Kilsager and Chat Groups
Chapter 196 Jadin Takes on the Childcare Task
“This is indeed the first time I’ve met such a special employer as you.” Jadin followed closely behind Kilsaji’s tall figure, his eyes curiously taking in the ecozone that had just been de-fortified.
Suddenly, Kilsager stopped, turned around, smiled, and walked backwards to face Jadin, saying slowly, "The welcome gift for our group is a mecha sponsored by me. However, if you have any other special needs or ideas, you can go directly to El. He is the most professional mecha designer in our group."
Hearing this, Jading couldn't help but feel a little puzzled. Normally, these people would only approach him to ask him to complete some kind of commission, but their current enthusiasm and generosity were quite unexpected.
Could there be some unknown secret or purpose hidden within?
Just as Jadin was pondering to himself, a huge hangar, hundreds of meters tall and resembling a steel behemoth, suddenly appeared before his eyes.
Gazing at the magnificent building, Jadin was momentarily stunned.
Then, he thought again and realized that he didn't seem to have anything valuable on him that these people would covet. So he took a deep breath, calmed himself down, and resolutely continued to follow Kirsaji.
At that moment, Kirsaji whispered to HLN-A, which was hovering beside her, "HLN-A, please retrieve the relevant database for me."
As soon as he finished speaking, HLN-A immediately responded to Kearsarge's command and quickly projected a transparent blue light screen in mid-air.
Immediately afterwards, Kirsajarn waved his arm and moved the light screen in front of Jadin.
Almost at the same instant, the heavy metal doors of the enormous hangar began to slowly open to both sides, accompanied by a deep and awe-inspiring mechanical roar.
"By the way, the planetary suppression ship I mentioned before that I would provide to you is currently undergoing refitting. Once all the refitting is completed smoothly, it will be sailed here!" As Kilsaji spoke, he couldn't help but imagine Jadin's reaction when they saw his image at this moment after they had become familiar with each other, and he secretly looked forward to it.
In order to play a good prank on Jadin, the newcomer to the chat group, everyone made an interesting decision after some discussion: to give Jadin a special mission—to protect El and Tina and take them on a wonderful journey to his universe.
The reward for this mission was a meticulously modified planetary suppression ship, the "Wanderer".
Although this warship is only a little over 300 meters long, don't underestimate it. In the future, it will become an important means of transportation for these three people to travel freely in the vast universe.
Just then, Jading was seen struggling to find a suitable mech among the dazzling array of mechs on the screen.
Finally, his hard work paid off, and he successfully found a model that satisfied him among many mechs - Wing Zero Mod.
Perhaps because he was overwhelmed by the sheer number of mechs in front of him, Jadin just wanted to quickly choose a target and end this difficult journey of selection.
"Huh? You chose Wing Zero?" Killer smiled slightly upon seeing this, and then issued a command to the hangar through his mind.
In an instant, four small and agile drones sped toward the location where the Wing Zero Gundam was placed, like arrows released from a bow.
In no time, these drones landed steadily next to the Flying Wing Zero.
"Wait a moment, these drones will deliver the Wing Zero Gundam to you, and then you can personally board the cabin and try it out!" Killer said to Jadin with great joy. She had made extensive modifications to this Gundam and was looking forward to seeing what kind of sparks Jadin and the Wing Zero would create.
Jading nodded slightly in agreement, secretly relieved that he had finally found a mecha with relatively low requirements for the pilot.
He kept his distance from those things that were all equipped with demonic engines and required psionic potential or a specific physique to control, and didn't want to provoke them at all.
Just then, El strode out of the hangar.
His eyes were sharp, and he instantly spotted Jading standing there. He then excitedly raised his hand and shouted, "Hey! Uncle! Where's your mech?"
Jadin glanced at El expressionlessly and replied succinctly, "Still en route."
As he spoke, he caught a glimpse out of the corner of his eye of a small dot flashing blue light rapidly approaching him.
As the blue dot of light drew closer, Jadin gradually realized that it was a blue and white mech hurtling towards him at breakneck speed.
This mech is the Strike Freedom, piloted by Tina. It is surrounded by two layers of indestructible void shields and a dazzling psionic shield. Such powerful protective configuration makes it far surpass the original version.
When the imposing Strike Freedom landed steadily beside Jadin, a strong sense of oppression washed over him.
Jadin stared blankly at the enormous thing before him, and only then did he awaken from his dream, deeply feeling as if he had acquired an extremely powerful and invincible deadly weapon.
Tina's clear and melodious voice came from the Strike Freedom's loudspeaker: "'Freedom' is ready and can depart at any time."
"Looks like I'm almost there too." Aiur saw a blue dot in the distance, which was the prototype of the mech he built while studying at the Spear of Adun—the Templar Guardian, also known as "Aier's Guardian" by the Protoss.
As a psionic mech, "El Guardian" is equipped with the same psionic amplifier as Archbishop Artanis. She only has one layer of Void Shield, but the strength of her psionic shield is enough to make up for the lack of Void Shield.
White and gold are the main colors of this mecha, and she is adorned with azure Kedarin crystals, making her look like an elegant and holy knight.
Not long after the "El Guard" landed, the Wing Zero was transported here by four drones.
As a Gundam known for its famous shedding of feathers, El had heard of it, but he didn't want to express any opinion.
"Aren't you going to take off your helmet? It looks really stuffy on you." Kirsaji looked at Jadin's armor, which lacked any technological sophistication.
“The Mandalorian won’t show his face,” Jadin replied.
Meanwhile, the specially equipped planetary suppression ship "Wanderer" also passed through the airtight shield and entered the ecological zone. Tina and El activated their respective mechs and flew towards the Wanderer.
Jadin boarded the Wing Zero Gundam and prepared to activate it according to the instructions.
"Pilot, should we initiate a self-check?" asked the AI 'Wing' onboard the Wing Zero.
"Start the self-check, then take off. We're on board." Jadin nodded.
