Kilsager and Chat Groups

Chapter 47 The Terrifying Tek Sniper Rifle

Killer: Here, I'll give you some self-defense tools first.

[Killer Claw sent a special red envelope to Tina.]

Tina cautiously leaned out and looked down into the road, her eyes sharp and alert, but she didn't find any suspicious targets or anything unusual.

Then, she quickly retreated into the shadows of the corner, her body blending into the darkness as if she had vanished into thin air.

After confirming that it was temporarily safe, Tina carefully checked the surrounding environment again to make sure that there were no other threats.

Then, she gently opened Kirsa's red envelope, hoping it might bring some help.

Kirsaj: I sent you an adaptive Tek armor set, a Tek sniper rifle, a cryogenic chamber containing a Shadowmane Lion, a cryogenic chamber containing a Void Dolphin, and a box of energy elements.

Kilsager: That should last you a while.

Tina: Thank you.

Kirsaj: Shadow Mane can become invisible and can leap to travel. When the Void Dolphin unfolds its wings, it becomes a small fighter jet.

Kirsa: Except for the Shadow Mane Lions, which only eat meat, the others are powered by energy elements. Of course, they are currently at full energy.

El: Didn't Kil'Sage get a mech?

Kirsa: Let Tina choose the mecha herself.

Reno: The Tek sniper rifle is simply an assassination masterpiece.

Renault: It can see through infrared beams and snipe targets regardless of obstacles.

Seeing the group members' conversation veer off-topic, Tina shook her head helplessly, then turned her gaze to the futuristic Tek sniper rifle in her hand.

She gently stroked the gun, feeling its cold and hard texture, and a strange excitement welled up inside her.

As an energy weapon, the Tek sniper rifle is also a plasma weapon.

This gun is extremely powerful; for carbon-based life forms, it is a deadly weapon.

However, it also has a fatal weakness: it cannot penetrate energy shields.

For Tina, this was like a magical weapon that could kill someone with a single shot at any time without the risk of being discovered.

As for why Reno knew, it was because Kirsaj gave him a Tek replicator containing the blueprints for the Tek sniper rifle.

The Terran Empire currently possesses only a handful of Tek sniper rifles, all of which are in the hands of the absolutely loyal Ghost.

Because the palace has no energy shield, this gun can snipe anyone inside the palace directly from outside the palace.

Renault even complained about it, saying that the gun was practically designed for humans.

Of the three races in the Koprulu Sector, every Protoss has a psionic shield, which makes it impossible for any high-level Zerg units to be easily killed. Only the Terrans are completely defenseless against it.

Kirsage also told Reno some things, such as that the Tek sniper rifle was actually designed for internal warfare.

Upon hearing the news, Renault remained silent for a moment, seemingly lost in thought.

Reno initially thought the Tek sniper rifle was just a powerful weapon, but he never imagined it was designed specifically for humans.

He learned from Kearsarge that the original humans in her world had long been extinct, while their clones were still killing each other and had developed such terrible weapons.

Tina was unaware of all this. She put down her weapon, picked up the Tek sniper rifle, and began to aim.

Through the sniper scope, all the creatures emitting heat were clearly visible and marked in bright light.

When the crosshair is aimed at a creature, the sniper scope will automatically lock onto that creature.

Without needing any guidance, Tina skillfully adjusted the distance display function of the sniper scope, continuously locking and unlocking.

After using it for a while, Tina put down the Tek sniper rifle and sighed deeply.

This gun doesn't have a drop problem, making long-range sniping almost foolproof.

Once it locks onto a target, it also has a slight tracking capability, truly achieving "point and shoot".

It eliminated the vast majority of snipers; even a child who picked it up would become a terrifying assassin.

Tina looked at the Tek armor placed to the side, hesitated for a moment, and then put it on.

The Tek armor, which was originally much larger than her, shrank piece by piece until it fit Tina's body perfectly.

Tina turned her head slightly, but the tactical vision of the Tek helmet seemed to be non-existent, having no impact on her field of vision whatsoever.

Tina tidied up her sniping position and went down the stairs; she no longer needed a high vantage point.

“Scanning initiated.” A line of text appeared in Tina’s field of vision. She looked around and saw that the outline of every creature was marked.

White lines outlined their bodies, their postures, and their movements, all of which were clearly visible to Tina.

"Miss Killer, you really shouldn't mess with her." Tina's lips twitched; now the purpose of training an assassin was completely ruined.

She didn't plan to release the Shadow Mane Lion or the Void Dolphin; she was quite confident in her stealth abilities and combat prowess.

Soon, a distinctly different convoy appeared in her tactical goggles. She raised her Tek sniper rifle and could clearly see the figures of the Holy Emperor and Rentaro beside her.

"Why did you come here?" Tina's hands, gripping the Tek sniper rifle, trembled slightly.

She took a deep breath, locked onto the Holy Emperor's head, hesitated for a moment, then lowered the crosshair and aimed at her arm.

"I'll just be willful this once more," Tina murmured to herself. She didn't actually want to kill the Holy Emperor. "If I do this, I'll definitely disappoint everyone in the chat group."

The sound of the Tek sniper rifle locking onto its target traveled through Tek's helmet to Tina's ears. Tina's eyes hardened, and she pulled the trigger.

A beam of blue light suddenly appeared inside the Holy Emperor's car. The extremely hot plasma burst pierced through her arm, then melted the other side of the car door and passed through.

The plasma cluster collided with the ground and bloomed into a bright blue flower.

The car carrying the Holy Emperor was blown up by the explosion, its left tire was forced off the ground, and the entire car veered off the road and crashed hard into a building on the right.

All of this happened in an instant. The guards had no time to react. They hurriedly formed a makeshift barrier with the cars, and immediately people with shields surrounded the Holy Emperor's vehicle, using their bodies to block her.

"Huh?" Tina hadn't expected the Tek sniper rifle to be so powerful, but now, all she could do was pray that the Holy Emperor would survive.

No one could tell where the attack came from. All the guards looked around nervously, the fear of death lurking nearby making it hard for them to breathe.

"Where is the assassin?" Questions kept rising among the guards, but no one could answer because they had no idea where the attack was coming from.

The guards who inspected the vehicle found no other damage, except for the obvious hole from which molten iron was flowing.

"Judging from the traces, the assassin... launched the attack from underground."

The guards who conducted the inspection concluded that the only possibility was that the assassins had planted landmines, but they had checked the road more than once.

Landmines couldn't possibly evade their inspection completely, and they didn't find any shrapnel in the blast zone or inside the vehicle.

After the attack had been ongoing for some time and the assassins had not made a move, the guards immediately escorted the one-armed emperor away.

No one saw the attack except Rentaro, who saw a beam of light but was completely unable to stop it.

"Tina, is this your choice?" Rentaro knew that with Tina's strength, it was impossible for her to miss; she did it on purpose. However, he didn't know how Tina launched the attack.
