Previously, to avoid any mistakes, they wanted to separate the Desire Gem from Wendy's body first before making any further plans. However, given the current situation, Chenyuan was no longer willing to give it a friendly look.

The symbiote, which had been wrapped around the Gem of Desire, no longer intended to pull it out, but instead surged wildly into the Gem of Desire's interior. The original bluish-green light was instantly stained pitch black.

The interior of the gemstone seemed like a bottomless abyss. The symbiotic tentacles of the mortal realm were drawn in by a powerful suction the moment they entered, quickly penetrating deeper into it.

"Wendy, you have to hold on..." she muttered to herself. More and more symbiotes invaded the interior of the Desire Gem, gripping its core like iron clamps.

"Quiet down!" Chen Yuan roared, and the symbiote's tentacles suddenly erupted with even greater power, completely enveloping the core of the Desire Gem.

The brilliance of the gemstone gradually dimmed under the pressure of the symbiotic tentacles of the mortal realm, eventually becoming barely perceptible. Sensing that the power within the gemstone had been completely suppressed, it breathed a sigh of relief.

"It's finally over." With Chen Yuan's murmur, the core of the Gem of Desire was completely shattered in that instant, turning into countless tiny fragments, which were quickly absorbed and assimilated by the symbiotic tentacles.

After everything returned to normal, Chenyuan withdrew from the symbiotic relationship and collapsed onto Wendy's stomach. He only felt that his stomach was very full, a feeling he had never experienced since arriving in the Honkai world.

To be honest, this symbiote isn't quite like a symbiote; it doesn't have the same level of need for certain special substances as Venom in the movies. However, it can still draw nutrients from the human body. (See Chapter 14 for details.)

"Is the karmic bond over?" Theresa put away Judas and carefully lifted Chenyuan up. "Do you sense anything is amiss?"

"It's alright, it's alright. I've already absorbed the Gem of Desire, it just needs some time to digest." Chen Yuan let out a burp and waved his hand.

"To be honest, that really startled me." Himeko breathed a sigh of relief as she sheathed her greatsword. "If a Herrscher had jumped out at that moment, it wouldn't have been fun. By the way, how's Wendy?"

'Even if a Herrscher appears, there's still you and Theresa~' She silently cursed Himeko in her heart. If Wendy really became a Herrscher, even without the Worldly Bond, it wouldn't matter.

Although she still needs a few more days to recover before she can live like a normal person, she can already stand and walk without any problems.
