Speaking of friendship, we must talk about the things between Zhang Cong, Lu Rong, and Liu Ling! Lu Rong and Liu Ling are both daughters of cadres who came south!

Let's start with Lu Rong. Her parents are from Shandong. And then look at Liu Ling. Her ancestors came from Tieling, Liaoning!

Back then, their parents followed the 47th Army of the Fourth Field Army, marching south with great pride and high spirits, all the way to western Hunan. After successfully liberating Dayong County, these revolutionary predecessors resolutely decided to settle down there and dedicate themselves to the local construction work!

I must say, these two girls are absolutely gorgeous!

Each of them had eyebrows like distant mountains, eyes like autumn waves, straight noses, rosy lips, and skin as white as snow. Moreover, they were all tall and slender, graceful and elegant, a truly beautiful sight to behold when they walked down the street!

Perhaps it's because of the excellent genes of northern ethnic groups, but these two young ladies are not only much taller than the local girls, but each of them easily exceeds 170 centimeters in height!

And look at their personalities, they are so cheerful and lively, always chattering like two happy little birds.

In contrast, it was quite rare for local girls to be over 160 centimeters tall in the 1980s! And most local girls were also more introverted and reserved, unlike Lu Rong and Liu Ling who were more outgoing and friendly.

Although the three of them didn't work in the same government agency, they maintained a very close relationship! Zhang Cong was responsible for important news and publicity work in the county's publicity department;

Lu Rong was busy greeting and seeing off guests at the front desk of the county government guesthouse; while Liu Ling was using her professional skills at the Construction Bank to provide high-quality financial services to everyone.

Despite working in different locations, this has not affected their deep friendship at all!

There were two young, beautiful, and energetic ladies, both a year or two older than Zhang Cong.

Because of her strong interest in basketball and her extraordinary talent, coupled with her persistent training, she has developed superb basketball skills and naturally became a core player of the county's women's basketball team.

The story of how the three of them met dates back to that special May Fourth Youth Day in 1983.

At that time, the Youth League branch of the county party committee meticulously planned and organized a unique outdoor social event. In addition to the county party committee offices, the guesthouse and the bank also participated in the event.

There's a reason why we chose to hold these social events with these organizations! Well, the situation in the county government offices is rather unique: there are many young men but very few young women. In stark contrast, the guesthouse and the bank have far more young women than young men.

It was precisely this complementary difference in personnel structure that led to this networking event.

The purpose is to enhance understanding and friendship among young people from different organizations through such diverse exchanges and interactions. Perhaps it will even lead to some beautiful marriages, allowing lovers to become husband and wife and build happy and fulfilling families. This is truly a great thing!

As for the specific arrangements for this social event, it was to climb Tianmen Mountain, located at the southern end of the county town.

This towering mountain, majestic and magnificent, is a famous scenic spot in the area. It is called Tianmen Mountain because a huge natural cave opens up at the bottom of the summit, like a gateway to a fairyland, which is breathtaking.

Tianmen Mountain boasts an extremely long and rich history. As early as the pre-Qin period, humans had already settled and lived here. Due to its crucial geographical location, it has been a vital transportation hub connecting western Hunan since ancient times.

Throughout history, countless ancient literati and scholars have been attracted by the magnificent scenery of Tianmen Mountain, flocking here to travel and leaving behind many invaluable poems and songs.

These works, like twinkling stars, adorn the cultural scroll of Tianmen Mountain, making this famous mountain even more culturally rich and artistically charming.

Today, Tianmen Mountain has become a world-renowned tourist destination, attracting numerous tourists from all over the world who come to experience its unique natural scenery and profound cultural heritage.

Tianmen Mountain, the highest mountain range in the area, soars into the clouds, majestic and magnificent, with its main peak reaching over 1200 meters. From a distance, it resembles a giant pillar piercing straight into the sky.

Especially after the rain has stopped and the sun shines down, a layer of purple mist rises from the mountain peaks, creating a dreamlike scene. The renowned Tianmen Cave, enveloped in this purple mist, appears and disappears, becoming even more mysterious and alluring, inspiring a sense of longing in all who behold it.

In the 1980s, this magical land had not yet undergone large-scale development and utilization, and still maintained its original natural appearance. Lush forests, babbling streams, birdsong and fragrant flowers, everywhere exuded the most authentic and wild beauty of nature.

Tianmen Cave is undoubtedly one of the most iconic attractions of Tianmen Mountain. This cave is not only tall and spacious, but also has a unique internal structure and a charming scenery.

Whenever clouds and mist rise and envelop the entire cave entrance, people often have the illusion that there are immortals cultivating themselves here, giving rise to a sense of mystery and unpredictability.

Besides these, Tianmen Mountain boasts many other attractions worth visiting, such as the serene Guanyin Cave and the antique Tianmen Academy. Each site carries a rich historical memory and a profound cultural atmosphere, captivating visitors and making them reluctant to leave.
