As the three approached an office, Wang Lu whispered a reminder to Chen Shu.

"it is good."

Chen Shu gave a brief response, then kicked the office door without hesitation.

The wooden door shattered instantly in two under the immense impact, scattering fragments everywhere. Inside the office, Xie Yu was sitting at his desk when he heard the loud noise and looked up abruptly, his face filled with shock.

He watched Chen Shu and the other two walk in, especially Chen Shu, who was very familiar to him. The two behind Chen Shu, Wang Lu and Fang Yanghui, although they had been Night Watchmen, had always been unconventional in the Fasting House, and Xie Yu also had some impression of them.

"What are you doing?!" Xie Yu suddenly stood up, his voice filled with anger and a hint of panic. "Didn't the prison guards already send all the prisoners back to their cells? Do you know how serious a crime an escape is?"

He paused, his gaze fixed on Chen Shu. "And you, Chen Shu, why don't you go back to the mental hospital? Don't you know how dangerous it is outside?"

Chen Shu ignored his questioning, walked straight to a chair, swaggered down, and stared coldly at Xie Yu.

"How much benefit did the dream give you? Is it worth risking your life for him like this?" Chen Shu asked directly, his tone laced with sarcasm.

Xie Yu's face turned pale instantly, clearly not expecting Chen Shu to expose his identity so directly. His fingers trembled slightly, and his lips moved, but he couldn't utter a word for a moment.

He knew that if Chen Shu didn't have solid evidence, he might still have a chance to escape, but now, the situation was clearly not good.

"You...you're talking nonsense!" Xie Yu tried to remain calm, but his voice trembled slightly. "I, Xie Yu, have worked diligently in the fasting center all these years. How could I possibly be a spy for the Church of the Ancient Gods? This is slander!"

Chen Shu sneered, clearly not wanting to waste any more time with him. He stood up, his gaze sharp as a knife. "Forget it, I don't have time for your nonsense. I need the key to the cell where Saul is being held. Hand it over now."

Xie Yu's face grew even uglier. He gritted his teeth and retorted fiercely, "Sol? No way! Letting him out will cause a huge problem at the fasting monastery! You're courting disaster!"

Looking at his "righteous" demeanor, Chen Shu felt a surge of anger. He'd already been exposed, yet he was still putting on an act; it was utterly ridiculous.

"Take it yourself, or should I kill you and you find it yourself?" Chen Shu's voice was icy cold. He slowly raised his right hand and suddenly clenched it. In an instant, a Thunder God Spear materialized in his hand, golden divine lightning swirling wildly in the air like snakes, crackling with each beat.

Wang Lu and Fang Yanghui, standing behind Chen Shu, were stunned by what they saw. They exchanged a glance, both seeing disbelief in each other's eyes.

The energy contained in that "divine spear" was far beyond what an ordinary "Chuan" realm cultivator could withstand!

Xie Yu's gaze met Chen Shu's eyes, which contained the "Law of Thunder," and he immediately felt a threat of death looming over him.

"Save your nonsense for when you get to the King of Hell." Chen Shu sneered, and with a casual wave of his hand, the golden spear pierced Xie Yu's chest.

Xie Yu's body stiffened for a moment, then he collapsed to the ground, his eyes still filled with disbelief.

"Let's go, we still have to..." Chen Shu turned to Wang Lu and Fang Yanghui and said, but he stopped abruptly after saying only half of his sentence.

A man in a white coat was standing at the office door.

He had his hands in his pockets, a half-smile on his face, his gaze sweeping back and forth between Chen Shu and Xie Yu on the ground.

"So that's why you didn't go back to the hospital, you came here instead." Li Yangguang's voice was light and airy, as if everything before him was irrelevant. He glanced casually at Xie Yu, who had already lost his life, his tone tinged with a hint of mockery.

"Dean Li, what's this?" Chen Shu asked calmly, putting the key he had just received into his system space. He knew that Li Yangguang's appearance here was no coincidence.

"It's alright, you've already done what I wanted to do for me." Li Yangguang smiled slightly, stepped aside to make way for Chen Shu, indicating that he could leave.

"You're letting me go like that?" Chen Shu was somewhat surprised, his brows furrowing slightly. Li Yangguang's attitude made him feel uneasy, as if this was all a trap.

“I’m the dean, not the warden,” Li Yangguang said calmly, his tone tinged with aloofness. “I’m not interested in your affairs.”

Chen Shu was silent for a moment, then finally nodded, "...Mm."

He didn't say anything more and left the office with Wang Lu and Fang Yanghui.

After leaving the office, Chen Shu stopped and turned back to the two men, saying, "By now, most of the prisoners have probably escaped. You two do what you want, and I'll come find you in a bit."

"Understood." Wang Lu nodded.

“No problem,” Fang Yanghui replied.

Although they had taken off their Night's Watch cloaks, deep down they still considered themselves Night's Watchmen. Now that the Fasting Lodge was in chaos, they naturally could not stand idly by.

After parting ways with Chen Shu, Wang Lu and Fang Yanghui rushed to the gate of the fasting center. When they arrived, the scene before them made their hearts sink.

Outside the gates of the fasting camp, the deafening roar of cannons and screams filled the air. Large numbers of prisoners surged toward the gates like a tidal wave, charging fearlessly against the defenses.

Although the tanks and armored vehicles had a dense barrage of artillery fire, it could only barely slow them down.

The real pressure fell on the small number of Night's Watchmen, who fought with all their might to hold this last line of defense.

Wang Lu and Fang Yanghui exchanged a glance, understanding that the real battle had only just begun.

Those prisoners with lower levels of understanding or simple minds were merely cannon fodder; the truly powerful ones were still watching from the rear, waiting for the moment when the defense line would be torn apart.

"Prepare for battle," Wang Lu said in a low voice.

Fang Yanghui nodded, his gaze resolute. "For the Great Xia, for the Night Watchmen."

The two rushed to the battlefield without hesitation.
