The discussion about Theresa grew louder among the crowd, while Chen Yuan sat on Theresa's shoulders, quietly watching her. "Feeling much better now?"

Theresa stretched, her anger gradually fading. Hearing Chen Yuan's words, she turned her head, a slight smile playing on her lips. "Hmm, I feel much better. But... these guys are really weak."

“Nonsense, these are just ordinary people, how could they compare to you?” She rolled her eyes at Theresa, then continued, “Go check on that 'child'.”

Theresa nodded upon hearing this and turned to look at Otto. Noticing Theresa's gaze, Otto immediately changed his demeanor, crouching down and saying pitifully, "So scary... these uncles are so scary!"

Otto was no longer the indifferent man he had been before. To be fair, his acting was excellent; a few more tears would have made it perfect. Chen Yuan would give him a 9 out of 10 for this performance, deducting one point to prevent him from becoming arrogant.

“Why do I feel like…you look familiar?” Theresa looked at Otto in front of her, and the more she looked, the more familiar he seemed, but she couldn’t quite put her finger on it.

After thinking for a while without figuring it out, Theresa simply stopped thinking about it. She walked up to Otto and asked softly, "Little boy, are you alright? What's your name, and why are these people trying to capture you?"

Otto feigned fear, shook his head, and tears welled up in his eyes, but he stubbornly refused to let them fall. "My name is Oya. Those uncles suddenly appeared and said they were going to take me to a very far place… I'm so scared…"

Upon hearing this, the police nodded and then ordered the other officers to handcuff the men in black lying on the ground one by one and remove them from the scene. One officer stepped forward and 'carefully' examined 'Aoya's' condition.

Otto feigned shock, clutching Theresa's clothes tightly, looking utterly terrified. Seeing this, Theresa gently comforted him, "Don't be afraid, they've been arrested, no one will hurt you anymore."

As the police handled the situation, the scene gradually returned to calm. The onlookers were persuaded to leave, and the men in black were taken away, leaving only Theresa, Chenyuan, and Otto.

After the police left, Theresa looked at Otto and asked softly, "You're all alone here. Where are your family? Do you want me to help you look for them?"

"My mom and dad work here. They told me to play here first, and they'll pick me up after they get off work in the evening..." Otto answered haltingly, his voice trembling slightly, still maintaining that pitiful appearance.

“Let’s bring her along and play with us first. She looks so pitiful.” Chen Yuan rolled his eyes at Otto and said to Theresa, “Let’s take her to her parents’ place tonight and then go back to the hotel.”

It wasn't that Chen Yuan wanted to bring Otto along, but rather that without him, who knew what kind of trouble he might cause? Bringing her along was the safest option.

The three re-entered the bustling amusement park. The surrounding tourists seemed to have forgotten what had just happened, and laughter filled the air once again.

"Plan worked!" Otto breathed a sigh of relief; the plan had gone very smoothly. Although Theresa's sudden appearance was unexpected, things went well afterwards.

But to Otto's utter surprise, the next few hours would be a hellish experience.

“You have no idea how annoying my grandfather is!” A few hours later, Theresa and Otto sat on a bench, each holding an ice cream.

Completely oblivious to Otto's stunned expression, Theresa continued eating, swinging her legs as she spoke. "All you do is come here all the time instead of working properly. We eat together, watch TV together, and even play games together!"

Chen Yuan listened with great amusement, especially when combined with Otto's expression, it was just too funny.

Otto's expression was quite interesting: first, he was stunned, then a little embarrassed, and finally, he gave a wry smile. He hadn't expected Theresa to criticize him so directly, and so vividly at that.

“Yes, he likes me, and I like him too, but sometimes he’s really too clingy.” Theresa shrugged and continued, “We’re both grown up, but he’s still like a child.”

'If you knew that the 'Oya' you were chatting with was the 'clingy grandpa' you were talking about, what would your reaction be...?' Otto smiled bitterly, feeling like he had been hit with a million points of damage.

Theresa was completely unaware that she was complaining about Otto. While licking the ice cream in her hand, she continued, "And what's more, he always likes to give me all sorts of weird tasks, saying it's to train me, but it's really just because he's bored."

"What kind of stupid task is it to finish a whole plate of vegetables?!" Theresa jumped to the ground, stomping her feet angrily. "I think Grandpa just doesn't like it, so he threw it at me and made me eat it!!!"

Seeing Theresa's angry expression, Otto felt a mix of emotions. He had never imagined he would appear this way in front of his granddaughter. He had thought he could easily play with Theresa, but now he was finding it somewhat agonizing.

Hearing this, Otto breathed a sigh of relief, knowing that Theresa didn't dislike him because of it. Moreover, hearing Theresa say she admired him gave him a strange feeling, just like when he first met Karen.

After reaching behind his back and making a gesture, a man and a woman immediately ran over from a distance, repeatedly calling out the name 'Aoya'.

Theresa, of course, heard the voices too. Seeing the man and woman running towards them, she immediately understood. She stood up, pulled Otto to his feet, and excitedly exclaimed, "Oya! Your parents have come to find you!"
