Kilsager and Chat Groups

Chapter 30 The Nostalgic Afterglow of the Sunset

"boom!"

Hercules Mech delivered another powerful punch, slamming it heavily into the head of the Lava Dragon.

After a long close-quarters battle, the Lavasioth was clearly exhausted and its movements gradually slowed down.

Kilsager stared intently at the data panel in front of him, which showed that the Hercules mech had only 10% structural integrity left, and only 10 minutes remaining.

This Hercules mech is not in its complete form, but rather a limited-time summon.

If the Lavasioth still refuses to leave after 5 more minutes, Kil'jaeden will have to activate the second Hercules mech.

"Big Bear!" Amiya gazed at the battlefield, noticing the exhaustion of both sides.

She knew that if things continued like this, Longmen might suffer even greater losses.

So she decided to try communicating with the Lava Dragon herself, hoping to persuade it to give up Lungmen.

“Please take me to the Lava Mountain Head.” Amiya said firmly.

Big Bear turned to look at Amiya, a hint of doubt in his eyes, but he still conveyed Amiya's request to Kirsaj.

"Hmm?" Kirsaj was quite surprised when he heard the request.

She didn't understand Amiya's abilities, and it would be extremely difficult to shake the resolve of the Lava Dragon.

However, considering the current situation, she decided to give Amiya a chance, since resolving the crisis as soon as possible would benefit everyone.

After obtaining Kil'jaeden's permission, Kuma piloted the Tek hovercraft and quickly flew towards the head of the Zorah Magdaros.

They slowly approached and stopped not far from the head of the lava mountain.

The massive body of the Lava Dragon trembled slightly as it panted heavily, its huge eyes blinking wearily, as if it were utterly exhausted.

However, when it caught a glimpse of the approaching Tek hovercraft, it paid no attention to the small object.

Its attention was focused on the Hercules mech, its eyes flashing with vigilance and hostility.

Seeing Amiya and the others approach, Killer Killer stopped attacking and stood quietly in place.

Amiya gracefully leaped off the Tek hovercraft and landed steadily on top of the Lavasioth's head.

She carefully crouched down and gently placed her right hand on the head of the Lava Dragon.

A surge of intense emotions welled up within her; anger, pain, and vigilance washed over her like a tidal wave. Amiya closed her eyes, struggling to withstand the powerful impact of these emotions.

When she opened her eyes again, she saw a black Originium behemoth lower its head and stare at her fiercely.

"Roar!" The behemoth let out a ferocious roar, short and rapid, filled with rage and fury.

Unlike the Lavasioth, it did not emit a melodious roar, but instead was full of aggression.

“Please leave here,” Amiya said softly, her voice calm yet firm.

The giant beast let out a low, mocking laugh, as if laughing at her overestimation of her abilities.

Amiya did not respond or speak further; she simply squatted there silently, waiting for her true master to appear.

Suddenly, a long, low groan emanated from the beast's body, like a call from the abyss.

Immediately afterwards, a red lava behemoth burst through its black body and appeared before Amiya.

Its vast gaze fell upon Amiya, carrying an ancient and majestic aura.

Dragon-attribute energy transformed into lightning, filling the space. The Lava Dragon looked at the tiny humans before it and uttered a questioning sound.

"I hope you can leave here," Amiya pleaded with Lava Dragon again, her voice soft yet firm.

She knew that this ancient behemoth possessed immense power, but at this moment she needed to resolve the issue in a gentler way.

At the same time, she tried her best to appease the Lava Dragon's anger and make it feel her goodwill.

Feeling his negative emotions fading away, Lava Dragon quietly looked at Amiya.

Its enormous eyes gleamed with a complex light, as if it were pondering something.

Amiya responded with a resolute gaze, as if telling the Lava Dragon that if it didn't leave, she wouldn't leave either.

And so, the man and the dragon stared at each other for a while.

Finally, the Lava Dragon withdrew its gaze and began to slowly move its weary body. It understood Amiya's meaning and no longer wanted to fight the Hercules Mech.

When Kearj, who was confronting the Lavasioth, saw the Lavasioth make a move, he immediately became alert and prepared to deal with any possible situation.

However, the Lava Dragon did not attack her. Instead, it turned around in front of her, lowered its body, landed on all fours, and headed towards the second high-energy location it sensed.

With the departure of the Lava Dragon, it stopped spewing lava, and the dark clouds that had covered the sky gradually dissipated, allowing the sun to shine on the earth once again.

The land finally returned to peace, as if nothing had ever happened.

Back on the Tek hovercraft, Amiya watched the sunset cast its glow on the massive body of the Lavasioth and a pang of sadness welled up in her heart.

She knew that this encounter with Lava Dragon was just an interlude in her life, but the experience was deeply imprinted in her memory.

The enormous lava dragon strode with heavy steps, each step causing the earth to tremble. Its massive body, bathed in sunlight, appeared exceptionally magnificent.

However, the direction it took was unexpected—Chernoberg.

Ursus's inner guard stood on high ground, keeping a close eye on the Lava Dragon's movements.

His voice grew serious: "Where is it going?"

As the Lavasioth disappeared into the distance, he finally concluded, "It's going to escape!"

The Ursus officer's face also turned extremely gloomy. He looked at the lava dragon gradually disappearing into the distance, his heart filled with resentment and anger.

Just then, a soldier rushed in to report: "Sir! The Lavasioth is heading towards Chernobog!"

The news shocked the Ursus officer. His eyes widened, and he asked incredulously, "What?"

Exclamations of surprise echoed from Chernobog as people looked into the distance to see the dark clouds gradually dissipating, revealing a clear blue sky.

Talulah on the bridge frowned; she sensed something was amiss.

"Could Wei Yanwu really be capable of killing that giant beast?" Talulah wondered to herself.

She knew all too well the power of this behemoth; even the Wendigo Legion of yesteryear had found it difficult to defeat easily.

Just as Talulah was lost in thought, a communication from the Ursus nobles suddenly came through.

She squinted and answered the call.

The other person's voice was filled with anxiety and anger: "Koschke! That beast has escaped and is now heading towards Chernobog!" Talulah could sense the other person's gritted teeth through the walkie-talkie.

Clearly, the Ursus nobles gained nothing from this operation; they not only failed to reap any benefits but also paid a heavy price.

"Heh." Talulah had no good feelings towards these nobles; they were just a bunch of useless people who held positions without doing any work.

But she needs their strength now. She was also quite surprised by this defeat. She needs to fatten these guys up first.
