Just then, a panicked alarm blared throughout the entire Chaos Fleet: "Commander! Our fleet is under attack!"

In an instant, countless cannons and spears rained down like a storm, instantly tearing several warships on the outer edge of the Chaos Fleet to shreds.

The dazzling flames shot into the sky, illuminating the dark universe and plunging many chaotic warships into panic and chaos.

Faced with such a fierce attack, Abaddon stared grimly at the still proudly standing planet of Cardia, his heart filled with resentment and anger.

"All fleets, conceal your positions and do not let the Chaos ships detect you," Spiel decisively ordered. His flagship, the Guardian of Justice, had already hidden in a nebula before the Chaos fleet arrived.

His assembled fleet was not large, and intercepting such a Chaos fleet would be tantamount to throwing an egg against a rock. However, he could take advantage of the different speeds of the Chaos fleet to hunt down some lone Chaos warships.

"We have very few warships, but Abaddon doesn't know that."

"Commander, thanks to the blessing of our Father, our losses were less than expected," a Dark Mechanicus cyborg priest reported.

"Have Frikan bring his fleet over here," Abaddon calmly ordered. If all else fails, he can always gather the Chaos fleets from all over the Shield of Dread.

"Yes... there are numerous signals from the Imperial fleet on the divination box." Just as the Mechanic was about to leave, the Vengeful Spirit's divination box immediately sent bad news.

"There are a large number of Imperial warships here. Did they know all along?" Abaddon's face turned grim.

"Perhaps we must evacuate this star system as soon as possible; there may be an ambush here."
