A bed that traverses countless worlds

The dark forest truly lives up to its name.

The thick fog, like ink that cannot be dissolved, covered the sky and blocked out the sun, making it impossible to see one's own hand in front of one's face.

Lin Yu lay on the magical bed, which emitted a faint golden light that illuminated a small area around him, like a solitary lamp in the darkness.

Although this broken bed has taken him through countless worlds and allowed him to experience countless wonderful lives, it still can only be used for lying down!

"Holy crap! What is this thing?!" Kong Yang exclaimed, almost jumping up.

"This is the demonic fountain the old tree man spoke of." Lin Yu's expression turned solemn.

Several small animals near the fountain, after being stained with the black liquid, instantly transformed into hideous monsters, frantically attacking everything around them.

“This thing is more terrifying than my ex-girlfriend… cough cough, more terrifying than anything I’ve ever seen!” Kong Yang swallowed hard.

"It seems we'll have to take a detour," Su Yao suggested.

However, looking around, they found themselves surrounded by steep cliffs and dense thorns, with no way out.

"Looks like I have no choice but to bite the bullet and go for it." Lin Yu took a deep breath, a resolute glint in his eyes.

He maneuvered the bed slowly closer to the fountain, carefully observing the pattern of its eruptions.

“Wait a minute…” he suddenly said.

"I've noticed that the fountain's eruptions follow a pattern; there's a brief pause every ten seconds, lasting about one second," Lin Yu said confidently, pointing to the fountain. "We can quickly pass through during those pauses!"

"One second? That's way too short! What if we miss it and we'll end up as kebabs!" Kong Yang's eyes widened in horror.

"Trust me, now!" Lin Yu stopped wasting words, maneuvered the bed, and rushed out like an arrow.

With a flash of golden light, the bed passed precisely through the gap in the eruption of the magic spring.

"Holy crap! Awesome!" Kong Yang exclaimed and quickly followed.

Su Yao and Alice followed closely behind, their figures flickering in the black mist.

Lin Yu precisely seized the opportunity, weaving through the gaps between each eruption, as if he were playing a thrilling parkour game.

The fountain's black liquid almost grazed the edge of the bed, emitting a nauseating stench.

"Brother Yu, your moves are even more exciting than when I die immediately after landing in PUBG!" Kong Yang shouted as he ran.

Su Yao held Lin Yu's hand tightly, her eyes filled with trust.

Lin Yu felt Su Yao's soft touch, and a warm feeling welled up in his heart.

This feeling of being relied upon made him even more determined to protect everyone.

Finally, they successfully crossed the fountain area.

Everyone breathed a sigh of relief and collapsed to the ground.

"Brother Yu, your observation skills are too abnormal! You even noticed this!" Kong Yang gave a thumbs up.

"Basic stuff, don't be silly." Lin Yu smiled faintly and waved his hand casually.

However, just as they lowered their guard, a deep roar came from the depths of the fountain...

"Holy crap! Could this be the BOSS making his appearance?" Kong Yang exclaimed and jumped up.

Before the words were finished, a group of hideous, demonic creatures emerged from the fountain. Their bodies were twisted, their claws were sharp, and they exuded a suffocating demonic aura.

"Holy crap! It really is a BOSS, and a whole group of them! Does the game planner have a grudge against us?!" Kong Yang cried out in despair and tried to run away.

"What are you cowardly for! What are you afraid of!" Lin Yu shouted, maneuvering the bed to block everyone's way. "Yao Yao, protect Alice! Kong Yang, you better stay away and don't get in the way!"

While giving instructions, Lin Yu also controlled the weapon system on the bed. Lasers, missiles, and electromagnetic cannons were fired simultaneously, instantly blasting the first few monsters into dust.

"666! Brother Yu is awesome!" Kong Yang, hiding behind a tree, peeked out and cheered.

However, there were simply too many of these mutated creatures, and they were incredibly fast and attacked in unpredictable ways, so Lin Yu gradually found himself struggling.

Just then, Alice suddenly began chanting an ancient Elvish verse.

As she chanted, a verdant light enveloped the area around the fountain, and the movements of the demonic creatures noticeably slowed down, as if they were sinking into a swamp.

“This is an elven binding spell!” Alice explained. “Although it doesn’t last long, it should buy us some time!”

"Alice, you're amazing!" Lin Yu exclaimed. Taking advantage of the opportunity, he controlled the weapon system on the bed and unleashed a barrage of attacks on the trapped demonized creature.

"Boom! Boom! Boom!" Explosions rang out one after another, and the demonic creatures fell to the ground, turning into wisps of black mist and dissipating.

The crisis was temporarily averted, and everyone breathed a sigh of relief.

"Brothers, charge!" Lin Yu gave the order, maneuvering the bed to continue advancing towards the Tree of Life.

Kong Yang followed along excitedly, "Brother Yu, wait for me! Wait for me!"
