Liu Dan proudly raised her chin: "Of course!"

This sight amused Fu Cui, making her laugh.

After her initial triumph, Liu Dan pestered Fu Cui to talk some more. The girl's voice sounded somewhat abrupt in the quiet afternoon, yet it unexpectedly added a touch of vitality.

When Lin Hao woke up, she felt refreshed and yawned. She felt like she hadn't slept so well in a long time.

Hearing the noise, Liu Dan entered with light steps: "Madam, you're awake."

Seeing her beaming smile, Lin Hao joked, "Looks like you've gained quite a bit while I was sleeping!"

Liu Dan was taken aback at first, but when she saw Lin Hao's teasing gaze, she realized what she meant and scratched her head somewhat embarrassedly: "Did I disturb Madam?"

She had clearly pulled Fu Cui away quite a distance, of course, she didn't dare go too far, for fear that the lady might not be able to appear in time if something happened.

Lin Hao chuckled: "No, I slept very well. I'm afraid Fu Cui didn't sleep well!"
