thor armor with her bare hands and lifted the pilot out like a chick, and felt that she could never be associated with the word "good girl."
