As night fell, the end of dinner marked a shift in the atmosphere inside the house. The post-dinner tranquility was broken by the children's laughter and chatter; they either played and chased each other in the living room or gathered together to watch television, each immersed in their own little world of joy.

Among the children, Cocolia stood out. She wore loose pajamas, her hair casually falling over her shoulders, and without any affectation, she mingled with the children like an older sister, their laughter echoing throughout the room.

Bronya observed everything silently, her eyes revealing a look of existential doubt. She curled up in the corner, her body involuntarily turning black and white, having ceased to think.

Noticing Bronya's unusual behavior, Seele cautiously approached her, a concerned expression on her face, and whispered, "Bronya, are you alright?"

“I’m fine,” Bronya slowly raised her head, a hint of disbelief in her eyes. “It’s just that Cocolia… does Cocolia’s mother often act like this?”

"Honestly, this little girl is exhausted today." Chen Yuan shook his head and gently stroked Xi'er's head. The latter felt Chen Yuan's touch and affectionately rubbed her head against him.

On that quiet night, Xing sighed softly, a hint of disdain in her eyes as she glanced at Seele, who was leaning on her shoulder. Her tone was helpless as she slowly said, "Let's go back to our rooms and rest. Let Seele go back to her little nest first. I'll make do with Bronya for today."

Her words betrayed a hint of reluctance, as if she were being forced to accept this arrangement. Seele leaned against her, as docile as a kitten, her breathing soft and even, seemingly exhausted to the extreme.

"I'll trouble you to take care of her tonight, Your Majesty."

Chen Yuan nodded slightly, indicating his understanding. Then, Bronya and the other person carefully helped Seele and slowly walked towards her room.

Entering Seele's room, warm light spilled onto the soft sheets. Bronya and Annie gently placed her on the bed, careful not to wake her.

"I'll let you have the Goddess today." Xing looked at the sleeping Xi'er and snorted coldly in dissatisfaction. "Goddess, see you tomorrow."

"See you tomorrow, Brother Chenyuan."

With Xing and Bronya gone, the room returned to silence. Seele lay on the bed, her eyes closed, her breathing gradually becoming steady. Chenyuan sat quietly beside Seele's pillow, a faint smile on his face.

A soft "Eh~" sounded in Chen Yuan's mind. The system's mechanical voice carried a hint of mockery: "Host, your smile is so lewd. We suggest a thorough investigation!"

Chen Yuan merely scoffed, already used to the system's complaints, and ignored them. He simply extended his two soft tentacles and carefully covered Xi'er's trembling body with her small blanket, as if afraid of disturbing her sweet dream.
