Akutagawa, Ryunosuke, and Atsushi Nakajima returned, and as usual, the two followed Edogawa Ranpo around, busying themselves with his affairs.

To them, destroying the Black Organization was like doing a trivial matter, and they didn't take it to heart at all.

At Poirot Cafe, Conan appeared in the store like an NPC that refreshes at the exact time, and then he ran into Edogawa Ranpo and his two companions.

So he braced himself, ignoring Edogawa Ranpo's all-knowing gaze, and went over to try and get closer to them.

For some reason, he had a feeling that they knew something about the Black Organization's downfall.

"Hey, Ranpo-nii, so your detective club is called the Armed Detective Club."

"Why is it called that? What does 'armed' mean here?"

Conan pondered the word "armed" in his mind; most detective agencies in Tokyo are named after detectives.

For example, Uncle Mori's detective agency is called Mori Detective Agency.

The name Armed Detective Agency does sound rather strange.

Edogawa Ranpo glanced at the seemingly innocent Conan, then silently turned his head away.

He wouldn't play with a lying fake kid, but since Conan called him "brother," he reluctantly allowed him to sit at the same table with them.

"..."

Edogawa Ranpo remained silent, and the air suddenly became quiet.

Conan's smile froze, and he thought to himself, "Oh no, did I say something wrong?"

His smile gradually faded, and he said cautiously, "I'm sorry, Ranpo-nii... should I not have asked that question?"

Silence... a deathly silence. Edogawa Ranpo completely ignored Conan and buried himself in his food.

Ryunosuke Akutagawa stared at Conan expressionlessly, his eyes extremely sharp. He wasn't targeting Conan, but he treated everyone who approached Edogawa Ranpo the same way.

He is tasked with protecting Mr. Ranpo, and he will complete this mission perfectly, ensuring that Mr. Ranpo suffers no harm whatsoever.

However, Conan interpreted his behavior as a sign that the short-tempered Mr. Akutagawa was angry. Conan felt uneasy under his gaze and almost jumped off the sofa and ran away.

"Ah, this 'armed' thing is exactly what it sounds like."

"Our detective agency only has one detective, Mr. Ranpo. We're just his bodyguards. Conan-kun, do you understand what I mean?"

Atsushi Nakajima's voice rang out, and Conan felt as if he were hearing heavenly music. Great, finally someone broke the awkward silence.

"Wow... I see, that sounds so cool."

Conan gave Nakajima Atsushi a grateful look, silently thinking, 'Nakajima-kun is such a good person.'

"I heard that Conan also likes deduction. He often helps the police solve cases at a young age. He will definitely be a great detective when he grows up."

Atsushi Nakajima, with his warm and cheerful demeanor, chatted enthusiastically with Conan.

------

Conan watched Edogawa Ranpo and the others leave with blank eyes. Good heavens, Nakajima Atsushi was too enthusiastic; once he started talking, he never stopped.

He didn't get the information he wanted, but he did learn a lot about the criminal cases that Edogawa Ranpo helped the police solve...

He finally understood that none of these three people were simple.

Edogawa Ranpo could see right through what he was thinking, while Akutagawa's fierce and menacing appearance made people want to stay away.

As for Atsushi Nakajima, who seemed the easiest to approach, he was indeed quite easy to get along with, but he talked too much. Several times when he tried to get information out of him, he was interrupted, and Conan even suspected that he was doing it on purpose.

Forget it, instead of wasting his time here, he might as well go ask Mr. Okiya if he has any new information.

I wonder how Mr. Amuro is doing. The Black Organization has been destroyed, so how come he has disappeared?
