Chapter 287 Everything is in line with the plan
"What kind of things have you been feeding them?" Tarachin crossed his arms, looking at the Khorne cans that were brutally beating the Jedi Knights with a suspicious expression, as if he was very surprised by the scene before him.
Kirsaj clapped his hands leisurely, then turned his gaze to the Khorne cans who were using Soul 5 techniques with consummate skill. A satisfied smile appeared on his lips: "Just a desire for victory."
After hearing this, Tarasin shrugged dismissively, seemingly unconcerned about the answer. He said nonchalantly, "Anyway, you're practically the Blood God of this universe now, so do whatever you want with me."
However, Kirsaji was not as relaxed as Tarasin. Her brows furrowed slightly as she looked thoughtfully at the empty void, letting out a soft "tsk".
The faint sound did not escape Tarasin's ears. She immediately noticed Kirsar's troubles and a hint of surprise appeared on her face as she asked curiously, "What's wrong? Has our Tzeentch, the Eternal Chosen, failed us?"
Kirsaj slowly shook his head and explained, "No, it's just that the effect is a little too good."
"Oh?" Tarasin's interest was piqued, and he pressed on, "What do you mean?"
Kilsazzi continued, "Logically speaking, the Confederate fleet should have already been attacked by the Galactic Republic's reinforcements, but strangely, they haven't arrived yet."
Taracin wasn't too surprised by this situation, after all, she had witnessed the "amazing" efficiency of the human empire, so it was perfectly reasonable that the Galactic Republic's reaction speed was slower in comparison.
“Or perhaps the people of those independent star systems confederation deployed some kind of new type of shielding device… No, they didn’t,” Kilsazzi muttered to herself, a sense that something was amiss.
Given the efficiency and strength of the clone army, they shouldn't be reacting so slowly.
There must have been a change in some factor that led to this result.
“Why don’t you use your magical eyes to take a look?” Tarasin suggested from the side.
He was referring to the Tzeentch Eye, which Kirsaji possesses—a powerful artifact that allows one to see reality across the river of time.
Kirsa hesitated for a moment, considering whether to use Tzeentch's Eye to find out what was going on.
However, she ultimately decided to give up the idea.
Wouldn't it be too boring if everything could be easily known through Tzeentch's Eye? Unless absolutely necessary, she prefers to unravel mysteries through her own observation and reasoning.
Just as Kearsarge was pondering this, suddenly, one after another, the Jagdpanzer-class cruisers jumped onto Coruscant's high-altitude orbit without any apparent pattern.
The appearance of these cruisers seemed unusually abrupt, and their actions did not follow any established tactics or strategies.
Kilsage stared at the cruisers; she could see clear signs of battle on their hulls.
This made her frown deeply, and her doubts deepened.
"I'd like to see who's sabotaging my plans," Kirsaj said through gritted teeth.
She gripped the double-headed raven ornament tightly in her hand, and her gaze began to drift back.
Her gaze was drawn to a scene in the distance—a Republic fleet had collided with a pod of enormous space whales.
"No, how did these things get here?" Kirsage began to trace the movement of the space whale pod, and then discovered that the psionic energy that had inexplicably dissipated when she teleported the Confederate fleet had encountered these space behemoths.
Then, through a series of coincidences, this group of space behemoths blocked the Galactic Republic fleet's return route.
And so, the Galactic Republic's reinforcement fleet, which should have arrived on time, was gloriously late.
This delay allowed Confederate forces to launch a fierce attack on Coruscant without restraint, and the prolonged bombardment caused enormous damage to the planet.
Worse still, the Confederate attack not only caused massive material losses but also successfully killed many Jedi Knights.
These valiant warriors suffered heavy losses when caught off guard, dealing a devastating blow to the Galactic Republic.
Originally, the purpose of this battle was to break the stalemate on the main battlefield, to force the Confederacy into a war of attrition against the Galactic Republic on Coruscant, and to severely damage both sides.
However, due to the late arrival of the Galactic Republic's reinforcement fleet, the Confederate fleet had already successfully completed its objectives and was ready to withdraw from the battlefield at any time.
From the perspective of the Independent Galaxy Confederation, the raid was flawless. Their plan was executed smoothly, all thanks to the powerful Sith Lord.
When the Confederate forces discovered that the number of Jaeger-class cruisers that had come to reinforce them was not large, they quickly made a decision: to send their fleet to launch a preemptive strike and destroy the Republic fleet that had come to their aid.
At the same time, a large number of landing ships began to land on Coruscant, preparing to capture all members of the Galactic Republic Council as hostages.
"Why did it turn out like this? Is this the curse of the prison?" Killer Sage murmured expressionlessly.
Just then, a rapid communication notification sounded, interrupting Kirsar's thoughts.
Upon closer inspection, she realized it was a communication request from the Independent Galaxy Confederation.
After a brief hesitation, Kilsager decided to make the call.
As the communication screen unfolded, a group of Confederate senators from independent star systems appeared before her, their faces beaming with joy.
“Great Lord Sith!” a councilor exclaimed excitedly, “Your plan is absolutely flawless! Our warships emerged unscathed from this surprise attack!”
“Yes, you are the perfect embodiment of wisdom and strength!” another member of parliament echoed.
Following this, more members of parliament joined in praising Khir Sarge, showering her with compliments.
However, despite the overwhelming flattery, Kirsar remained expressionless, as if the praise meant nothing to her.
Finally, amidst the cheers of the crowd, Kirsage spoke slowly, her voice low and calm: "Yes, everything is going according to plan."
Upon hearing this, the members of the Independent Galaxy Confederation were taken aback at first, and then burst into an even more enthusiastic cheer.
They became increasingly convinced that their judgment was correct, that the person in front of them, Kirsa, was the true Sith Lord, and that they had been living such miserable lives before!
This successful raid could very well plunge the Galactic Republic into internal division, thus creating an excellent opportunity for the Independent Galaxy Confederation to become a superpower that unifies the galaxy.
"Does your space horde need our assistance in replenishing it? Or do you require some resource support?" the Independent Galaxy Confederation senator asked with a broad smile, as if the help he offered was a trivial matter.
However, Kirsar's reaction was completely unexpected.
Kirsa's lips twitched slightly, as if he was annoyed by the question.
But in the end, she suppressed her displeasure and simply replied, "They're just a bunch of tempted beasts."
After saying this, Kilsager hung up the communication without hesitation; she really didn't want to see these congressmen again.
However, when she turned to look at Tarasin beside her, she found that he was clearly suppressing a laugh, which made Kirsaji both amused and exasperated.
"Laugh if you want, anyway... it's all part of the plan."
